This was my first experience with acupuncture. Have been suffering with a degenerative back condition and massage therapy was no longer giving me the extended relief I needed. My visit with Dr. Chen has been a game changer. The receptionist and front office staff were very polite and professional from making my appointment to how I was greeted upon arrival. Dr. Chen took the time to assess my issues, discuss her treatment plan and give me follow-up information to help with my concerns. I will return for additional treatments. read more

Dr. Chen is amazing! She is so kind. She knew exactly how to help me. This is my 5th treatment and I'm in no pain. Prior to seeing her no one was able to help with my back pain. There can definitely be spicy points on the needles going into the body but the results are worth the pain. read more

Many healthcare professionals are technically-skilled and well-trained, but every now and again, you find one who is also a gifted healer. Dr. Chen is one of the rare "all of the above." I have been struggling with the pain of a severe case of shingles. Dr. Chen has been kind, compassionate, and so gifted in bringing me relief from the pain and the anxiety it has brought on. She treats you as a whole person, and is so genuinely warm and so focused on healing her patients, I could not be happier with her care, and I could not recommend her more highly. read more

I've done acupuncture before but I always had a slight feeling of it's what your mind makes it to be. Let me go on... I've been having gut issues for awhile. But more recently lots of bloating and belching with random hiccups. Like this isn't normal type stuff. Went to a specialist and he told me what I had already figured out. I've changed the way I eat and am still having triggers. My friend suggested going to see an acupuncturist. I said why not! Looked one up and checked out all the reviews over different apps. I kid you not, MeiLing helped de-bloat my stomach! I was so uncomfortable on the way there. She hit all the right spots and the air was flowing out. I have another treatment and I will continue to visit until this is gone. Getting older is no fun! But the body heals itself if you put the work in and follow directions. read more

Dr. Chen is amazing! I have been seeing her for a pinched nerve in my lower back. Before my visit, I was unable to stand for any length of time, walk any great distance, or lift my left leg, plus I was always in pain and could find no relief. I have had three appointments and my pain is so much better and I don't limp like I did. I plan to continue my visits and I know I will improve under Dr. Chen's kind and gentle care. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chen, her clinic, and her staff. They are all wonderful!! read more

Where do I start... well this was my first time ever receiving acupuncture. I am not a needle person, however Dr. Chen talk me through every step of the way. The office is very clean in the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I went in for chronic knee pain. My doctor told me that I would need surgery or medication management. I decided to try this instead. After about five sessions my knee pain has gone away and it has also help with some mental health symptoms I have been experiencing. Dr. Chen made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience and if I could give her more than five stars, most definitely would. read more

I started going to Dr. Tang at China Acupuncture Clinic for migraines. I have been having migraines for over 20 years. In the past year, they have been weekly or bi-weekly for 3-5 days. I was on three different medications. I went twice a week for four weeks and now I have been going once a week. I have had maybe 1 migraine in four months. My medical doctor is considering reducing my medications and asked for Dr. Tang's information. read more

I wish I could give them 6 stars. I went in with severe hot flashes, insomnia and exhaustion as a result of it all. I started treatments 2x per week and felt new energy within a couple of weeks. I am happy to share that my hot flashes are gone - without hormones or other medication. I sleep well and actually miss not going more often to see this wonderful and caring couple- I go every 3 weeks now. The needles are not painful- everything is sanitized and they are very professional. Highly recommend! read more

After returning home from a 7 day cruise in May of 2016, I was suffering once again from what is known as MdDS, Mal de Debarquement Syndrome. I called it EXTREME vertigo on a roller coaster. I knew that I just could not deal with this horrible syndrome again, so I sought out help from Dr. James K. Tang, Chinese Acupuncturist in Arlington Texas. He helped me where no other doctor would or could. Upon my first visit with Dr. Tang, I walked into his office as if I was drunk, holding onto the walls/furniture for balance. He did electro-acupuncture for dizziness/balance. After that visit I walked out without having to hold on to the walls/furniture, still a bit dizzy, but nothing like I first walked in. After my second visit my world completely was back to normal! The swaying, bobbing was completely gone. I went back two more time to make sure that the treatment stuck. I was not taking any chances of the symptoms coming back! Previously, last year, I had suffered a severed balance disordered for about 5 months back in May 2015. It began once I returned home from a from a 4 day cruise. I sought help from my primary care, VA doctor, ENT doctor and one other MD. They all just shrugged their shoulders, said that they never heard of the problems I was experiencing and ignored my complaints. I was practically on my own with this. I also saw my chiropractor, at least he tried. But I continued swaying side to side and bobbing back and forth. Other problems were that I could not watch TV or looked at a computer screen for more than 5 minutes. Reading was even worse. Everything in front of me would start swaying or bobbing, it was horrible. The only remedy that would help, as crazy as it may sound ... was to drive my car! For months I had researched my symptoms and everything I read pointed to MdDS. After about five months of suffering with these nauseating symptoms it finally subsided. Was it due to the chiropractor helping me? Maybe, but I cannot say for sure. Everything I had read told me to stay away from boats of any kind, flying, elevators, escalators or even going to the beach. Well as you can see, I didn't listen. From now on before I go on vacation I will pre-set an appointment with Dr. Tang for when I return from vacationing near water, flying or anything that starts my world swaying or bobbing. I am so glad this helped me. Just wanted to share my story. Dr Tang made me no promises when I first met him. He is a very humble doctor from China who was able to help me. Thank you Dr. Tang! read more

I called as a first time client to find out about services. I said I have an ear infection. I was told I need antibiotics. I said antibiotics haven't helped; does acupuncture help with infections? And I was hung up on. I don't care if these people are good at what they do or not; that kind of customer service gets no money from me. (Texas location) read more

I would not return to this acupuncturist. I was there twice and both times it was a waste of time and money. No bedside manner. He did not care and treated me with disdain. He was ready to get the needles in and get me out the door. His wife works there and was nicer but I did not see her as someone who cared much either. I have found another acupuncturist near by and completely different!!! He asks questions and gets the whole picture of what's going on, has excellent bedside manner, communicates effectively (not barking out orders like this dr), and I felt a difference after the 1st visit. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

The first visit went well and I was happy to find China Acupuncture Clinic. The second and last visit was awful because Dr. Tang hurt me to the point I cried. He got mad at me because the pain on the back of my right leg down to my ankle that was being treated caused me to raise up. All he could say was I cannot treat you because you should not raise up. I was totally in agreement with his not treating me anymore . I was crying and limping out of the office, when he finally said I am sorry. I have never been hurt by a Dr. read more

After waiting weeks to get a hold of them through phone and email since my job hours couldn't allow me to visit them during the week, I finally got a hold of them through the phone. Dr. Thang answered the phone and he was extremely rude with me. After rudely asking the reason I was calling, I told him I was calling to make an appointment for next week to start my treatment for sinusitis and he suddenly starts telling me that I was wasting my time and money because one treatment was not enough.....without even allowing me to tell him that I was familiar with acupuncture and thus, knew that multiple treatments were needed. He then tells me that I could go today if I wanted to, but that they were going to close for two weeks due to spring break and then he yells at me to ask if I was going to go today or not. I told him I wouldn't go and so he hung up. I was needless to say, extremely disappointed. I do not believe that he has the right to speak to a future/potential patient in such a rude way. I am actually an RN, and I know patients deserve respect and attention. Based on the reviews here I was expecting a much more productive encounter. Absolutely not recommended for anyone. There are other acupuncture providers in the area that are by far much more educated and respectful to patients. read more
