When we first moved in (2001) there were actually two sycamores, this main one and and smaller (not much smaller) one that grew up to the bottom of the canopy on the main one and then grew out over our neighbor's driveway. Within a year of us moving in we had Rod's take the second tree down. Alex and the team are awesome to work with, do the work for a fair cost and are always thorough trimming as well as thorough cleaning up. So much debris over our yard, both neighbors and in the street. All cleaned up as if they were never here. What I also like, is that the team seems to really like their work and like working with each other. Everyone is in a good mood and they are laughing and joking with each other. I don't know how those guys climb into the tree so high. It would scare the crap out of me. But, they get up the branches and have their chain saws hanging from their belts. Awesome! If you need tree trimming, stump removal or any tree servicing call Rod's, you will not be mad at me for telling you to do so! They are arborists, so it's not just a tree trim, it is checking on the health of the trees as well. Great job! Thanks Rod's!

In all my years of life, I've yet to meet a contractor with the integrity, workmanship, and…read moreprofessionalism that Saloman Garcia has demonstrated. After many unsuccessful attempts of hiring a hardscape contractor, Saloman arrived punctual to provide an estimate for my backyard project. He completed the work timely as promised and left the entire area better than he found it. Impressed with the backyard hardscape, we asked him to start on our front yard. As expected, Saloman is a true artist that loves his work. Unlike previous contractors, he meticulously trimmed and shaped our palm trees without damaging the trees or any surrounding plants. Also, he even cleaned our roof that was full of debris. The most impressive thing about Saloman is that he works on each project with such care and attention to detail as though it's his own house. And unlike some of the other contractors (we got many other quotes), Saloman's prices were very reasonable and lower than all the other contractors. We will definitely keep his number for all future projects. Debated whether to post this review because selfishly we don't want him to get too busy when we call him- but he's too good and amazing for gatekeeping. Really excited that we found him!

While their quote was not the cheapest out of all the bids, speaking with Amir gave me a lot of confidence in his experience, workmanship, and team--and that ultimately made the decision to go with them an easy one. Amir was able to come up with a solid game plan for my specific tree and backyard situation where complete removal/grinding of the stump was impossible while being mindful of all the circumstances including that I have a dog. Such a professional. They were able to accommodate the physical barriers and tight access in my backyard without any issues. Amir even offered to remove an already dead tree at no additional cost, which was incredibly appreciated. The team worked efficiently and did an excellent job cleaning up afterward, including making sure my neighbor's yard was cleaned up as well. I really appreciated the professionalism and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Amir and his team and plan on using them again for some palm trees trimming!

He helped me get the property cleaned up & updated as we prepared to get it on the market to sell. He (and his team) got to work on cleaning up the overgrown yard, updated plantings, fixed sprinkler systems and just really made things look great & exceeded my expectations! I had him continue to maintain the first yard and take on another property next door to clean it up and prepare it for sale also. He did his magic on that yard too - making it look great and maintained it until we were able to sell. He is there when he says he will be and, I believe, his prices were reasonable for all the work he did. David has great ideas, listened to input from me and is generally fantastic to work with! I couldn't be more thankful to have worked with him and give him the highest recommendation!

Most are uninsured, which creates a real liability, and most are charging surprisingly high prices. North County Tree, on the other hand, is 100% professional. Even more surprising, their pricing consistently comes in at about half of what some of the fly-by-night crews were quoting.
