Just had my wedding last month and so happy with my dress! I chose the Jada dress from the Louvienne collection. The process was easy from start to finish and my dress was ready a full month earlier than originally quoted. One thing worth mentioning was that one of the tailors they recommended in Eagle Rock told me to call around to other shops and if I still wanted to work with her to call back, which I found a bit strange. Thankfully, I had a referral to another tailor already. Overall, thank you to Albert and the team at Lovely Bride for a great experience! read more

Wanted to give a small update here. There were some shipping issues with my dress and we ran the risk of the dress not being delivered in time for my first alterations fitting! Thankfully, the store manager Emily made magic happen! She called the alterations place, was able to move my appointment, and personally drove the dress across town to be sure it was there on time. While I ended up finding my perfect dress at a different store, I wanted to share my great experience with Lovely Bride and with Albert. I told him the type of style I liked and he was able to pinpoint exactly what I was going for and pulled multiple recommended dresses that were all very close to what I wanted. He has a background in dress tailoring and design - you can definitely tell he is an expert. He was very patient and helpful, he really made the appointment special for me and my group! When I was narrowing it down between dresses, he put my hair up for me and put on a veil, he also handed me a bouquet so I could really see the vision. It's a small gesture, but it was very helpful and appreciated. Thank you, Albert for taking great care of us! I had the most AMAZING experience at Lovely with Albert! I had been to a few other shops with no success, trusted my instincts to see what Lovely had to offer, and my instincts could not have been more right. Albert was so warm and welcoming, and from the second I walked in I knew I was in good hands. He listened, advised, gave me the honesty I was looking for, and answered every question I had without missing a beat or making me feel like I was a crazy bride. With friends and family being so spread out and having to go to my appointment solo, Albert stepped in as my acting bestie for the hour and was so gracious in making my friends and family feel virtually involved. I didn't think I was going to have that ~this is it~ bridal moment and I will be forever grateful to Albert and Lovely for making that happen! read more

Came here with my bride to pick up her dress. Through communications made previously she opted for the "express pickup" when we were greeted at the door we got a very "why are you here bothering me vibe". There was some confusion on if she was even able to pick up her dress. After some intense questioning by the staff we got things straightened out and the dress was brought out. Though there was no customers in the shop and it was not a "typical appt time" my bride couldn't even pull the dress out of the bag to inspect it. She was urged to sign receipt without even looking at it. To avoid further browbeating I held the bag up so she could unzip and take a peek to ensure it was the dress she ordered. In the initial appointment to purchase the dress we felt unwelcome but thought maybe it was a one off. After this experience, though the selection is nice and the shop is cute, if you are expecting to feel special, valued and excited to buy a bridal gown - go someplace else. read more

From the start of my gown fitting, it felt a little uncomfortable. A woman greeted us and showed us to our area where out consultant would meet us. Our consultant never once told us her name or asked me any questions. I had no call or email consultation as stated would occur when I booked. She pulled 3 dresses that I had favorited on their website and I told her that I was no longer wanting plain satin or crepe. She continued to pull only those type. I asked a different way for dresses with more lace and I felt like such a burden to her. I tried to stay kind and positive with her because I worked in the industry and understand it can be stressful when you and your bride aren't on the same page. But, she then continued to make snarky comments towards my family and friends. When my in laws said something about my finace not loving that style (a comment i made to the stylist in the room), she said "who gives a shit what he thinks if she feels good." There were many comments like this and then she'd whisper to me in the room "sometimes, I can tell when I'm going to have to take control of the appointment when family chimes in too much." It was very overwhelming and unenjoyable. Not to mention I had to pay $150 to not like anything and not even have the appointment last an hour..... Every dress was rushed through and her responses to everything seemed robotic and scripted and nothing felt personal or genuine about the experience at all. I tried to be polite and find positives about some dresses but it was truly a terrible experience. The dresses were also soooooo dirty. Like trains filthy, chest and armpit area's caked with dirt and tanner or make up. read more

I had an amazing experience at Lovely Bride LA. The stylist assigned to me was Abigail and she could not have been more sweet and helpful. She asked all the right questions, made me feel comfortable, was supportive each step of the way, and truly felt like a friend who had my best interest at heart. The shop is beautiful and carries a beautiful collection of modern and elevated gowns for decent prices. I was looking for something simple and elegant, and it felt like they had so many options to choose from. I ended up saying YES to a dress from a local designer that I had never heard of or seen online (House of Renhue). Talk about an EXPERIENCE! I had already gone to 7 bridal salons and NONE provided the experience I got at Lovely Bride. My stylist was Albert and he made it an amazing and fun time. We all were laughing and playing around, which made the appointment so fun. Albert used to be a tailor so they provided so many recommendations and played around with designs on the dresses to show different looks that could be achieved. Had the most amazing experience finding my dress here! I came dress shopping by myself because my family is out of state and Albert was so helpful with finding dresses that fit my style and taking photos and videos for my mother to feel included. The first dress I tried on was the dress I knew that I wanted, but the sample was beige on ivory when I knew I wanted ivory on ivory. Albert and the team were extremely helpful with finding a sample of a similar dress by the same designer in ivory on ivory so I could be confident in my purchase. read more

Whatever they are paying Albert it is simply not enough! My group was dragging in energy after a lackluster appointment at a different salon, and Albert turned our whole day around. He made our appointment so fun, and not only is he great at pulling dresses, he's the only stylist I worked with who could take it a step further and really put a whole look together. While I ultimately wound up choosing a dress from another salon, the biggest con to choosing it was that I couldn't get it from Albert! The boutique is set up really nicely, and it was overall really fun and not a stressful experience at all. Wish I could leave no stars... I drove from Las Vegas NV to try on dresses here from a designer that is only carried at 2 stores in California. I had my appointment set for 09/16/2023 at 10:00 am. Upon an on time arrival the stylist let me in and proceeded to help me choose dresses to try on. I was about to go into the dressing room when another party of 3 walked in late. The stylist asked if I knew them. I told her I did not but she welcomed them in and proceeded to tell me that they had the appointment slot and I did not even though I had an email confirmation. She seemed to not believe me when I asked if she wanted to see my email. Instead she said "well they're here and on my schedule so..." After this she told me she may be able to handle us both so I proceeded to my dressing room. Soon after the stylist came in and said "So they have the appointment and have said they don't want you here" (I wish I was exaggerating this.) Following, a woman that was in the other group gave me a horrendous look of disgust. After closing my dressing room I began to sob and my party and I decided to leave take our business elsewhere. Might I add, there were two different platforms and try on areas. For the stylist to indicate to me in such a pushy manor that I should leave was beyond mind blowing (wouldn't you want to make more money?) At no point did the stylist try to assist me. I was so disappointed and hurt. I do not recommend this store to anyone looking for a genuine wedding dress shopping experience. For a store that has "high end designers" the store and dresses were kept in an unacceptable manor. The gowns were dirty and floor unkept. It's a shame their dresses are so pretty and they treat people and dresses so poorly! Especially working with bridal, the stylist should be more thoughtful! read more

Sadly, my experience at The Lovely Bride LA was below average. If you're reading these reviews, you are invested in what your bridal experience will look and feel like, and I encourage you to look elsewhere. I never write reviews and I'm not a spiteful person. Let me first say, that the selection of designers and dresses is pretty good. Lots of options and reasonable prices. My feedback is about the customer service. My journey started in June 2023 when I can to Lovely Bride LA after several failed other bridal dress shops. I fell in love with a Savannah Miller gown that was there on a trunk show. I ended up purchasing it on the spot. I was told the ETA of my dress was December. I called for an updated ETA as December grew to a close. Of course, the holidays made shipping a bit harder but I was never called first with updates. Each time I got new information about delays or shipping it was because I called first. Finally, my dress arrived (again only learned of its arrival when I called to ask) They told me I could pick it up whenever. Naturally, I sped over there asap as I have been waiting my whole life for this moment and 6 months for this particular dress. When I arrived at the shop my stylist - who's also the Store Manager, handed me my bagged dress outside the door like it was Chinese take out... I asked to see it/try it on but was told they had other appointments and I could not. She hurriedly showed me each piece and whisked me out of there. I left with questions on alterations, needing recommendations (since they do not provide this in house) and just utterly disappointed. This dress was $5,000. My expectation for an item so costly is to be treated with a complete white glove experience. If you want that too, you won't get it here. The moment of picking up and trying on MY dress was completely ruined for me. That's really sad for me. I hope that the staff and corporate see some of these reviews and note the impact they have made on some of their customers and make some changes in their customer service. I drove an hour to come here and it was not worth it. I ended up not trying on any dresses and left after 5min because they kept insisting that they didn't have anything in the style that I liked. They kept saying that their San Diego location would have the dresses that I liked. Why would they not let me know beforehand then? I made this appointment weeks ago and even linked my Pinterest and mentioned the designers I liked. They were just so unprepared it was a horrible experience. I was so excited for this place because I'd seen them on instagram and loved those dresses. Thankfully they refunded me the appointment fee but that still doesn't cover the gas I wasted to come here. read more

I had a fabulous experience at Lovely Bride LA. They had an excellent selection with well-priced dresses. My bridal stylist Albert was incredible- he was so energetic, fun, and knowledgeable. Using his background in alterations and wedding gown designs, he was able to provide me with the best insight into reasonable adjustments that I may want from dresses and also provide me with the best dress suggestions after really paying attention to what I liked and observing my reactions to each and every dress. My experience with Lovely Bride was EXTREMELY disappointing and ultimately made me dread the entire dress shopping experience. Not only was the incorrect size recommended, my original stylist was unaware of the general designer restrictions when ordering dresses (ex. split sizing). My mom expressed concerns, but they continued to reassure us the dress sizing was correct. The dress I ended up with was falling off of me, with cups size too big to fix due to the intricate detail and custom lace detail. My dress sat in their studio for over a month before we were notified it had arrived. It was only after consistent follow up on my behalf that we were told it was there. At what point would they have reached out? Due to this I lost approximately a month and a half of alteration time, putting me in the less than two months out from my wedding window. As a bridal shop Lovely Bride knows the importance of alterations. After attempting to communicate with the Lovely Bride team emails are either ignored, and phone calls met with childish demeanor. Karina, their stylist at the new location, was the only individual on the Lovely Bride team to recognize how terrible the situation was and did her best to try to help us resolve the many issues, but was left with little to no support from her management team. Rue de Seine was also made aware of the situation and has made no comment either. My mom has worked in the fashion industry for over 40 years and was shocked by Lovely Bride's customer service and support to their team members. At the end of the day, I ended up purchasing a new dress as I no longer felt that special spark with my original one. Don't always count on the process going smoothly, and if you have any worry there might be some issue do not work with Lovely Bride as they will do nothing to help you. I ended up finding two other bridal salons after this all went down who went out of their way to move mountains to help get me in a dress on my wedding day, while Lovely Bride continued to ignore the current situation. There are SO many other bridal shops out there, Lovely Bride is just not worth it. read more

Paid $50 for the privilege of entering the "salon". Upon arriving, the lights were off, no music, a couple of distracted employees, a sad and saggy couch and a single mirror leaning against the wall. We were not offered a refreshment until we asked for water. My daughter wasn't offered anything. So, not off to a good start. The stylist pulled a few dresses that my daughter had wanted to see, but after that we were on our own. Even the particular dress my daughter wanted to try on was laced up wrong. The stylist had no idea how the back detail was supposed to be done. After 30 minutes, we felt very unwelcome, especially after being told there was no way to get the dress in time. We were escorted out and we stood on the sidewalk wondering "what just happened?" Complete waste of time and money. read more

I came to the Venice location a couple of months ago and wasn't too impressed. First of all, there is a $50 appoinment fee. I was early on in my wedding dress search and thought this was normal but after visiting several other boutiques after, even higher end ones, none of them have charged an appointment fee. My stylist was nice but seemed really young and very inexperienced so my interactions with her felt awkward. There was no music playing in the boutique at all so it was just really quiet which added more to the awkwardness. I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. I'm also bummed about having paid $50 and not finding "the one" here. Only make an appointment here if there's a dress you REALLY and MUST have to try on. read more

This was my 3rd apt on my very first day of trying dresses and it was the perfect ending to our first day! I worked with Lauren who was absolutely delightful in every way! She picked some amazing dresses, was fun, patient, helpful, cool, and picked out a few x-factor dresses that ended up being my favorites! This store is the best and cutest one I've been too so far! My stylist Kat was the cutest girl ever. I was given a call a few days before my appointment and Kat asked me all about my vision so when I came in all the dresses where already picked for me!! Kat made it feel so fun and easy to say yes to my dress (and they let you pop a bottle of champagne when you say yes!). She made my family and I feel so welcomed. It is such a curated selection and the dress I said yes to was a Lovely exclusive so it made me feel even more special. BRIDES you don't need to shop anywhere but Lovely. read more

The stylist that was helping me was really friendly and tried to be as helpful as she could be. The review is mainly for the store/ company. First of all- I feel ripped off for having to pay an appointment fee for a store that didn't carry my size in dresses. I feel like this should've been noted somewhere on the website or a reminder email? As a midsize lady, I've never had this experience before. I went to try on dresses specifically by Alexandra grecco and apparently this designer thinks only XS people should have the honor of wearing her dresses... the store doesn't really have as much inventory as I thought it would. Every dress felt meh except maybe one. My friends and I couldn't wait to get out of there. I agree with the other reviews - no music, boring, and no complimentary drinks offered. This was the best wedding dress shopping experience I have had. I had been to multiple salons prior and the stylists just put me in what I thought I wanted- I came to Lovely Bride to confirm this one particular dress was the one and that is where I met Kat. Kat was by far the best stylist I have ever worked with- I feel really lucky I got to do this with her. She was kind, patient, picked up on my queues and was just overall such a sweetheart. What a shame as my daughter loved the lovers society dress she purchased, but it was purchased under the false pretense that she could purchase lace and material to alter it. This was reiterated several times during the sale. The store personnel lied on numerous occasions after that purchase saying she was unable to purchase any material or lace. This went on for months. I contacted Lovers Society who informed me that was not the case and that lace could be purchased. The sales person at lovely bride lost her cool when I informed her of this and started blaming others while raising her voice. When we picked up the dress I purchased the veil and was told we would get it in about a month and it could be then forwarded to my address. Another LIE. We were recently informed the veil would not be available until January!! Just an awful store with no integrity and only interested in taking your money, causing my daughter a lot of stress and they basically spoiling her whole buying a wedding dress experience. read more
