I am a long-time LUSH customer for over 15 years. Their products are top-notch. Normally I don't enjoy going into the stores because the sales people are too on top of you and aggressive so I grab my usual and bail. However, this location was so nice because the lovely guy who helped me wasn't pushy or overbearing. We had a nice conversation about what products I like and he made a wonderful suggestion when they were out of the mask I wanted. I was given space but was attended to if needed. That was SO refreshing. The customer service at this location was fantastic. And I found multiple new products that I love. More of this please, LUSH! I will now be a regular at the Annapolis Mall location because it was the most relaxed experience of any LUSH store I've experienced (and I've visited many across the US). read more

I missed this place. The manager Colleen was so knowledgeable and friendly. I can't say that about the cashier who didn't seem to happy when I asked her to check the price of an item. Despite that attitude, I had a positive experience. The store is small so they can only let so many people in at one time. They also ask that you use their hand sanitizer stationed at the entrance, before you go in. Alao, there is a mask mandate so keep your mask on! We don't have this store in Hawaii anymore, so I was happy to find one back in the States. Had to get my Ocean Salt body scrub and Dark Angel's face cleanser. Also picked up a bath bomb...I think it's a snowman. Either way, I was happy. Nice Christmas gift for me. Wish Lush would come back to Oahu. Maybe one day.... read more

Plug your nose if you're within a 5 mile radius and walk really fast passed the Lush store! If this is you...I know exactly how you feel. But then my world was turned upside down and my friend gave me a gift box from Lush. I cringed as I opened the cute cardboard packaging because my nose knew where it was from before I saw any resemblance of Lush markings. If my friend gave it to me then it can't be all that bad, right? Right! It's all natural. Who knew. When I threw one of those bubble bath fizz balls in the bathtub I had the most luxurious water with moisturizing beads to make my skin all soft. It had fun colors and no strong overwhelming scent. I was in Lush heaven. I was so sad when my box of fun ran out and had to head to the store to see if I could get more. The soaps run on the pricier side compared to a boring 1000 year old ivory bar but Lush is no ivory. This is the kind of stuff that you love to receive as a present but can't really justify spend the money for daily use. But I do splurge on bath fizz balls and the raw face masks. Seaweed calming balancing masks only last 3 weeks in the fridge and make me use them regularly because I don't want to throw any away. I love it. Totally relaxing. So I realize that I may not be able to work in Lush with 8 hours worth of scents but I can definitely handle the natural smells to grab a few pieces of Lush. read more

During a random trip to Annapolis Mall I followed my nose to the wonderful scents permeating from Lush. I am a huge fan of handmade, organic/natural products and this place did not disappoint in terms of the variety and quality of products. My friend and I walked in and were greeted warmly by the staff and even taken on a "Scent Tour" (I made this term up, I'm not even sure if it is regular practice but it was an amazing experience.) I was shown and allowed to test all of the products which were similar to my favorite smells and textures. I tried many delicious smelling soaps and settled on two chunks of soap and a lovely textured solid lotion which made my skin feel tingly and soft. My favorite was the Magnificent Soap, which is pretty much self-explanatory. Delightful scents of citrus and mango pressed into the perfect soapy package. Makes a very good lather and is made with coconut oil instead of soybean oil. I have a soy allergy so this was a crucial point for me. I also purchased the "Sexy Peal" chunk, which had a lovely lemony fresh smell. I nearly purchased "Honey I Washed the Kids" soap. It smells just like caramel. Yum! The "Hottie" Massage Bar was the favorite of all of my purchases. It is a solid bar of lotion with massaging ridges on one side. Smells like Ginger and is supposed to be for sore muscles but I use it as a daily moisturizer. You could easily walk in here and spend upwards of $100, so the products aren't want I would label as "bargain." However, the quality is superior and there are different price points for the soaps. I purchased a $20 and $15 chunk of soap, but you can purchase it according to weight also (you tell them how much you want and they will weigh it, cut it and wrap it for you.) I think this is a fun place to stop by if you have a little time (and money) to kill while in Annapolis mall. I certainly hope they will put a Lush somewhere in D.C. or in the National Harbor so that it is right in my backyard. I LOVE this place! I'm a huge fan of handmade soaps, and this is my go-to place for them. In fact, I ONLY use handmade soaps in the shower, so this place is rather convenient. The bad points are only A) The company's logo is unappealing, I'd miss the store if I didn't know what it was because the sign reminds me of an As Seen on TV logo. That, and everything here is very expensive. That said, everything they sell smells amazing. I haven't used the highly-touted bath bombs; they market them well, often in neat little shapes you can't help but look at and touch, but I don't take many baths (shower person here), so I can't bring myself to spend $5-$10 on a bath bomb. The soap costs me about $15 for 5oz, and lasts about a month. I also use a facial moisturizer I bought there for about $35. It works pretty well. :) read more

I'm a huge fan of lush and lush products. This store smells heavenly whenever you walk past. Their products are mostly all natural and handmade and some are actually vegan. I love their bath bombs. ( the sex bomb is my favorite). The people there are very knowledgeable about the product and are super friendly. I've never had a bad experience when stopping in. The products are a bit pricey, but are worth the splurge to do something good for your body. read more

I love this wonderful store. All the the employees are knowledgeable with what is in each and every item. If you walk in and tell them what you like they will find 4 or 5 products that you will love. I personally love the bath bombs and the bubble bars cocktails. I have used everything there from the soap, hair care to skin care. My favorite tip for knitter is to get a lotion bar and use it on your hands before yous start to knit. It will make your project smell extra good! read more

I went to this location to return products I did not like. When the associate with the hair that looks like a smurf took a crap on it (yes it was blue) asked why was I returning it I explained that I didn't like it and it didn't live up to my expectations. Now the last time I checked this is a free country and I am allowed to have an opinion about something. I told her that I felt the products did not work for me and she proceeded to tell me that Lush products are natural and maybe that's something I'm just not used to...Bit** PLEASE. Don't be rude because I didn't like something your store had. Deal with it...That's just the nature of the beast...You work in retail. I kid you not when I say I have shopped at Mall Lush since before I can remember! I have yet to be left unsatisfied with my customer service! Especially as of late, I have become increasingly more impressed with the charisma, product knowledge, and organization. Let's talk about some pros. -Incredibly experienced Manager, Colleen, knows everything about every product in the store, and can help you find any kind of gift for any price range with EASE, and sets an amazing example for her employees with her constantly flawless approach to customers and tasking. -Long-standing staff members are a BLAST. I could sit here and name names about each and every consistent staff member that just hits it out of the park for me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. but that would bulk the review far too much. Long story short, I am very impressed with this team. -Staff remember my name, things about my friends and family I shop for, and most importantly: MY ALLERGIES! Every time a new product comes out, one of the staff members that has seen me at least a couple times will remember that I cannot have any contact with a select few fruits (mostly because I never shut up about it), and will make sure I know which new products to avoid! -Staff is VERY empathetic to other mall employees (such as myself) for holiday season stress, and always have AMAZING suggestions for something new to try in order to help deal with said stress! (Talk about a positive upsell!) -My absolute favorite staff member, Heather, always remembers what my weeks have been like, what's going on in the lives of my friends and family, and how I liked products MONTHS after I hardly mentioned it! This woman is a GOD-SEND to this location! Every time I walk by and see her on staff, I just HAVE to pop in and see if she has any suggestions for me. She has not ONCE, in the entire time I have shopped at this location, given me a single bad piece of lush product advice. She is my go-to for all of my gift sets and seasonal purchases! You are going to have an amazing trip if she is there! Go Heather! -This point is not as important to me, but it is very much worth noting for those who are less patient than I: The entire staff is very quick to assemble a variety of options for you regardless of how specific or broad your wishlist is. They are always ready for everything you bring in. The ease at which they assemble options for customers who may not even have any idea what they're looking for is ASTOUNDING to me. As someone who works in retail, I can vouch that that kind of employee is few and far between, yet, Annapolis Mall Lush staff is entirely comprised of them. So, moving on from the pros, lets hit the very VERY short list of cons. -Because the store is so wonderful, you will often find yourself spending a lot more money than you had anticipated, especially since their selection is so broad, and their atmosphere so enticing! -Because this is the Westfield Annapolis Mall, you gotta know that weekends are going to be PACKED to the DOOR. If you are planning on making a weekend visit, please be patient with the line! The store is only big enough to fit two registers! -Around certain times of year, large masses of stock are just completely sold out, but this is no fault of the store itself, just the inconsistent shopper-base that is the Annapolis area. One day something wont sell, the next it sells out. The same goes for every store in the mall! Trust me! All in all, I cannot give this store anything under a 5 star rating. Every time I go to the mall I stop in Lush just to smell all the soaps and never have bought anything until my last visit a week ago and now I'm hooked. The last time I went there was this really friendly lady that was all HEEEELLLOOOOOOOOOO! So I was HELLLLLLLLOOOOOO back to her and I think she got a little frightened. Anyway, everyone in this store pretty much knows everything and will demonstrate most of their products. One of my best friends asked me if it was bad that he was registering at Lush for his wedding, after buying a basket of handsome smelling goodies. Have been coming here since Lush opened at the mall and I frequent here at least once a month- my fiance comes here even more than I do! Typically we have a great experience with the products and staff. I just left there after one of your consultants was inconsiderate and rude- do not know her name but she was tall, blonde and had black-rimmed glasses. This review does not reflect the store itself, rather the employee who decided to act this way toward me. All of your other consultants have always been fantastic! After repeated visits to Lush's website over the course of a couple of months, I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase some henna and Dark Angels scrub. While I was initially just going to place an online order, I decided that I had the time to drive to Annapolis and get my stuff that day. Unfortunately, I walked into the tiny store at a busy time. I wasn't greeted when I came in, but I didn't think too much on it right then because everyone was working with a customer. A few minutes later when the store was no less busy, someone else came in and was greeted. Normally something like that would have sent me right back out the door, but I drove 25 minutes specifically to come to this store so I wasn't about to just leave empty handed. I wandered around for a little bit and stared at the shelves, and eventually found the henna that I came for, and a few other items that I liked. I never found the Dark Angels. During this time, I walked by several employees who weren't helping customers who never acknowledged me at all or asked if I needed help, and one guy even stood between me and the shelves while he was helping someone else. I even said "I'm trying to see around you" and smiled at him and he DID NOT SHIFT an inch. Wow. When I'd picked up enough, I went and stood in line and finally encountered a smiling face at the cash register. I told her that I couldn't find Dark Angels and she told me that they were making containers of it right then, asked what size I'd like, and had that guy (whose daddy wasn't a glassmaker) pack it up for me. I felt like this woman had redeemed the experience for me until she asked if I wanted a knot-wrap. I stared at her in confusion as she indicated wraps hanging near the window and then I said the most intelligent thing that came to mind: "Whut?". I didn't recall her offering the wraps to any of the other customers ahead of me. They're made in Africa, I can use it as a headscarf or a bag, she said other things but it went in one dumbfounded ear and out the other. I felt kind of awkward and I really wanted to muster some Black Anger but instead I got one of the wraps and had her bag my purchases in it because it was cute and I like reusable things. Here's what the website says about those wraps, btw (http://www.lushusa.com/gifts/knot-wraps/). Not one mention of them being made by disadvantaged women in Africa. I ended up spending a little over $80 and it was all worth every penny. If I could rate the products separately, they'd get five stars. I'm happy with every single item that I purchased and look forward to treating myself with more Lush products in the future. Even. Another. Wrap. But the employees at this location left me feeling strange and questioning whether it was intentional or not. Next time I'll visit the Bethesda store instead. read more

I LOVE Lush products! However...in this location the salespeople are WAY too aggressive. This location is VERY small compared to the location that I usually shop (Dallas, Tx). If a customer says, "I'm just looking..." DON'T hound them with questions! LET THEM LOOK! I was approached by numerous sales people during my 20 min visit, and they were all way too aggressive. I'm not talking about the "you doing ok?" Question, I mean many questions about your fav products, what you want, etc. One even stood in front of a display that I was trying to look at. I tried to give a subtle hint by reaching behind her for a product, instead of being rude and saying "MOVE!" but she just stood there. I ended up only buying the 1 item I was out of, but I was willing/wanting to buy more. I worked in retail for many years, and usually am sympathetic to salespeople, but this was WAY too much. I went in for some bath bombs, the lady was so sweet I loved her I wish I would have gotten her name, but I just had surgery and I was on crutches and she had me take a seat and she got so many different bombs for me and she even demonstrated one for me. You would be surprised how many people treat you badly when you're on crutches/in a wheel chair. No one goes out of their way anymore and this lady went above and beyond I loved it read more
