I appreciated her diligence and the effort she put into my case. Old review : I had total knee replacement surgery. This company contacted me initially and we set up times. The RN came and she was Amazing! The PT came and he was great. What I have major issues with is I was supposed to be getting 3 sessions a week for two weeks minimum.. On my about to be third session , the PT said oh we don't have pre authorization. I wondered about this so I called. The company would not call me back. I called twice. I waited 7 hours and no follow up call. I called a third time around 3 in the afternoon . I finally got someone and they said, " Oh we don't have pre authorization." I said , "Then how did you guys send people to my house in the first place?" They still have not answered that question. I still should be having PT sessions , it was knee surgery, the Dr. office did send that over (I checked) , and still no services and no calls from this company when I should be having therapy. Knee surgery is a difficult surgery mentally and emotionally, and to have to deal with this is unacceptable. I rated the company a 1 only because I really liked the PT and OT. Their management , scheduling , return calls needs to be improved.

Genesis Back & Neck pressured me into paying several thousand dollars upfront for a treatment plan that not only failed to help my condition--it made it worse. Despite arriving with an existing cervical spine MRI, I was urged to start an aggressive and expensive regimen immediately. I was assured the treatments were medically necessary and based on sound science. I was also told the CareCredit financing would remain interest-free--only to find out later that the 0% rate was temporary and would skyrocket to 29.99% after 18 months. This was never disclosed during their high-pressure sales pitch, of which I have an audio recording. Even more disturbing: after months of therapy, a follow-up MRI showed my condition had worsened substantially. I was in more pain than when I started. I have visited Dr. Smith who noticed my back was still tight from two weeks (or 3) after the accident and immediately got me into a therapy program. In my case, I had been in severe pain for nearly four months. I couldn't lay flat on my back or sit and drive without pain anymore. I did my research and chose KC Chiropractors. The two main chiropractors here are black and so too was the vast majority of the clientele I observed. I thought it was pretty cool that the black community supports a black-owned/operated chiro office. Personally, I just wanted to for my back pain to go away. After completing my insurance forms, I was ushered into a massage room where the masseuse used his elbows, knees and fists to blast my back spasms into Bolivian. After about 30 minutes of being beaten up, I was led to the chiro's office where he did a few minor adjustments on me. I have to be honest. If I go to the chiropractor and don't hear any major cracks when I get an adjustment, I'm a little disappointed. So when the room remained silent, I was somewhat convinced that my entire trip had been for naught. But then I woke up in the morning feeling bruised but better. And the next day even better than the one before. After three days, I was completely pain-free.
