My daughter was recently in an accident with her Honda Accord and Lundgren was one of the body shops that the insurance company recommended.

I just went on and for local vehicles I had 16 to choose from. They have all the good cars in Charlotte, Atlanta, Texas, etc. It seems like lately you have to get everything delivered because nothing good is on site, or maybe that's what they say so they can charge delivery fees, I don't know. The people that work there are nice, especially Sherry, she always takes great care of me, but as far as getting anything decent, good luck! They hardly ever prep the cars and they usually smell like cigarettes and are all dented and have extensive damage, at least that's been my experience over the last 13 months.

I am currently in a dispute with Flexcar over two reimbursements: the first for a rental I had to get from another agency when a Flexcar rental broke down due to an oil pan crack that spread from vibration on a long road trip and another for the $704 monthly rental fee billed to me nearly a month after the car was TOWED to their facility. In regards to the breakdown from the oil pan crack, I had taken the vehicle into their facility due to oil leaking in the driveway. I was told the vehicle wasn't leaking oil, that the cap on top of the reservoir wasn't sealed correctly and oil was "blowing out the top when the car heated up" which as a girl with a father who is a Mechanic is a load of BS. I then mentioned a upcoming road trip from Tennessee to Georgia as part of an ongoing move and said my concern was that I would be stranded as a woman alone if the car broke down along the way in a rural area. I again was assured this would be fine. Sure enough, the car went into EPC mode and stopped 15 miles outside of any city. With the help of good Samaritans, I was able to get the car to a mechanic who informed me the car was not drivable. Upon calling Flexcar, they said they initially offered NO assistance and also said "we do not tow more than 150 miles." It wasn't until I was balling on the phone and became irate at the fact I was stranded 3 hours away from home by myself that they offered a $50 Lyft credit and said they would tow the car back to their facility. Ultimately, it was the Mechanic at the location - not Flexcar - who helped me in my search for rental car, which I had to uber 30 minutes to, drive 30 minutes back and transfer all of my suitcases/boxes before heading home. After fighting with Flexcar, they agreed to reimburse the rental which I have now been going back and forth with them on for WEEKS with no payment. In regards to the $704 monthly rental, I received a notice 5 days prior to the draft from my account that my rental would be renewing on the 15th. I immediately reached out stating this vehicle was TOWED to them weeks prior and closed. I was told this would be taken care of and I would not be charged, but low and behold, I was charged. I've now been sending multiple emails a day and calling Flexcar who have yet to make this right. Do not seek services from this company, and definitely do not provide them access to any of your banking/credit accounts. I wish I wouldn't have.

They beat my bank's interest rate. When I returned a week or so later for a minor adjustment to my tire pressure, everybody was nice, and the issue was fixed quickly. This review outlines my severe disappointment and loss of trust in Lundgren, a dealership I've…read moreconsistently chosen for vehicle purchases and service since 2006. The decline in service quality and integrity is deeply concerning. My negative experiences began a little over 2 years ago with my wife's Honda CRV. Lundgren advised a rear bushing replacement and a sway bar replacement, claiming the latter was cracked. However, a second opinion from another mechanic revealed the sway bar was not cracked, directly contradicting Lundgren's assessment. This incident immediately raised doubts about the accuracy of Lundgren's diagnoses. The most significant issue involves my 2016 Honda Civic's recurring AC problems. Since I have purchased the car from Lundgren I have not had a reliably working AC. Despite multiple attempts by Lundgren to fix it, it consistently failed not long after repair. On the fourth and final visit (see attached work order 05/02/2022), Lundgren's diagnosis, based on "specialized Honda AC diagnostic equipment," was a leaking evaporator core. This diagnosis cost me over $400, with an estimated repair bill of an additional $2,000. Due to the car's ongoing AC issues, I sought assistance from Lundgren and Honda for coverage, but was denied because I already used Hondas "Goodwill" program for a paint issue I had with the car. Due to personal reasons I have gone 3 summers without a working AC in the car. Recently, I took the Civic to an independent, certified mechanic to address this issue. This mechanic found no issue with the evaporator core. Instead, they identified that the lines going into the condenser appeared to be improperly connected or damaged (possibly intentionally cut) and also located leaks in the lines leading to the firewall. After replacing these lines, the AC has been fully functional for over four weeks, at a significantly lower cost than Lundgren's estimate. This experience clearly demonstrates a serious misdiagnosis by Lundgren, leading to an unwarranted $400 charge and a proposed $2,000 repair for a problem that didn't exist. Beyond these critical mechanical failures, I've observed a noticeable decline in Lundgren's overall customer service. A minor yet irritating example is the high-mileage oil change discount. Previously, this discount was proactively offered; now, (at least in my experience) customers must specifically request it. Even when requested, I've been incorrectly charged and forced to seek refunds for the difference. These accumulated issues, from significant misdiagnoses to a general decline in customer service, have completely eroded my trust in Lundgren. The dealership no longer upholds the standards I've come to expect over my nearly two decades as a customer. I am deeply disappointed by these experiences and the financial implications they've caused.

It boggles my mind that if you make an appointment for an oil change that it takes over an hour to complete. My appointment was for 7am it is now 8:25am and I am still waiting. I could likely look up a video on YouTube.com on how to do and oil change, watch it 5 times and still get it done faster! What is more alarming is this is not the first time this has happened. It happens every single time! If my lease didn't provide oil changes I would never come to this service department. EVER! I will consider the service team when I am looking to release. I purchased a 2021 GMC Acadia Denali from an Arkansas Chevy/GMC dealer and had it shipped to Massachusetts where I live. The car has 45k miles on it in very nice condition and no NE winters. Upon receiving the car the backup/surround vision camera was working intermittently, maybe 50% of the time. Looking the up problem there is a recall for this exact problem. I have purchased a number of cars this way and accept that risk. I made an appointment to have the car looked at to see if it would be covered by the recall. Providing the VIN I was told the recall has already been performed. I still wanted to get the camera repaired so I made the appointment to have the problem diagnosed. The day before the car was to be taken to the dealer I was called to cancel because the service advisor was not going to be available. I misunderstand and thought that the person performing the work was not available, so the appointment was rescheduled. The service advisor is the person that checks the vehicle in, why did my appointment get cancel for that reason? I was quoted $199 to diagnose the problem, (the symptoms are exactly the same as the manufacture recall) so not something totally unique to my car's problem. The car was in the diamond shop for a couple of days and I was informed that the rear camera was the problem and needed to be replaced (quote $521). The repair was approved and the service performed. I picked up the car and the problem was still the same, replacing the rear camera did not resolve the problem. I left the car again for about another 10 days and was called to inform me that they wanted another $600 to continue the diagnostics of the camera system. I declined and picked up the car. I then looked up the parts that were to be replaced as part of the recall repair (GM 86775887 and 86775888). Thinking that those would be a dealer only part and difficult to acquire. To my surprise they are easily available from a number of online vendors, seems that maybe this is not such a unique problem. Next I purchased the two parts from RockAuto and with a few hours of my time fixed the problem for $92.32 (tax and shipping included) by replacing the two cables that were replaced as part of the recall. Seems GM still has quality issues on these cables so replacing them for a 2nd time resolved the problem. I was charged $199 for diags, $521 for a camera that did not need to be replaced, and $17.61 in shop fees and I still had the same problem I brought the car in for and I fixed it myself for less than $93. I am not a mechanic (retired IT) the dealership should have been able to better diagnose this reoccurring problem with this make and model.

After the third time Ian inserted himself into the process we told David that if Ian did so again we were walking out the door. Ian stayed in the back room for 2 more offers while we were negotiating, but just couldn't help himself and came back again. So we got up and left. We would have purchased the car if not for Ian's insistence on butting into the process with his slimy tactics and smarmy demeanor. Just reaching out through text so that you can see everything written out and can look it all over. So the driver side mirror does need to be replaced and the cost would be $532.96 with parts, tax, and labor. Also the tpms light is on because the left rear tpms sensor is not reading and should be replaced along with 4 tires. The tread on all 4 tires is low. The ost to replace all 4 tires with the tpms sensor would be $624.50. Next, as for the horn not working it does need to be replaced and that would be $350. with parts, tax, and labor. The tech found the right front inner and outer tie rods need replacing as they have alot of play, the cost to replace these would be $767 with an alignment afterward. And last the check engine light is on for 2 issues. First is for the mass air flow sensor would need to be replaced $454.47. And lastly, there is a "code of death" for the transmission meaning that the transmission would need to be replaced and the cost of that would be $6365. Please let me know what you'd like to do. And if you'd like to speak to someone from sales to see if trading in the vehicle is an option please let me know that as well! Reply STOP to cancel.
