The restaurant is extremely clean and the service is excellent.

The service was very good, and the restaurant is clean. Ingredients were fresh. I ordered the chicken quesadillas which were disappointing. The fajitas were very small actually charged extra for additional tortillas. Avocado and sour cream was extra which was disappointing. Menu said the chicken fajitas for $16, I was charged almost $20. And the bill was extremely high for what you were given in a lunch menu. I would recommend other Mexican restaurants in the area before this one.

Reading the reviews comparing Lupita's to Bien Trucha is ridic'. Two different neighborhoods and clienteles. The service here blows away BTs by far. Attentive but not overbearing. The food while not as innovative, is both succulent and flavorful. The margaritas are also flavorful and well made. Try the Kiwi and Guayaba. Not to be missed. If you're looking for trendy, stick to BT. If you're looking for a mouthful and solid food and margaritas, come to Lupita's.

Great tacos. I've tried many items on the menu- all good. During the summer, I've sat on the patio, and the outdoor seating is a plus.

Just had dinner here. Just great Mexican food--nothing "burn-your-mouth" hot. Great Mexican flavors. Great service.

Been going to El Puente for many many years and have never been disappointed. Back in the 1970's…read morethe owner, Jesse, had a place called Longy's in Lombard that we often ate at with my parents....I digress. We usually go to El Puente for lunch and enjoy a special off the "lunch menu" but the regular menu is quite extensive with many delicious choices. They keep the complimentary chips and salsa coming, chips are nice and thin, not greasy and the 2 salsas are quite tasty. Food is always fresh and filling, can't beat the service as they always have a smile and make sure you're happy with everything. El Puente is a old fashioned Mexican restaurant with good food, friendly service and fare prices!

Don't waste your time on asking for salsa verde because it tastes like nothing. The queso fundido is good but gets dry and hard fast. It's not very cheesy and melty like others I've had. Don't waste your time on the guac either, it's just mashed avocado. It needs some seasoning or spice or lime at minimum. And the chicken fajita's are absolutely awful. It was so disappointing. They have a very sweet and almost bbq-like taste. Also, you really don't get much chicken even. It's mostly just onions and peppers. I had to spit them out. The rice is good though. I'd some back for drinks and chips & salsa but that would really be it. The server was good and attentive and the restaurant was decorated for Valentine's Day. It was cute. We went around 2:30pm and it was not busy.

Great views of Third Street in Geneva. Enter the main building door on Third and go straight to the staircase (on your left). Our waitress (and all the staff) were incredibly friendly. We ordered margaritas to start which were well made and generous with the pour. Additionally, we started with an order of Chips & Salsa. The salsa is a bit different in consistency but excellent flavor. When our food arrived, we were excited by the presentation - we all know, however, that what counts is the taste. Make no mistake, this delivered. The meat was of high quality and superb flavor. We were pleasantly surprised to have found such a great restaurant and meal on a whim. Highly recommend making the stop here for an excellent meal, friendly service and unique ambiance!

We came Saturday at lunchtime and the place was pretty empty which was perfect. The menu is pretty simple: tacos, fajitas, and burritos. I had the steak tacos which came with three tacos and a side. The tacos were filling and tasted great. Same goes for the esquites. Service was good and prices are pretty fair too. Overall nothing big makes this place stand apart but fit the bill for a quiet, casual lunch.

The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying, and it made for a really special birthday dinner. We also enjoyed a birthday cake dessert, which was delicious and the perfect way to finish the meal! The waiter was very nice and helpful. We were seated outside around 7:30 PM, and the live music created a nice atmosphere. After being seated, our server brought chips and dip and took our drink orders. My children's drinks and my husband's drink arrived fairly quickly, but I waited quite a while for my drink. The server returned to take the adults' meal orders before my drink arrived, but did not ask for the children's orders and left the table. About an hour into our visit, we still had not received our food. When the children's meals finally arrived, one of the meals was not the cheeseburger that had been ordered. The server stated that a different kids' burger had been ordered and then took the food away. Shortly afterward, the adults' meals arrived. My parents, who joined us later, received their food soon after. While we appreciated being seated earlier than expected and enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere, the service was slow, there appeared to be confusion regarding the children's order, and the overall dining experience took much longer than anticipated. We were done by 910pm
