At each step there was a mixture of exercises I could do fairly easily in order to warm up and build confidence and those that challenged me. When I expressed a need to be able to climb tall stairs and a ladder, exercises were adapted in order for me to accomplish this. Highly recommend.

My first night there I was checked on in my room around 8:36pm. I was found unconscious at around…read more5:30am. I was in a diabetic coma. They knew upon arrival that I was a Type I Diabetic and that my kidneys just failed. I now can't walk or stand on my own and I have some neurological problems stemming from the lack of responsibility from the night staff here. I went to another therapy center and now I'm in assisted nursing facility with problems from the diabetic coma I went in. No one can figure out how long I was in a coma before being found. I might have permanent damage from this facility. I DO NOT recommend.

Most other staff were polite and professional but this one female pretty much harassed myself and a few others making the stress level high. Dr. Hopkins was kind, thorough, reassuring, and listened to my desired outcomes and what was reasonable to me. He had a great sense of humor and a warm demeanor. Most importantly, he wasn't doing the "worst case scenarios" thing docs do, or pushing anything unneeded that I've experienced in the medical setting before. I left with an elevated mood because I felt that I best understood the situation, and Dr. Hopkins put me at ease. While I hope that I never lacerate my hand and break my bone again, if I do, I will absolutely go directly back to Dr. Hopkins and his team. For me, referrals, specialists and the idea of surgery is a scary thing, but I cannot say enough for how much I appreciated the approach of Dr. Hopkins. The UTA endorsement, as well as the UTA memoribila was a big plus, too!

However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

My mom stayed here for two weeks after a week at the hospital for her stroke…read more To my surprise the space was so clean, no rancid or foul smells. Front desk was always welcoming when we came to visit and left. My mom's road to recovery was a positive experience here with the quality of care from all of the staff - literally every single staff member she came in contact with up until the day she was discharged. They really worked with her and were there for her at every corner and I appreciated that more than anything - especially the days we couldn't be there.

My mom spent weeks there and just got worse. Her memory was bad and was very weak that she could…read morehardly get out of bed and needed 1 to 2 people to assist. I saw her at group physical therapy and the patients would just stare at her while my mom's mind was elsewhere. It broke my heart. She said the therapy was loud and it stressed her out, but he had to be because some people don't hear good, but it was loud and it echoed in the room. My mom is wheelchair bound and they told Medicare that she had walked so many feet which was enough to be discharged. They discharged her with a wound and UTI to Arbrook Plaza for nursing home care. Arbrook Plaza did not give up on my mom. Instead of nursing home they put her in the rehab side of it first and 6 weeks later instead of nursing home she got to come home with no UTI, no wound and her memory and strength is back to where she can transfer herself in and out of wheelchair to her bed or restroom and dress herself. I'm glad Encompass gave up on my mom or else she wouldn't have gone to Arbrook Plaza. Yes Arbrook Plaza is an old building but the quality is great.
