Whenever I think of going somewhere a little closer to my home, I decide that with the price of a pedicure these days, I might as well go to this consistent and reliable salon. I no longer get my fingernails done but I was always pleased when I did, granted, I never asked for creative designs or anything elaborate. Now I primarily go for pedicures. They have several different options to choose from at different price points but they are all very reasonable, especially for the service you get! I used to think the jelly pedicure sounded silly but I suddenly felt drawn to it and I'm glad I gave it a try because it is soooo good! The powder dissolves in water and as you stir your feet around it turns into this thick, warm gel that is really satisfying. I was so disappointed when it was time to drain. Again, I don't do anything fancy on my nails, but the paint job is always consistent. The massages are generous, the chairs are comfortable, they offer complementary beverages (including alcohol, if that's your thing), and the staff are very sweet. It's a modern and upscale looking salon that is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and in a convenient location. I will keep going back! PS: one of the last times I actually had my nails done was for my wedding November of 2024, and they were absolutely flawless. I've been getting my nails done every 4-5 weeks with building gel on my natural nails -- no extensions, no drastic changes. The only filing/cutting done is to maintain their regular length. On my most recent visit, I was hit with a $10 upcharge simply for filing my nails shorter, which has never been an issue before. When I questioned it, I was told the tech uses a "guide finger" to determine length, which wasn't what actually happened. It felt arbitrary and like nickel-and-diming rather than a clearly communicated service charge. I did try to have a conversation with the front desk, but the explanation didn't match the service I received. For the prices they already charge, these surprise add-ons are disappointing. I don't mind paying for quality -- but I do mind unclear pricing and being charged extra for basic maintenance I've always received. Sadly, because of this, I won't be returning.
