Unfortunately, my boy broke a bone... but he was X-rayed and casted at the same visit. We were in and out in 2.5 hours. We were seen by Dr Garff and casted by Jacob. The staff was beyond professional and friendly. You can tell they deal with kids because they were comfortable with the banter between me and my 17 yr old. It's a shock to find out you have broken a bone. They took care and time in explaining what they were doing and why to him. They allowed him to ask questions and they were not phased at the silliest questions. I highly recommend!!!

Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.

Per my insurance company, it is on the same tab in Availity - Providers- TriWest; when you submit the referrals (as the provider). Only a referral was made and PT requires both. So now it still needs to be submitted but now they are saying my PCP needs to. This was the same way in east region (now west for Texas) so I don't know why this is like a new thing to them with authorizations. They worked me into rehab in the meantime which is nice; when I called they wouldn't do that without charging me per visit out of pocket. Yet somehow, it's fine for them to make us wait endlessly. That's not just inconsiderate -- it's disrespectful. I understand that some patients take longer than expected, but this level of delay and poor communication shows zero respect for the people waiting.
