No receptionist so my manicure took a long time due to numerous interruptions when she answered the phone. Long wait times (appointments did not start/end in timely fashion). Skill with nail art designs were below par. If you are from out-of-town this is a decent place to go but don't expect it to be a hidden gem. If you are local maybe keep looking. read more

Our nail techs were super great! We had a bit of a reserve walking in because the gentleman first told us that b/c we didnt have an appt they could only take one of. The older women w/the glasses was trying to change his mind. So we decided on just pedis. A few minutes later about 5 more staff members arrived and they were all really friendly. They told us they definitly have time for manicures. That really turned around our "unwelcomed" feeling the first guy gave us. We chatted casually and enjoyed the rest ofour time there. Had a fun time getting a pedicure. After riding motorcycles over 1400 miles over 5 days there is nothing better than a good pedicure. The ladies were surprised to see two straight men walk in to get super pedicures. I would go again. read more

I came in at 7:30 to get prom nails and when they put the nails on they didn't even ask how long I wanted them they just started cutting them. So I asked to make it longer and she said it would be 5 dollars to take it off and make it longer. So she proceeded to make the rest longer then the one she already cut and when she put the acrylic on the side of my actual nail was still hanging out and I told her and she said she still had to shape it. Needless to say it was still hanging out. Never again read more

If I could give zero stars I would my first time was great except for the color was much darker than I expected my second time was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon they upped charged me $10 because they supposedly had to shave my nails when they didn't my nails had already been shipped from the time before I didn't get extensions I just got a regular S&S job then one of the employees insisted on arguing with me about colors and told me that I know nothing about nails then I said that I will not ever be returning and he said good I do not ever want to see you I was very disappointed and walked out with my nails looking pretty awful I will never be coming back here Tess again. Felicia is awesome! Been going to her for over 3 years. Her place is beautiful and she is a pro. I would recommend her or her husband. He is fantastic as well. I have gone to him when she is unavailable. I do recommend an appointment for either one of them. There is a wait at times, but they are so friendly you do not mind the wait. Just bring in a drink and play games on your phone or read a magazine. Everyone speaks fluent English, they speak to you and treat you with respect. While visiting the Daytona Beach area, I went to Luscious Nails. This is the best salon I've ever been to and I've been getting pedicures for years. I believe the young man's name was Wayne or Wade. He is awesome and I'd go there again and specifically ask for him without any hesitation.(I've never had such a great massage.) This place is clean, great atmosphere, extremely reasonably priced and the friendliest staff. I was so impressed that I not only got a pedicure, I also got a manicure! We visited this business while on a weekend getaway. We went to this place based on the Yelp reviews it has received. This salon was extremely busy and is small. As a result, it was very loud and seemed very disorganized. My wife and I waited about twenty minutes for our pedicure. I had a female doing my pedicure. She was very rushed, was unable to get the foot tub to work properly and interrupted my service four different times until the owner came over and fixed the issue. She did a poor job on my feet from the cutting of my toe nails, to the removing of the dead skin from the bottom of my feet. I am not sure if she was new or just not having a good day. I was not pleased at all with her service. The scrub and leg massage afterwards was basically nonexistent. She paid no attention to detail nor did she show any interest of trying to do a good job. My wife had a male nail tech. He did an amazing job on my wife. He was very detailed oriented, and ensured she was happy throughout her service. He did an amazing job on the bottom of her feet, the leg scrub and massage was amazing. Her service lasted quite a bit longer than mine and we basically started at the same time. Her nail tech took the time to make sure he took the time to do the service right and ensure it was done to her satisfaction. He was extremely nice and spoke to my wife throughout the service. My nail tech did not say one word to me. My nail tech gets a one star, my wife's nail tech gets 5 stars. read more

Even if you mess up a nail on your way out; they won't let you leave disappointed and insist on fixing it. They take pride in their work and you can tell. I want to start by saying that I have been a customer at this salon for 3-4yrs now and after my recent experience I will not be returning again. Making an appointment at Luscious is pointless because they are never granted, the usual wait time is about 30mins-1hr prior to getting your nails done, but because Amy and Felicia do a good job I have continued to return. I recently made a 5:00pm appointment to get my Mani with owner Felicia and Pedi with Amy, when I showed up for my appointment at 4:50pm (after driving in the rain straight after work to make it on time) I immediately get informed by owner Felicia that my Mani appointment will not be granted and my Mani will not be able to be done because they are very busy and running behind. I am also informed by Felicia that I can have my Pedi done "if I want to" but it's going to be a long wait because Amy just started with someone else's Pedi and still has their Mani left to do. I am in shock of the lack of customer service that Felicia provided, she was in no way shape or form apologetic for canceling on me and was very rude about it. I am honestly appalled and wonder how she even thinks this type of customer is acceptable. If appointments cannot be granted then maybe a call or a text should have been done, instead of waiting until the customer shows up. Or maybe not make appointments at all! This is completely unacceptable, and needless to say I walked out. I had to run around town to get my nails done last minute elsewhere, because I had plans the next day and needed my nails done. Needless to say, I, along with 2 other friends that go here will never be returning again, and will ensure to warn anyone else who goes. We went to this salon based on yelp reviews. First, everyone was pleasant. But the customers were trashy & the place was dirty. The only reason we stayed is because they bleached the pedi tubs & had sealed tools for filing, etc. and it was reasonably priced. I would recommend to go somewhere else. Been a few times now and they are very friendly but the overall nail painting isn't something I've ever experienced before. I've had bubbles in my polish and pointed it out and was told it wouldn't stay and it has. Been cut numerous times by one girl who does nails (Amy) if they get busy they almost will rush painting your nails to accommodate for regulars (although I've been going more than a few times) and I've had old polish on the sides of my finger even after they had finished putting on my new polish once I had left. Also have had my nails not look clean once leaving might as well paint them at home. Won't be coming back! Tried giving numerous chances and even had different people do my nails every time. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! Soooo I am from Maryland. I visited this nail salon while in Daytona Beach for my daughters cheer competition. I only visited this nail salon because their reviews were great. My intent was to get an Acrylic Fill-In and a Polish Change for myself and my daughter. She and I walked in and was immediately greeted. I mentioned to them the services that I'd planned on receiving. I hate to mention the fact that I am black, but my color had a huge part to play. As I waited 20 minutes, a white young lady walked in and asked how long would her wait be, they mentioned that her wait would only be 20 minutes. Sitting patiently, I wanted to wait and watch to see if they would take her before me. 10 min later, they certainly told her that she could sit in one of the pedicure chairs. Luckily, she declined as she was waiting on a friend. So since the chairs were free, my daughter and I sat in the chairs. We were still not acknowledged. So after 10 minutes of sitting in the nail chairs, finally an older lady walked over to start my Polish Change on my feet. As she started to polish my feet, one of my toenails were crooked, I asked her to file it but she didn't understand what I was saying, so I asked another young woman to translate it for me. She was able to fix my toenail, then she went to add a bit more polish on that same toe and literally left a GLOB of polish in one spot. I asked her to smoothen it out. She told me that someone else would do it and took all of the polish off my feet and got up and walked away. She failed to communicate with another nail tech that I needed help, so I asked a gentleman who had nobody sitting at his chair, to polish my feet. He told me that I spoke to the two people who didn't speak English. I mentioned to him that I did not know that and I am not from this area. I spoke to them because nobody else spoke to me so I needed to get someone's attention. Once he was close to finishing my feet, they were still poorly done. I told him that it is okay and I will just pay and leave. He got up, walked away and spoke with another nail tech. That young lady asked me if I was satisfied and I told her that I am not. She insisted on helping me. So FINALLY, a THIRD person walked over to help me with a POLISH CHANGE. I asked her to take off what the gentleman had done because it wasnt good, she told me no I just need another coat. She polished over what he did and was done. I was finally satisfied with my feet, a bit disappointed because she couldn't take the time to wipe off what the guy had done, but at least my feet were done better. I paid AND tipped the lady...why did I tip? Because I wanted to show them that not all black people are belligerent and will leave a tip, even if the tip wasn't deserved. I was patient and polite because that is who I am BUT I WILL NEVER VISIT THEM EVER AGAIN and I RECOMMEND YOU TO NEVER GO THERE! Oh and by the way, my daughter never got her services done, and my nails still weren't done. It took 3 nail techs and an hour for a Polish Change. read more
