This would be my worst experience to date. I would give them a zero if I could. I'm new to the area and decided to give the salon on the 96th location a try. I will not be going back. The service was rushed and the lady doing my nails made it a painful process and had 4 of my fingers bleeding non stop. When I booked online, (regular pedi and shellac mani) the service had an hour and 50 minutes allotted. I was in and out of the salon in an hour and 15. My pedi was okay, tho the nails were not cut and shaped with care and the application is streaky. My hands tho are where the trauma really happened. The lady doing my nails was rushed and used an e-file drill on my cuticles causing lots of deep wounds and bleeding. I also had to make her go over my nails when applying the base coat because she missed 2/3 of the nail...same thing with the colour application. I was looking forward to this, it was meant to be a treat, however my hands now appear to be in worse condition than before. I've emerged with battle wounds. I will not be going back and recommend you avoid the place as well. read more

I recently moved to close to the Salon. I had a go to nail person back in Richmond whom I've been going to for the last 3 years. I was on yelp trying to find a nail salon close to my house aNd Viola... The ambiance is cute. The staffs are Friendly and very welcoming. During my first appointment I never felt like it was my first time going there cause everyone staff wise were all very friendly and approachable. Booking the appointment was easy and hassle free, you can either call, message in Facebook or instagram. I had Kira as my nail tech, I love her... she was bubbly and very personable. She took time to do my nails and she nailed the perfect shape I wanted. I didn't feel rush during my appointment with her which I value cause from my past experience I always felt rushed. The second visit was the owner shes really funny and she welcomed me to the neighbourhood. Suggested places to eat and so on. The one thing I like is everyone does nail art so you don't have to wait for a specific person do get nail art done. The only thing I had a hiccup on was when I had a matte finish and jewels added... the jewels only lasted for about half a day, they seemed like they weren't glued enough and day two after my first nail appointment the matte finish starts peeling off.... so I had to go back and has my nails redone... I decided to change my entire nails... They were accommodating and acknowledged my concerns. It would be nice if they sort of give discount as it was correcting my first set. I would highly recommend! read more

I have been here a couple of times and their service was OK, I got matte red acrylic nails. The girl who did my nails was quiet and did an average job on doing my nails, but I felt like she rushed it a bit and could have done a better through job. I paid around $45 so it wasn't that inexpensive for what you're getting. However, after a few days, I realized that my matte nails started to get scratches and I was upset with that. I'm not sure if matte nails are supposed to get scratches or if the product they used was just poor and cheap. I have been to better nail salons and I'm not sure if I would come back to this salon. read more

I am so sick of giving this place a chance. They're unprofessional, have no regard for clients, and do not stick to their appointment times. It was my moms birthday, so I decided to treat her and booked an appointment for 3 and they didn't start doing her nails till about 4:15!!!!!! Secondly, they messed up the gel polish application --still charged me for it, and didn't even compensate my mom for the fact that they wasted her time! This isn't the first time that this has happened, every time I go in, something's always messed up or they can't keep their appointment time. Looking for a new place, any suggestions? read more

Theres one girl I really enjoy getting my nails done with here but that's about it. The space is really dirty and the services can be really rushed (my last pedicure took less than 20 minutes). During the pedicure they used already-used buffing blocks on me and only got fresh ones when I commented on it. This is a simple standard amongst most salons for hygienic purposes. I've never seen any cleaning done around the place which is really disappointing, everything is always dusty and covered in strangers nails clippings and such. Reached out twice (politely) about this experience and was shut down both times. Not encouraging to go back. For the prices being more expensive than most nail salons near by, it's better to go somewhere else honestly. Used to like this place but it seems somethings changed. Really disappointed to say I won't be coming back here for a long while. read more

These guys are great! I came in to get gel nails, regular pedicure and my eyebrows done. They did my nails exactly how I like them (I'm picky about the shape I like) they did a great job on my toes and eyebrows as well. They have a large selection of both gel and regular polish. I found the price to be pretty normal for gels and so on. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I will defiantly come back. read more

I had my bridle shower here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us bring in our foods and drinks. My nails looked great and lasted for 4 weeks! I highly recommend this place. Julie did my nails. Tommy did my friends polish. We all had fun and our nails looked awesome. Reasonable price to. Thank you. read more

Lush Nail Lounge - how can anyone be so careless - Nail Salons Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

I have been here two times and the first time was great. They charged extra for a specific colour but I knew that before. It was so good that when my regular place couldn't fit me in before work I gave Lush a call. I'm really very disappointed and I am not sure I will return. I called the afternoon before to book a 10am appointment. That gave me an hour for them to do my nails which is pretty standard for an acrylic fill with shellac. I arrived at 945am as I always like to be a little early if I can. 10am rolls around and the person that is supposed to do my nails is nowhere to be found. Kat, who was there trying to do her client's nails, was frantically trying to call the technician without success. She was eventually able to get in touch with the owners and to help she started my nails by grinding off the old polish and length. Unfortunately there was a number of times that it hurt as it was way too close. I can't fault her as she had her own client too. One of the owner's arrived about 10:25 to finish up. The end result was a few are crooked, some longer than others and about the best part is the colour. Turned out the original technician decided she was coming in for 11ish and didn't tell anyone. I would think twice about going back after this experience. read more

I wish I could give this rating a -5 but the app doesn't have it. Why? Because I went to get my pedicure done and my big toes have ingrown so no problem, easily take it out and it'll be good no pain after that. WRONG!! After getting my pedicure done my big toe nail was giving me so much pain. If I walk and put pressure it hurts if I accidentally touch it w my other feet or hit something on my toe i feel so much pain. Even my pinky toe was in pain for god knows what!! Their application was decent except when it came to the top coat. I got gel top coat so it would be way easier for it to apply. Sadly the lady that did my shellac toes top coat was poorly done. There were some that weren't filled in, there were bumps, and there were even gaps that didn't have shellac on. Honestly disappointed. Pedicure was also for made to get rid of some dead skin from your hells, that's what I mostly came in for. My heels still feel the same before I even got the pedicure done. Even looks the same! Honestly really disappointed in this. Everyone left good reviews for pedicure so I had to try it out! First experience in this honestly so disappointed in it... never coming back again. They also charged me just to get a few of my shellac off??? WHATT??? read more

If I could give this place -10 stars I would. This place is super unprofessional and I do not think people should come here. My mother in law got her lashes done by this place. And then the next day her eyes were blood shot red. They looked so irritated and she told me they were bothering her. My mil isn't a English speaker so I, of course called them for her. In the beginning they didn't want to admit their wrongs and we came to the conclusion that next time they'll give her a discount. The day comes for her next appointment and my mil arrives 30 mins early. She calls me to tell me that they were refusing to give her the discount and if I can talk to them and I said sure. I was talking to them and then they were threatening to cancel her appointment that she had already made. Amy was super unprofessional and started yelling at me through the phone and in front of my mil. I told her "I don't know who you are but she already made the appointment" my mil insisted she wanted her lashes done. So I told her that she wants the appointment but she will not be coming back for their service. My mil in law tells me they start talking poorly about her in their native language and we're doing her lashes in such a bad manner. She of course didn't say anything since she is a soft spoken person. They also charged her extra for the set. So weird right? But Amy is a terrible person and needs to not only perfect her lashes but also her unprofessionalism. Worst place ever and definitely do NOT recommend to anyone. read more

I was a little hesitant to write this review because I don't want the shop to get too busy (Sorry Julie! - I'm selfish - haha!) The shop is amazing! Very clean, not cramped at ALL! Extremely relaxed environment. Very much a nail LOUNGE versus the typical shops and salons. The staff have GREAT attention to detail and they are so patient! (Lucky me) Julie is very imaginative with the artwork and has always taken on all the challenges I bring her way! Pricing is pretty much on par with other shops/salons. The service here is far beyond anything you can expect elsewhere! read more

I am writing a review of the new (second) Lush Nail Lounge location on 128 and 96 in Surrey. I needed to get my nails done and researched a few places and decided I like the quality of work by the owner, Kim. I called in advance and made an appointment specifically with Kim. I got there at my appointment time (6:00 pm) and had to wait about 15 minutes which was fine. It was a full house when I got in. Then I was told that someone else would start my nails because Kim was busy. The person who started my nails, I could tell she was very new and didn't do the shape or length I wanted. Finally, Kim took over at 7:00. She was rushing the whole time and kept saying she was off at 7:00. She kept making personal calls (on speaker) and telling people she was off at 7. I didn't finish my appointment until about 8:00 pm. That being said, my nails turned out GOOD. They look nice (although still not the shape I wanted). So I have a mixed review. The nails turned out good for a one off appointment but the experience was lacking. I probably would not come to this place again. It is annoying when businesses will take anyone they can just to make the sale. If I made an appointment with Kim, I expect her to do my full appointment. If she's busy, then don't take my appointment this day. You're wasting my time and hers. Otherwise I could've chosen one of the other nail studios I was researching. Kim asked me to leave a review so I now leave my honest review. Sorry! read more

I went to the 96 location to get a full acrylic set with regular polish for an event I had in a couple of days. The place was nice and small and we were greeted at the door. After the nail tech started working on my nails, She convinced me to get gel polish instead of regular polish which I had no problem with as it was only a $10 difference. As she began to do my nails (I had made an appointment earlier that day), two other clients walked in. The first nail tech doing my nails had already began applying the glue. When the two other clients walked in, she told me that they had already booked an appointment with her and asked if it would be ok if the other nail tech did my nails instead. No problem I didn't mind. The second nail tech who began to do my nails did not seem too confident and told me that she didn't like doing acrylics. I kind of just brushed it off but then as she kept working I began to notice that my nails were extremely bumpy and uneven. She continued to work on the rest of my nails and they were similarly not smooth or even. I asked her if she would be smoothing them out later on and she said "yes don't worry". After another half an hour of attempting to smooth out my nails, the nail tech move me over to another nail tech who proceeded to attempt to smooth down my nails and then apply the gel polish. The final product was uneven, bumpy and looked rushed (even though it wasn't). The last nail tech who worked on my nails informed me that since my nails were "extra long" that it would be an extra $5 fee. My nails were definitely not extra long they were medium at most, But I just went with it because I didn't want to argue. For some reason when I went to pay I was charged an extra $10 for my nails. On the website it said that a full acrylic set with regular polish was $40, and gel was $50. I was charged $65. Anyways, my nails ended up coming off within 8 days and now I have to remove them at home since I'm working an early shift tomorrow and have no time to get them removed. Won't be coming back here. read more

This place does really nice nails! I got my set done from Kim but my only problem was that 2 of my nails fell off within 2 weeks of getting them done.. I dont play sports or do anything that would break them like that so im not too sure why that would happen. read more

Went to Lush Nail Lounge about a month ago for Solar nails. Tom did the original job and did a very good job. The cost was $50 + tax. 2 weeks later I went in for a fill and what a difference. They put me with a young girl called Kat. She is an absolutely terrible job. She ruined 3 nails but filing them into moon shapes. Granted she did rebuild them but now they are really short. I went in with beautiful nails and left with very thick & short nails. Not only did she do a terrible job she charged me $58. How is it possible that a fill costs more than the original set!! When I questioned her she said it was because I chose French tips which they paint on rather than using the power. I was not happy at all. After a week the nails started to lift near the cuticle. I have gone to a new place that charges much less and did a fantastic job. The were shocked at the job Lush did. I would not recommend going there unless you like paying more. I will say that Tom was great for the 1st meeting. Too bad. read more

They are really friendly and it's always easy to book the appointment time that I want. Shellac manicures are always perfect.

Well that was interesting. My normal place was at least an hour behind, so I thought I would check this place out and I won't be going back. I only wanted a polish change, I was taken to the back...which didn't look clean, they had cheap pleather tv room chairs with a throw rug and a stool to put your feet on. All of the staff were eating their lunches, in the front and it stunk like salami and indian food. Besides eating they were all dressed in sweatpants, and loungewear, not sure if it was wear your ugliest clothes to work day or what. They looked incredibly unprofessional. The girl that did my polish was nice enough, but she did one coat of colour. I should have mentioned it.... When I left I asked the girl at the till, how many coats on toes, she said two...I said I got one, she said...was it thick? Um no. Anyway, this is very close to where I live and I would love to shop local, but local will not be here. read more
