Dr. Hopkins was kind, thorough, reassuring, and listened to my desired outcomes and what was reasonable to me. He had a great sense of humor and a warm demeanor. Most importantly, he wasn't doing the "worst case scenarios" thing docs do, or pushing anything unneeded that I've experienced in the medical setting before. I left with an elevated mood because I felt that I best understood the situation, and Dr. Hopkins put me at ease. While I hope that I never lacerate my hand and break my bone again, if I do, I will absolutely go directly back to Dr. Hopkins and his team. For me, referrals, specialists and the idea of surgery is a scary thing, but I cannot say enough for how much I appreciated the approach of Dr. Hopkins. The UTA endorsement, as well as the UTA memoribila was a big plus, too!

However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

My rheumatologist had me go to Arlington Physical Therapy because they provide certain diagnostic…read moretools that he felt important because of pain in my hand. Everyone there seems quite nice, and after an initial visit for evaluation, they performed an EMG. The test showed very limited compromise of nerves in my neck. I continued with therapy and on my third visit, saw a different therapist. On the fourth visit, it was back to the original therapist. After that for two visits, another different therapist, and then I saw a CMA. I have been to physical therapy many times and in many places. I've always had an actual DPT, never a CMA. During my last visit I had yet another CMA. And after all of the treatments, there was absolutely no difference in my pain. So here's the thing. Two points. First, I told them when I first started going there that I'm much more comfortable seeing the same person every visit. Either they forgot, or it was ignored. Second. Why is this my preference? Because each new person I saw spent half their time trying to figure out what the last person did, even though they had computer records. And there was no continuing investigation into what was causing my problem. I would be asked how I was feeling, and then they would try to duplicate the treatments and exercise exercises that were done the last time. I have a physical therapy facility two blocks from my house. They've successfully treated me for spinal issues, shoulder issues, knee issues and even for vertigo. Rather than driving 30 minutes to Arlington Physical Therapy, I'm gonna have my rheumatologist send a referral elsewhere. By the way, as I said, they're nice people. If you're comfortable not knowing who you're going to see every time you have an appointment, you may be more comfortable there than I was.

Much less pain and I still have another month to go. I really think that it will help fix a lot of the problems that I have. They focus on strength training andrelief. And it is been amazing. I especially love the very friendly people. It's the staff is amazing. I highly recommend.

I had a spinal fusion a few years ago, and I started having a lot of pain on my back and neck. My…read moredoctor referred me to Jarrod Ochoa. Initially, I was skeptical about going to PT since a lot of my friends have said that they hated physical therapy because it was very painful. However, I was so tired of having pain, that I decided to go anyways. Once I started the sessions, I was surprised to see that I never experienced pain during PT. I was actually in less pain once I finished my sessions. Jarrod will make you feel comfortable in every step of the process. I was always asking him questions for every single exercise we did, and he pleasantly took the time to answer all of them. He is also very friendly, and he really knows what he is doing. I finished my sessions, and even my mood during the day changed because my pain went from 8/10 to 2/10. I would definitely come back again!

I now…read morehave full rang of motion and just finished doing a lateral cutting drill I haven't been able to do in 10+ years without my knee buckling. Jared was awesome from start to finish. He's an expert at slowly building exercises on top of each other and using exercises to correct specific problem areas or specific ways you're moving incorrectly. He tailors your exercises based on your unique deficiencies, not just what your orthopedic surgeon has in their protocol. He's good about making sure that you are keeping up with their protocol but adds in the extra "helper" exercises you need to relearn coordination, develop stabilizer muscles, etc. Jared consistently delivers an excellent therapy experience and I always leave feeling better than when I came in, not beat down or sore. His knowledge base is expansive but his bedside manner is inviting and educational. He's constantly teaching. I've seen him work with every type of patient at this point (shoulders, knees, backs, hands, etc) and EVERYONE feels better when they leave. I can't say enough good about the guy. He's cream of the crop. You'll be glad you came here.
