Brandon shot both my engagement photos and my wedding, and his services were well worth the investment, period. He is incredibly professional, communicative/responsive, kind and courteous. Brandon has the ability to make you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the lens, and the resulting photographs do not at all feel "posed" in a prom photo-like way because you are at ease throughout the process. During our engagement session and on our wedding day it felt more like we were hanging out with a good friend who just so happened to be skillfully snapping photos of us while we were chatting. He has a great eye and is not afraid to gently nudge you outside of your comfort zone to get a great shot, all the while respecting your tolerance levels for how far you're willing to trek through brush and up sandy hills, for example. I know that I will cherish my photos for years to come, and I can't thank Brandon enough for sharing his craft with the world and with my husband and I in particular. Just a disclaimer - I have not seen any of the photos yet (the wedding was just on Friday), so this review just speaks to working with Brandon & Erin (I'll update once we see the photos!) Brandon not only took beautiful photos of us, he captured what it felt like at our wedding. He completely nailed it! We loved working with him and can't recommend him enough. You only get one shot at getting the perfect pictures on your wedding day and by working with Brandon and Erica you can be sure to get that. Having them both shooting our wedding was amazing in that it allowed us to get pictures of things happening simultaneously (i.e. both the girls and guys getting ready, the ceremony guests arriving and the bridesmaids/myself getting ready to walk down the aisle, etc.). I also provided a list of pictures that I wanted to make sure to get and they delivered with every single one (and so many more). They were both great at getting my guests and wedding party out of their shell and in lots of pictures. This is a belated review but a very deserved one! We hired Wanderlust (now Brandon Scott Photo Co.) for both our engagement and wedding photography and it was THE BEST decision we could have made. We met with Brandon for coffee and immediately knew that he was the perfect fit for us. His photos fully capture the beauty of our natural selves and the natural environment around us. He even suggested the videographer that we ended up using who was also INCREDIBLE. We have recommended him to several of our friends and I can say in the last six months we have had three friends use his services and have been over the moon with his work, as well. Out of the many vendor decisions we made in the course of planning our wedding, choosing our photographer was the first one. We knew from the moment we saw Brandon's photos on his website -- by mere chance, in the course of researching potential venues -- that this was the style we wanted to document our day, and a quick intro conversation was enough to seal the deal. It was that simple :) From there on, every moment of working with Brandon was a pleasure. Coordinating what we wanted was incredibly easy. During our actual celebrations, he blended in seamlessly, made us feel really at ease, and was overall a joy to have around. Now, with our wedding over, we are left with absolutely incredible photos to serve as the record of those crazy days. I honestly don't even know where to start with this review! THESE TWO ARE AMAZING. If you're looking for beautiful, perfect, unique photos, then Brandon and Erin are the way to go. My fiancé and I went through them for our engagement photos and we fell in LOVE with the entire shoot, so we chose them to do our wedding in July as well! I have seen A LOT of professional photographs and nothing compares with B&E. We were even looking at other VERY expensive professional photographers (I won't name names), and even though these super pricey photographers have been in the business for AGES, their work paled in comparison with Brandon and Erin's work. I'm honestly not the type of person that likes having my picture taken, and neither is my fiancé, but Brandon and Erin made us feel SUPER comfortable and made us laugh and feel relaxed, and every single photo captured me and my fiancé's relationship perfectly! We were able to just relax into each other like no one was there, and just be together without that awkward "someone's taking pictures of us" feeling. The day of our photo shoot was absolutely FREEZING, and I was wearing a summer dress, there were times when I was super cold and physically uncomfortable, but Erin was super intuitive and made me laugh at all the right times so in the final photos, it just looks like I was super warm, happy and comfortable on a perfect summer day. They both know EXACTLY what to do to make you laugh and feel comfortable, and to make you look incredible on top of that. They are both super creative, and come up with amazing original angles and shots that I have never seen in any other photo shoot! These two are the ultimate dynamic duo. My fiancé and I worked with Erin for our engagement photos and had the best time with her! She is so sweet and funny and kept us lighthearted and having fun the whole time. My fiancé tends to have very awkward smiles when he feels uncomfortable, so having someone make him feel at ease was so huge. She also picked out a gorgeous locale for us (Pfeiffer Beach), where we shot in numerous locations (wooded area, dunes, beach). She was totally open to all of our suggestions. We cannot wait to see the finished product!!! I mean, this is a no brainer. Brandon is AMAZING, period. Our friends and family are blown away by our wedding pictures.
