Luna Tree removed 6 eucalyptus trees from a hill in our back yard today. 10 guys came exactly when they said they would in their helmets, safety gear, and took down six (approx 35-40 year old) eucalyptus trees safely in about 4 hours (unreal)!!! Prompt, professional, fair price for us which included chipping the trees and hauling away the debris. The guys were positive, upbeat, and worked seamlessly together. If this company had actually given me the requested estimate to remove a tree, I would be leaving a review of the service provided instead of a review of how my call was handled. Twenty years ago, Luna was THE local service to call when trees needed trimming or removal. We were supporting local business while being provided a good service. When I called last week, Juan answered "hello" and I had to ask if I'd reached the correct number. He confirmed, said he would call me back, which he did within a short time. He told me to email a picture and he would provide a quote. It's been several days and I'm still waiting. Oh wait, no I'm not. Another service is coming in three days to remove the tree. Their quote came through promptly AND it was very reasonable. Too bad they're not local because I still like to support local businesses. read more

I've used Luna Tree a few times now to trim some rather humongous trees as well as remove a few smaller ones. They are timely and professional, and are great with lending their expertise as to how and when trees should be trimmed. They even suggested that we hold off for four months once because it wasn't an ideal time of year to trim our tree, which obviously put our interests as customers above their short-term need to make money. The estimator showed up one hour before our agreed appointment time. We have used them before and been happy with their service. This time their estimator bumped the price from $150 to a "deal" of $220 ! He used the excuse that we are no longer in a recession so we can raise our prices !
