Checking was easy and prompt, I had made an appointment earlier in the day... I would like to get to where I have a regular person here for my services, and I may have found them today! I tend to like to just relax when I'm getting my nails done, no offense but I don't like to chat and have that whole conversation thing. So I got two technicians today that were perfect! First was Will, I got a pedicure with regular paint. Very gentle kept checking to make sure all was well gave a really good massage very thorough painted my nails beautifully. I would like to figure out how to have a little longer soak in a little hotter water, so I need to figure out what to ask for to make that happen but other than that it was perfect. Then I got builder gel with very short tips for the first time, with Terry. They couldn't be any more perfect than they came out! Exactly what I wanted. I was going to say no polish on the top but he showed me a clear tiny bit tinted top and I agreed. I want to go out my real nails, and this will get me on my way. I like that I could relax and let them do what they do so well, without having to make small talk.. outside of checking in to make sure I'm okay and that what they were doing was good. I appreciated the relaxing me time. I will be back in 3 to 4 weeks. And I'm going to look for Will and Terry for sure! Thank you for the excellent service beautiful clean salon, very welcoming.

So a gentleman friend of mine decided he wanted to treat me to a wax as a belated birthday present. I have never had one and felt that it was not only wanted, but necessary. (In other words, I had a forest growing with bushes and tumble weeds.) He told me to find somewhere and tell him how much it cost. I didn't have to look at all! Of course I'm going to one of my most favorite people in the world with all the knowledge and passion for what she does. Now as her friend I was comfortable but still embarrassed. Don't ask me why. Maybe because I knew my who-ha would be in the air and that's a bit outside the norm. But of course, I know Crystal is the absolute professional. She has goodies, beautiful decor, neatly labeled supplies, sterilized tools, clean floors, signage, price lists and products for sale. Clean. Painless. Professional. Easy. Pleasant. Quick; not rushed, but efficient. Knowledgeable. Affordable. That's pretty much all you need to know. Very cute and quaint studio. Simple and easy. Refer a friend or two. Support small businesses. You'll never go to European Wax Center again, I promise.

I had been a customer for years 4 plus and thought that I should have been made aware of the move but was not. I had purchased waxing services by the year and paid $540 upfront. This has been the case for years prior. Crystal had always gone red my services until now. I had several waxes left when she moved but was informed that my waxing contract expired. After reading the contract it is true it had expired but how unprofessional to have not given me a courtesy reminder prior to the expiration or moving towns. I randomly went to book a wax in September last year and seen the address had changed. I text her to inquire about the move and she responded by confirming the move stating she had just reopened. Unfortunately the vibe of excellent customer service is gone. All the five star reviews from Stockton should be removed as it gives customers a false impression. Make sure you read reviews for new Modesto location! I can no longer recommend this business.
