Wow - I'm following "Sherry J's" lead on this; Was going to give this location 2 Stars - But, OMG - WTF! - Why - Why - Why? - Does "Lush" - the "Cosmetic Product Snobs" that you guys truly are - feel that the good people are so "Unsophisticated" that you would cram you great products into a "Telephone Booth" - Totally disrespectful and not cool. Thank You Delaware - For your Tax Free Shopping! - Come on Lush - Get it together & stop being cheap. I hope this message reaches your management. Visitors to the Christiana Mall - deserve more respect. Give us a store like the Roosevelt Field, Long Island Location - We the Lush Customers deserve better. Went to lush to find an anti sweat product and was helped by Kathy. We found one that fits my concerns perfectly. She was absolutely amazing. I asked her what other products she'd recommend for me and she supplied me with 3 samples of products she picked specifically for my skin type and hair just by looking at me. She then did the same for my friend who has very different concerns than I do. She read us like a book and then gave us customized samples that I cannot wait to try. I love Lush products. Today I tried to purchase bath bombs, but the store was full of at least 12 little girls, plus adults, and it seemed like 10 employees for a space as big as a phone booth. Excuse me 6 year olds, you are blocking my way to the Sex bath bomb. When I could finally get to the bath bombs, I had to wait in line behind the gaggle of girls to pay. I couldn't even try to see anything else in the store. What happened to Mr Bubble?? I guess they do ok with the children shoppers, but the adults like me would have spent 3xs more if we could actually reach the products. As much as I love Lush products, I have no desire to shop at the same store as a bunch of children. I can go elsewhere and on line. read more

Yet another fun location for the Lush franchise. Rob and I had a ton of fun with the staff member that was working and even though I'm sure we were acting crazy at one point, she was a complete doll. I'm not sure why Aaliyah says they weren't knowledgeable, but I was definitely pleased with the fact that these employees were not pushy like the Walnut St. location ones. And according to the girl we spoke with, this location opened recently(within the past year), which could explain any possible 'lack of knowledge". But believe you me, I prefer friendly and personable staff than knowledgeable pushy staff any day. I'll definitely be back! read more

I like their products, particularly the shampoo bars, which are fantastic for travel (no liquid, you can 'save' your precious ounces for other stuff!) My two stars has to do with the high pressure sales and the high prices. Another Yelper had it right, this store is the size of a freaking phone booth, and it's swarming with staff just dying to jam some stuff down your throat. The agressive salespersons really turned me off and made me reluctant to enjoy as much time in the store as I wanted. Instead, I just needed to get my stuff for my husband and get out. read more

I've shopped here a couple times and the best thing about this store is the tax free shopping. Its effin the size of a small bedroom and they pack stuff in it and it just makes for an uncomfortable setting. The staff doesn't seem to know the products as well as the staff at the walnut st store. I def don't like being haggled but at least in Philly they know what the hell they are trying to persuade u to buy. Maybe its just me being a snot but my first experience with Lush was at the walnut st store and I fell in love. I have never had a bad experience at LUSH. Though the products can seem slightly expensive and they never do sales this is so they can pay their workers a living wage. I have always been a fan of their ethics and morals and when I walk in this store they are always kind and helpful. Today I bought D'Fluff and was in a bit of a rush and they were quite courteous about getting me what I need and letting me be on my way. Overall a positive experience and a good example of why I am a loyal customer. read more

YES! There's a Lush store near me. This pleases me. I've been a fan of Lush since discovering it when I was in London about 7 years ago. They've always been on the other side of town from me but worth the trip. Now that I live in Elkton I saw that there was one in the Christiana Mall so I found it today in a search for more manly deodorant. The ladies at the counter had a similar surprised reaction. Always happens when a dude walks in and knows exactly what he wants. This ain't my first rodeo. Grabbed my dude-odorant and a massage bar. They have the best massage bars around. Trust me. Would I lie to you? Or maybe I'll just have to show you. They also have new perfumes and I was impressed by the light scents. Not overpowering. my style. Lush has been a solid spot for years now and I'm glad they are near me. read more

I believe the lady who helped me was Shelby. She was absolutely delightful. I wasn't sure if I wanted a bath bomb or a bubble bar because in my previous experience the bubble bar didn't bubble enough for my liking. She gave a complimentary one to try and see if it works better this time. I've never received such a pleasant experience as this one at a lush store before. read more

I've been coming to this store for many years, while visiting family. But I'm lucky enough to have a Lush store back home in Birmingham now. As soon as you enter the store, the mix of fragrances is quite overpowering. My experience at Lush has been pretty good, the sales staff have been quite helpful and never aggressive. I love their bath products, including their olive branch shower gel, various body creams and of course, their bath bombs! I give them 4 stars instead of 5, on account of their pricing. read more

Giving this Lush location even a 1 is being gracious. I have been using Lush products for over 10 years now and have been in over a dozen stores as I travel for work. The store is about the size of a bathroom stall, however that is not even the reason this particular store is getting a bad review. I walked into the store and had to hunt down someone to help me as 3 workers were just standing around chit chatting. I finally found someone and told her my type of skin and how I wanted to try a different moisturizer since I have been using Imperialis for a long time now. She was clearly in a rush as she said, "If its working for you don't change it." I wanted to purchase other items as well but I was so DISGUSTED by the customer service I just bought the Imperialis and walked out. Low and behold as I am walking out, the girl and her friend are both walking out in front of me. She was in such a rush to get out of work that she couldn't help a customer. If I ever did something like this to a patient I am sure I would have been scolded by my supervision. I called the store directly to talk to the manager and apparently they were all out to a conference at that time so I spoke to the floor manager or something like that who ensured me the manager would give me a call back. She encouraged me to call the main Lush customer service, which I did to report this. They also told me they would call the store to have the supervisor call me. I have been hesitant to write this review in hopes that the manger would call me back. It is now about 1 month to 1.5 months later and I have yet to receive a phone call back. Body works right across the Lush has won my business. I will NEVER step foot in that store. I drop over $100 every time I shop at Lush so they just lost a great customer. read more

This location is small but amazing. If the store is cramped because of customers I know it's because the products are worth the wait. Every year lush comes up with more environmentally friendly and healthy products for the body. I have come to this location since they opened and I can't help stopping by when I walk through the mall because the store smells so good. It never gives me a headache unlike other companies that use alcohol and harsh chemicals in their product. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. I genuinely can tell they like their products and have good recommendations for whatever I need. read more

I really, really love Lush's products. However, Lush needs more sales! I went into Lush super early the one day, (December 26th), in the whole year that Lush has a sale to find everything was gone! The company itself has very good, non-synthetic products but they are priced far too high for the value. Also, this particular lush is very crowded and not very manageable. The Body Shop is better value as its products are made naturally like Lush and almost as good for nearly half the price of Lush. read more

Nice location @ the mall. I went in there knowing what I was looking for ahead of time thanks to their website but after talking with one of their helpful sales reps, I found a face mask that was more what I was looking for. I also bought this hair sampler and I must admit, I'm hooked on the Big shampoo and Veganase condisher thanks to their scent and how good they make my hair feel I'm enjoying the Brazen Honey fresh face mask I got too. Its fun just shopping around in there as they let you try samples of stuff so you know how it feels on your skin. read more

I love all of the lush products and this is the only lush store in Delaware so when I visit the Christiana mall I immediately want to go to this store. However, the store is way too small for how popular these products are. There are always way too many employees on the floor. Also they hound me and stick products in my face to smell without me asking which makes for an extremely unpleasant experience. read more

I'm officially a Lush fan. The smell of the store is pretty overpowering when you first walk in...actually, even before you walk in...but you get used to it after walking around the store for a bit. The employees here are extremely knowledgeable and patient (I was particularly impressed with the employee who spent almost 20 minutes helping me pick out a face mask), but not pushy. It's obvious they want you to buy something (duh), but they are NOT pushy at all. If they sense that you're interested in something but are hesitant to buy it, like say, a $40 moisturizer (!), they'll just give you a sample without you even asking for one. The Fresh Face Masks are a-maz-ing. If you have oily, temperamental, acne-prone skin like me, try Cupcake... it's life-changing (and smells good enough to eat). read more

Went this past saturday to Christiana mall, the store was so crowded and being a new shopper to Lush it felt super cramped and hard to move around but the customer service was excellent! I was greeted by a friendly sales lady that asked if i was familiar with their products, i wasnt, but just let her know i was browsing, so she left me alone. As i was looking at the bath bombs the sames sales lady came over and kindly explained each one to me without being pushy. I ended up purchasing one and cant wait to try it out! Great experience and hopefully will be back. Bring this store closer to Baltimore! read more

I got my first bubble bust this Lush location. Can't remember the store clerk's name but she was very knowledgable about all the products and demostrated what each of the does. I think I'd spent about an hour in that store testing all the creams and bath bombs. I love the bubble bombs and bath bombs. They smell so yummy. Each time I come out to the mall, I must stop here to buy a few of the bubbles and bath bombs. read more

Love this store, the manager is super friendly and awesome. I went in while on a roadtrip and he didn't sneer . Lush is fun and smells good. Better yet, they practice corporate responsibility and try to buy from indigenous people, in turn making a difference. They are environmental friendly so everything is natural - not sure if organic - but made with real stuff and not tested on animals in labs. Its a little pricey for me but makes up for knowing that they have happy employees and your not soaking in toxic pollutants. read more

I am addicted to lush products! They are wonderful and most of them smell and do amazing things! *ive only found a few smells I don't particularly like*. All the employees are very helpful each and every time I go, about every 2-3 weeks!! I recommend the shower jellys they are heavenly! Drove from Northeast Philadelphia to this mall just for this store, what a big disappointment! I fell in love with this store at the location in Dublin,OH. They were wonderful at that store and really turned me on to their products with their assistance,knowledge and even some samples to go home with. Staff at Christiana Mall location really wasn't interested in assisting me too much. Place had an odd vibe to it, setup was not that great either (very clustered). I did purchase a couple of things I specifically came in for and no samples were offered this time because like I said they really didn't seem to care that I was there. I probably would have bought more but could not wait to leave. I'll try the Philly location or shop online next time. read more

I live in Philadelphia, but since the Walnut store has been closed, I go to down to the Christiana Mall LUSH every once in while. I had a few things to bring back since LUSH skin care ended up not working for my skin. Every time I have returned something to LUSH at the Walnut Street store or King of Prussia, they put the amount back on my debit card with no issue. When I asked the woman at the register if she could do this, she laughed at me and said no, they can now only do exchanges. I ended up finding a few things to exchange my items for, but it was a few dollars off. I didn't want to lose that four or five dollars, so I asked for a small cut of aqua marina. The woman was visibly upset, and others in the store noticed how loud she was speaking to me and how rude she was being. Throughout the rest of the transaction, she was so unbelievably intolerable: rolling her eyes, throwing my purchases, and just being so impolite. This has turned me off to the LUSH store at the Christiana Mall completely. i will not be going back. read more

I freaking love this place. I've tried basically every kind of thing they have. Most of it is too pricy for me to keep on the regular but I always use their skin care stuff, the bubble bars, and bath bombs as I am a bath fiend. The comforter bubble bar gives me those big "Hollywood" bubbles I always strived for as a kid. A lot of the reviews talk about high pressure salespeople who aren't knowledgable and I have literally no idea what they're talking about. I've never ever EVER encountered someone who works there that doesn't know every nuance of a product. Maybe it's bc I go weekday mornings and I'm usually the only person there. I don't know. My bf even got me an amazing gift box set last Christmas that he wanted slightly customized for me and he said all he did was tell the guy smells I like and was able to pick products out that coordinated... and I loved it! I've been going here since it opened and I've never had an experience that wasn't great. read more
