It was a huge space with soooo many dresses to choose from. I also loved how pretty and clean everything was. There was definitely attention given to the details -- the mirrors were decorated so they looked cute in mirror pics, there were props/signs to use for pictures, there was lotion and perfume in the bathroom, etc. They even give you refreshments (water, sparkling water, and some snacks) during the appointment! She pulled the selections my friend wanted to try but also suggested and pulled a couple dresses that she thought would work well for her. And sure enough, the dress my friend said yes to was one that Lisa had picked out! It was perfect for my friend and even within budget (around the $2k range). They also offer an option to get 10% off if you say yes to the dress at your first appointment. The whole experience was wonderful, the store was clean and gorgeous. I found my dress at LUV Bridal, and everything about the experience was perfection! Leading up to the appointment, I called them a few times to see where I was on the waitlist, so when I showed up for my appointment (after happily getting off the waitlist), they were so excited and already knew who I was when I arrived (lol). Before the appointment, Roman (my stylist) texted me so she could learn a bit more about the styles I was interested in and the vibe for the overall look I'm going for. I loved this because it felt like such a personal touch and made showing up for the appointment a breeze. It also made it feel very personal rather than just filling out a form and saying these are the dresses I like. I felt like I was walking into an appointment where my friend wanted to help me look my absolute best on my wedding day. When I showed up for my appointment, they had my name on the wall (along with all the other brides with appointments that day) and they already knew who I was (thanks to those phone calls!). Holly and Roman were there to greet us and they were like "it's THE Danielle!" It honestly kicked off my appointment with such a bang. They brought out snacks and drinks for us (another really thoughtful touch), took some measurements, we talked about the dresses I was interested in trying on, and then we went to look through the dress racks for more. The first dress I tried on ended up being THE dress, and the whole experience was SO fun! Roman brought out the veils, got me a bouquet, and had me "walk down the aisle" to her amazing playlist (which oddly included songs I have on my possible wedding songs playlist). It was SO fun and made it all feel even more real. Even though I knew that was the dress, I tried on maybe five or six more dresses, including some that Roman thought would add a different flare. I loved this because when else am I going to try on wedding dresses again? I loved getting to see so many different styles on myself and really embrace the moment. In the end, I put back on THE dress and I asked for one more addition and Roman went and grabbed it, completely completing the look. It was it! Not to mention, I asked about making one detail change and they were able to make that happen. We all celebrated and it honestly felt like a little party. While the dress is so stunning and I can't wait to get it in September, the service that Roman and Holly gave me, my mom, sister, and friend was just top notch. It was the best experience I had at a bridal shop and I think it was really an amalgamation of great energy, beautiful dresses, creativity and flexibility, and all at a spectacular price point. This is the first and only store I have been bridal shopping to and it was so so magical. Everything i hoped for and more. If there is one store you can and must go to its Luv Bridal in Sun Valley. The staff is absolutely amazing and attentive in every aspect. From the moment I booked the appointment online, they reached out and asked me questions prior to my appointment so they already had an idea before I even stepped in. My stylist and she was amazing and everything I hoped for. I had done my research and read reviews on the store. Meg was the one stylist I felt would be a good fit for me so I booked it and prayed I got paired with her. When I arrived, my name was on the wall which was surreal. Holly welcomed my mom and I and led us to our section. She brought us all sorts of refreshments which was so sweet. Then my stylist came and introduced herself and it was Meg! she took the time to get to know me in terms of the wedding planning and what I like and want. She chatted with my mom and was super attentive to her (my mom is chatty even with English being her second language) and Meg was so so sweet. We also discussed my budget, which us a very important part of the process. Then we walked around the showroom and showed me several dresses around, asking my opinion or what I thought about them. She basically curated a set of about 7 to 8 dresses for me. She never insisted when I said I didn't like something which I loved. I'm naturally shy and a people pleaser and Meg made me feel safe and confident. She was very transparent (the whole store is very transparent which I love). We proceeded to try on the dresses and she was super patient, attentive, and respectful. I swear i felt like she could read my mind or feel my emotions. My dress ended being the 3rd one I tried on but I still tried on others to make sure and Meg did not rush me at all. We made sure it was that one so I would not leave feeling like "what if." I also mentioned a mantilla veil and she pretty much was like say less I have THE one for your dress and I was able to capture exactly what I wanted for my wedding dress. It was very emotional and my mom shared with her how I had prayed I got paired with her after reading the reviews. Meg was so touched, especially after spending all this time with me and helping me find my dress. After I said yes to the dress she gave me some moments to take more pictures and call my aunt and grandma (we cried), Meg came back and told me she checked in with the store and that they wanted to gift me the mantilla veil. I was overwhelmed and speechless by this. I was not expecting that at all but I truly felt so so lucky and blessed. The whole team clapped and celebrated with my mom and I and they were all so so lovely. It was the best experience any future bride going through her engagement era could ever ask for. I learned about Luv Bridal through Tik Tok so I decided to book an appointment online. I knew I selected the right place when they called me to confirm my appointment and get inspo of what I was looking for. The day of my appointment, I was greeted by Meg. She did amazing!!! She took me through the store to get a feel of what I took interest in and even pulled a few "wild cards" of her own that were different. Believe it or not, I chose a dress that had nothing to do with my inspo thanks to Meg. Something that really stood out to be was the close attention to detail Meg really paid to my family and friends. Of all the luv bridals that had the dress I've been eyeing, this san fernando valley shop was the most responsive via email, text, and phone call. Although, I ended up going with a different dress there, my stylist Meg was amazing! She was very patient (i ended up just trying 3 dresses) and friendly. She made me feel at ease during my appointment and was even so kind to give me a heart pendant knowing my mom couldn't be there. Ask for Meg while you are there :). Although you're sharing the space with other brides, it feels like have the whole place to yourself and they provide snacks for your guests. Went here with my fiance to try on some potential wedding dresses. I am midsized (around 10/12) and some of the samples I picked out were a bit tight on my and had to be clipped/bungeed in. I wish I had asked if they had multiple sizes of the same sample or if it was just the one. This place is truly magical! My crew and I received a warm welcome from Taahira and Cristina! They greeted us with treats and refreshments and right away I got over my shopping nerves as this was my first time shopping for a wedding gown! Luv is absolutely on the top of my list for bridal experiences. I tried a few shops prior to coming to Luv Bridal and was blown away by the service. They greet you with a little care package of snacks and beverages and you have your own dedicated space for try ons while your family/friends have a comfortable place to sit (I cannot say the same amenities existed in other shops I visited). The prices were much more reasonable than other shops as well. The selection was not as big as others, but it was definitely quality over quantity. I was assisted by Madison for my initial dress shopping and Alyssa for my dress pick up and second try-on and both ladies were phenomenal. They both gave excellent advice, were incredibly supportive, and taught me how to wrangle these giant dresses. What stood out to me about Luv was that they prepped the dresses for you to step into. They would carefully arrange them on the floor in a particular way where it was simple to step into and pull the dress on. Not a single other store i went to did this, they would just let you struggle pulling dresses off the hangers while you're literally swimming in white fabric, surrounded by 6 dresses and have no room to move. So grateful that this is not the case at Luv. They really go above and beyond. Highly recommend working with them. read more

I FOUND MY DRESS AT LUV BRIDAL! Ahhhh, it feels so good to say that! Layla was my wonderful stylist and she nailed it! Luv Bridal was the second store I visited. Prior to my appointment, Layla contacted me and asked for inspo pictures. I sent her pictures from the first store of dresses I loved, however it was missing something. Layla delivered the missing piece to my puzzle. After introductions, she showed me two dresses she wanted me to try on, and that was all I needed but of course I added a couple more for fun. Luv Bridal is absolutely fantastic! The girls that work there are the sweetest. And their dress selection and pricing can't be beat. I was shocked at how affordable my wedding dress, veil and accessories were. All together it cost around $2,200! My one and only complaint is the seamstress Luv referred me to. Kimberly Designs (AKA @dauthenticbride on Instagram.) Kimberly kept my dress for over 2 months and didn't even start alterations until 3 weeks before my wedding! She was overbooked and took 2 vacations in the time she had my dress. For some context, I had 4 fittings total and no adjustments were made until the 3rd fitting. The final fitting alone took several hours because Kimberly wasn't understanding my requests. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. At the time I convinced myself I was at fault for being too picky, so I tried to come to terms with my dress being imperfect. I reluctantly forked over $1,200, thanked Kimberly for her efforts and took my dress home. Days later I got an uneasy feeling and felt compelled to try my dress on again. I'm SO glad I did. Had I not, I would've looked absolutely ridiculous on my wedding day. Kimberly cut my shoulder straps way too short which caused them to pull downward off my shoulder blades. This unfortunately created a domino effect.. the bust raised as a result, causing the top half of my dress to sit above my chest. To make matters worse, Kimberly also sewed the sleeves underneath the straps instead of on top, double stitched the sleeve seams and left one arm noticeably larger than the other. In a panic I proceeded to text Kimberly requesting to come back for additional alterations. Unsurprisingly, she ignored my message. With only a week and half left before the big day, I had no choice but to get a second opinion elsewhere. If it weren't for Alterations & Sewing by Insi I don't know what I would've done. I owe everything to Insi! After my wedding 10/13/24, I reached out to Kimberly to make her aware of what transpired. She refused to take accountability for her actions or reimburse me despite having picture evidence and witnesses to back up my claims. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare. Please consider my story a cautionary tale and avoid Kimberly at all costs. She will neglect your dress, use incorrect alteration techniques, overcharge you and then turn around and blame you when you point out her mistakes! I would hate for another bride to go through the same experience I did. I sincerely hope Luv Bridal reconsiders referring their clients to Kimberly. Looking back it's evident Kimberly was inexperienced and rushed to meet the deadline, nearly ruining my dress as a result. If I could go back in time and do it all over again though, I'd still recommend Luv Bridal! Every item I purchased from them was beautiful and every interaction I had with them was amazing from start to finish. My only regret is ignoring my intuition and placing my trust in Kimberly. This was a very stressful and expensive lesson. I will never again underestimate the importance of choosing the right seamstress. Please consider yourself warned! I saw the ad for this shop and I could not believe they were in the valley! They were taking appointments online and I was able to go in the same morning. I had been looking for a dress for months and found it here! The store is brand new in the area and it is beautiful! This weekend was their soft opening but it did not seem like it. They have an excellent, warm welcome when you walk in. Melissa greeted my friend and I, she was very nice and helpful. I let her know what I was looking for and my budget and she honed in on specific styles immediately. I saw racks of beautiful gowns, and Melissa selected a handful of gowns, some based on my taste and a few different ones, and the appointment did not feel rushed at all. After going back to my top 3, I selected one. I am short on time due to my wedding date but was able to find something in stock/off the rack and walked out with it. The store offers lay away plans if you are not able to purchase day of. They require a 50% deposit. The overall experience was very welcoming and fun. I did not feel rushed into a decision. Compared to other shops in the Burbank/Sherman Oaks area, they were the most knowledgeable and nice. Wishing the business all the luck!
