She took off 3 inches from my dress and it came out better than I expected! The total for my dress was $40, considering great price for the work she does! (Before coming here, I went to get a quote at great mall for the same alterations and they quoted me for $70 for the same job...) I dropped off my dress on Tuesday, and it was ready on Thursday, so 2-3days for a item. This store is cash only! But you can pay when you drop off your items or when you come by to pick it up. Never visit again. Our sofa covers looks not dirty when we went to make dry clean. We want to make them dry clean because the sofa cover have some bad smell. After the dry clean service, our sofa covers had still the bad smell and got some other body oder smell. When I complain with this problem, the owner just ignore me because I have the complain he didn't want to talk with me. Ok, I know dry clean can hard wipe out peculiar smell. Stumbled upon this place since it was close to my house. By far one of the best alteration places I've been too. My mom, sister, & I had a dresses (5 total) we needed to hemmed and altered for an upcoming wedding. When we got there, we were welcomed and asked to try on our dresses (there's only one fitting room, but not a big deal to wait). The seamstress was amazing, she knew exactly how we wanted our dresses to be altered without us even asking. You know someone is well-experienced when they can just look at the dress and know how to fix it that it'll fit your body perfectly. Service was quick! I'm so impressed with this place! I brought in a dress for my graduation that was 2 sizes too big and had a strap ripped off. I have a tiny waist so I wasn't sure it would be possible to make it fit the way I envisioned, but some how she made it happen and SEAMLESSLY! The guy is polite and friendly. But the girl was rude. The first time, she argued that they could not 'guarantee' to remove the dark sweat stains on my white shirt's collars. Firstly, you are a dry cleaner, that's what I pay you for... and secondly, she copped a condescending attitude. Then the second time she charged me $.15 extra for paying with a credit card, which was laughable. There are plenty of dry cleaners in the area and I will not return. read more

My go to spot for alterations! This is a little unknown spot in San Jose for alterations. Hidden in a small complex nearby Costco. I always come here to alter my designer jeans and suit jackets. They always do a good job. There was one time there was a slight snag on one of my suit jacket alterations, but they happily fixed it for free even after I already had taken it home and brought it back the next day. Most places would try to charge you a fee for their own mistake or at least pick a fight with you about it. Prices are totally reasonable here. $7 for pants alterations and $15 for suit jacket alterations. The owners here are always friendly, too! Not only are they incredibly friendly, the dress fits perfectly and you cannot tell it has had any work done on it. My husband placed his trust in me to find a local tailor to alter his suits last week. I had read some reviews about Jimmy altering high end suits and went with it. We brought in 5 suits and a sports jacket. We got there and asked for Jimmy but he had just stepped out to run an errand. My husband showed some hesitation but Mai reassured us he was in good hands and that Jimmy would be right back. She had my hubby try on each suit individually and took out safety pins and began to fit him. I watched my husband's hesitation change as she worked with him to see what needed to be taken in or hemmed. He told me then that he felt much better because the tailor was actually pinning the measurements so he could see the fit instead of just chalking his suits up as he experienced in the past. After my husband got through his 2nd suit, Jimmy came in and introduced himself. He then transitioned over and took care of the rest of the measurements. Jimmy was thorough explaining how much he could take in to maintain the cut of the suit based on how a pocket was cut..etc. My husband's jackets all had to be taken a bit at the shoulder and at the waist which I know can be hard work. When we were done with the measurements, Jimmy offered us a discount for multiple alterations without us even asking. The prices was already more than fair. Jimmy also had my husband's suits steamed and pressed and individually wrapped. Before we left, he also told us he guaranteed his work so if we found that we needed adjustments, he would take of them immediately. Alterations for the suits and sports jacket were completed within 10 days. I picked them up on Friday and my hubby just tried on everything and the alterations were spot on! I highly recommend men's suit alterations with Jimmy. If you have English Laundry, E Zegna, Hickey Freeman pieces you need altered, you're in great hands! My husband will be recommending his coworkers to get their suits and pants altered with Jimmy. Not only did Jimmy and his staff offer excellent customer service to his direct client, he was great helping me carry my husband's suits out to my car because I have a lil 5 month old running errands with me.
