I felt they were very unprofessional. They canceled my appointment on their end with less than 24 hour notice. A costumer is not allowed to do that but apparently they can. It took a week to rebook me. Once I was seen though it was lovely. The bedding was nice quality and the products smell great. I was a little taken aback that the decor is religious but it was still very tasteful. Edited to add cause I can not figure out how respond to comment left by owner. I am 100% sure it was the owner and not a previous staff member!!! She bailed on me claiming you she had last minute cardiologist appointment for her son. Excellent. I would give more than 5 stars. I went for my second Brazilian I've ever had. The first time I went to European wax center and it hurt so bad. The wax Brenda used was so much better and the way she did it hurt way less. She made me feel comfortable and educated me. Her prices are slightly higher but it's worth it she uses better products and I was relived I found someone that does a good job with less pain. I am in my late forties. I have two kids and am experiencing the dreaded menopause along with all the wonderful things that accompany it. The most embarrassing being bladder issues when coughing, sneezing or laughing. Through a friend I learned about vaginal rejuvenation. This has been awhile since my 3/3 visit of my groupon. But I come in for my appt and was sitting in the waiting area for an hour. I heard her in the back with a client casually chatting. No one in the front, no signage, not even sure why the hell i waited so long. I finally get taken back and she tells me she got there late so all her appt got pushed back. I mean how were there problems with all 3 of my appointments. 1 time maybe. But all 3? I didnt even get a phone call things were pushed or did she excuse herself to inform me of what was happening. I came here to get waxes because skintastic was the only place that waxed men head to toe, I've gotten couple of waxes here with Brenda, I've always got to my appointments on time except one time where I ran kinda late because I scheduled a haircut appointment first and my waxing appointment after and I was 20+ minutes late but brenda still took me and didn't have me reschedule which was great! Reason why I'm giving one star is because I had an appointment on June 29th at 11 but I had to miss my appointment because I had family come visit unexpectedly so Brenda texted me saying I was a no show and there will be a fee for not showing up and I was like that's fine all I wanted to do is reschedule for another day and she never got back to me ever since! I've waited to write my review so I could give a very honest review. I have been going to Brenda for 6+ months now. My very first appointment was underarm wax. I was nervous, has I have given myself an underarm wax and had poor (and painful) results. Brenda was amazing. Although it was not pain free, she made me very comfortable and it was quick with less than two seconds of pain after each wax pull. NOT KIDDING ABOUT THAT PAIN! She went over ingrown hair issues with me and skin care issues with me. I felt great afterwards and set another appointment. Next appointment was underarms again and my second ever BRAZILIAN wax!! First one was done 3 years before, at a very known place in Modesto, that was a horrible experience and very painful. Although there was slight pain, Brenda was amazing. I held my breath and waited for the ripping of the wax, and it was almost nothing. The quick pull and 2 seconds of slight pfain feeling, and DONE! Onto the next strip. It was quick and almost pain free. She went over aftercare and questions I had. I made my next appointment and was very comfortable and content with her services. After my second Brazilian with Brenda, I made ongoing appointments for them, every 3+ weeks. I am happy with Brenda's services and have done facials, massages, contouring, and waxes with her. I got eyelash extensions today by Jamie. Let me tell you, she did amazing! It was my first time ever getting them done, but they look so natural and big and beautiful! I could tell that she loves her work in the way she made sure that everything was in place and she paid attention to detail every step of the way. In terms of overall experience, it was good. But in terms of the actual waxing, I was disappointed... Pros: - I went for my second Brazilian wax ever (because of a groupon) and it was definitely much less painful and I felt more at ease. This might be cause it's my second time or Brenda is more gentle. Cons: - However, there was definitely a lot of hair that was left behind. The first place I went to got all my hair and even plucked the ones that couldn't be waxed so I was hairless and that is the whole reason to get a wax... so I was kind of disappointed but at least I didn't pay a full price for a wax so I brushed it off. I didn't even notice how much hair was left until later so I didn't bring it up while I was there. Not sure whether I'll go back. Perhaps if I'm in the area and the groupon is still up since it was fairly cheap but I'll make sure to point out any details that were overlooked! read more

Ive had two facials here and they were ok, nothing amazing. This place is expensive so I wanted to try them by using a Groupon before paying full price. I was disappointed that most of the facials do not include extractions , that's a $40 add on. I wouldn't recommend Skintastic based on the prices and because of the hiccups with my appointments. I've been very accommodating regarding appointments even though I was asked to push my first appointment back a few hours the morning of, my second appointment Brenda was running 30 minuets behind, now my third appointment was canceled via text the evening before. I understand that people get sick and maybe the owner is short staffed but I've have issues every time I've had an appointment. I just want to be treated like my time is respected. Ive decided I won't be returning even though I have one facial left out of the pack of 3 I purchased. I was going to reschedule but it looks like all through September and October are blocked out for weekends. Disappointing considering my Saturday appointment was canceled the evening before now I can't get a weekend appointment. If they aren't taking weekend appointments anymore then I would have to find a babysitter to get a weekday appointment. Why inconvenience myself with that just to go back to a business where I feel disappointed & awkward and wouldn't be able to enjoy my facial anyway.
