Upon arrival, I was met by Ann, who helped me with my alterations. She is amazing! I brought in a dress that needed a few alterations plus same day pick-up, and she delivered! I dropped off my dress yesterday morning, went to brunch, ran some errands, and my dress was ready for pick-up before the store closed at 4pm. I also dropped off my wedding dress, along with other dresses/skirts and can't wait to pick those up. I figured I would wait to get it cleaned next time I wore it.. and I just did not have an opportunity to wear it again until now, 3 years later. It's a very special dress to me, so I consulted Holiday Cleaners to see if they could get it out. I messaged them through yelp before going in, and David the owner was very quick to respond and gave me assurance that he would take good care of my dress. I took the dress in and they started with dry cleaning first, but that didn't get the stains out. They suggested a method to get the stains out that was outside of the suggested care label, and David took his time to talk to me on the phone to walk me through the process. He was very upfront with the risks and cared enough to ask me my comfort level on how far to push to get the stains out. They successfully got the stains out and my dress looks good as new! The whole process only lasted 2 days!!! I dropped off the dress on Tuesday afternoon, and the dress had gone through dry cleaning, stain removal and finishing touches by Thursday afternoon. All the staff I have interacted with have also been so nice and friendly - David, Irene, Lisa. They also have a neat system that you can use to track your progress. I needed to follow up with them. They didn't offer any compensation for the delay (or loss of item). Even after I provided them my information, it was up to me to follow up with them. I don't speak for everyone here, but for me dry cleaning is a luxury for certain pieces of clothing that are super precious to me. Luckily everything I brought to them was returned to me, but it did take 3 people to do so and it was a little nerve wracking thinking 2 of my husband's linen suits were gone. It was difficult to communicate with them and definitely makes me think twice about dropping precious items off here. Fabric was cleaned to a good standard, but it is also expensive.
