I approved the extra charge, but when I got my vehicle back, the original issue was still not resolved and my check engine light remained on. They told me they could continue looking into it, but also mentioned that these types of warning signals "sometimes happen," which didn't give me much confidence. On top of that, I noticed my car was returned without proper care there was dirt left in the back seat. At this point, I no longer trust this shop to handle my vehicle. I had no idea until she mentioned it, when I got into an accident with my brand new 2017 Challenger. I instantly checked out her car and you couldn't even tell there was ever damage to it. Prior to talking to my Aunt, I had gone and received a few estimates. I have never been in an accident before so it being my "baby" and not ever having to deal with this I was extremely nervous about getting ripped off or just getting a half ass job done. Hands down though, the moment I walked into Modern Carriage I felt 100x more comfortable with this family and the work they would do then the prior shops I stopped into just from first impressions. So after the initial brief they estimated my car at 5 days in the shop compared to two weeks on average compared to other shops plus about 1500 cheaper. My insurance was paying but hey I want my "baby" back as soon as possible. After having my brief estimate, I instantly knew these are the guys I want to take care of me and my car. 3 days after dropping off my car, it was already done and looking brand new again. This shop worked with me every step of the way knowing I haven't dealt with this before, having a short time frame due to needing to head back to College, as well as the fact my insurance wasn't communicating at all. For me years ago repairs were easy, I just gave him the keys. If we didn't it, he'd send it off to someone and it would get done. We weren't a body shop, nor a detail place, but we knew people. But that was some time ago. Those people are now retired or have passed on. So I'm left to my own resources, asking around and internet research (reviews.) I bought my SUV and there was a slight gap at the bumper after about a month, I did take it back and they just pushed it back. Never looked right. but it was okay. Well now this time I did it backing into a garage there was this wrought iron basket, not mine. My bumper caught it and it pulled away. It looked bad and couldn't be ignored. What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. I came across Carrectly, was impressed by the reviews, also was impressed by the pics of Dixon P's bumper repair. So I sent an email requesting a quote for the repair. Oliver replied fast with an accurate quote and information. He also answer all questions I had. I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! How much time is wasted on dropping off your vehicle? With them none, same for pick up. Yuri was so pleasant and helpful, I inquired about getting a detail, specifically the inside. It really needed it. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly.
