Their team helps me so much throughout my recovery. All of the staff are amazing, kind, and welcoming. I work with mostly with Laney and TJ, and they are both awesome. They are knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and truly pay attention to how I am progressing. I never feel rushed or dismissed, and they always take the time to explain what we are working on and why. Steve does my progress evaluations, and I really appreciate how he takes the time to listen and look at me as a whole person, not just an injury. They have helped and continue to help me rebuild strength, improve my mobility, and feel more confident with becoming more of myself again. Recovery after surgery can be frustrating, but Arlington Physical Therapy has made the process feel supported and manageable. I am so grateful for the care I have received and continue to recieve and would highly recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy.

My rheumatologist had me go to Arlington Physical Therapy because they provide certain diagnostic…read moretools that he felt important because of pain in my hand. Everyone there seems quite nice, and after an initial visit for evaluation, they performed an EMG. The test showed very limited compromise of nerves in my neck. I continued with therapy and on my third visit, saw a different therapist. On the fourth visit, it was back to the original therapist. After that for two visits, another different therapist, and then I saw a CMA. I have been to physical therapy many times and in many places. I've always had an actual DPT, never a CMA. During my last visit I had yet another CMA. And after all of the treatments, there was absolutely no difference in my pain. So here's the thing. Two points. First, I told them when I first started going there that I'm much more comfortable seeing the same person every visit. Either they forgot, or it was ignored. Second. Why is this my preference? Because each new person I saw spent half their time trying to figure out what the last person did, even though they had computer records. And there was no continuing investigation into what was causing my problem. I would be asked how I was feeling, and then they would try to duplicate the treatments and exercise exercises that were done the last time. I have a physical therapy facility two blocks from my house. They've successfully treated me for spinal issues, shoulder issues, knee issues and even for vertigo. Rather than driving 30 minutes to Arlington Physical Therapy, I'm gonna have my rheumatologist send a referral elsewhere. By the way, as I said, they're nice people. If you're comfortable not knowing who you're going to see every time you have an appointment, you may be more comfortable there than I was.

After 10 days of intense PT and OT, I can walk on a walker, do a flight of stairs, ride a bike and generally take care of myself. The nurses were great and very caring (with the exception of 1 or 2, there's always 1) and the to therapists were amazing. They push but also take into account my personal limitations based on arthritis. The Drs were great too. I was having huge problems with pain and the Dr reaccessed the plan and made me comfortable. You really get out of it, what you put into it. This hospital really made that process easy and more effective.

When I started with Ron, I could barely lift my arm, I could not make a fist, could not bend my elbow or stretch fingers or lift my wrist (shoulder dislocation, fractured arm and Brachial Plexus injury-stretched nerves). I worked with Ron two days a week for several months and to date I have about 95% of my function restored, expecting 100% recovery. My FIRST therapist, Tojal, was awesome; she legitimately cared about my goals and how I felt. She truly listened to what I had to say and what was bothering me. However, I only had her for two weeks. Unfortunately, I wasn't told that she was moving until the front desk person said they needed to move my appointments around. I had to ask why and that is when I was told that Tojal was moving and that very day was her last day! I thought was pretty unprofessional and an extreme lack of communication on everyone's part. In the 2-3 months I was at ATI, I went through 3 therapists. On some days there wasn't even a Physical Therapist there...it was only the PT assistant; who I felt could have cared less about anything I was doing. The only therapist that I felt truly cared was my first therapist...after she left, I lost all confidence for ATI, as none of the other PTs listened to me or how I was feeling. If I was hurting and being pushed too hard, I voiced my concerns, but I felt like it went on deaf ears. There is absolutely no patient continuity. In addition, typically, when you walk into a place of business, you are greeted with a 'hello' and/or a smile. The girl at the front desk, never offered either. She wasn't very pleasant and came across extremely rude to not only me, but to other clients. I am unsure of other ATI facilities, however, the one in Mansfield needs a LOT of work. I am so disappointed with my experience there as I wanted and needed to reach some sort of goal after my lower back surgery; however, it did not happen. I asked to be discharged early. After being discharged, I sent an email voicing my concerns; never have I heard anything back from ATI.
