To be generous, perhaps they do not have the expertise to diagnose psoriatic arthritis, but bringing records of my history were ignored. Career-related, have had cortisone injections many times. This residual pain will not go away because it is now nerve damage. Have found good care elsewhere and now seeing a Reumatologist for psoriatic arthritis.. medication should help and my new Orthopedist has prescribed p/t stressing surgery will make this worse and not better. "Don't let anyone suggest surgery." In requesting records, the TxH&K doctor did call back and he is sorry. No suggestion of p/t and I do not take prescription pain killers. For colder days have used a cane or a walker sporatically. Hoping I am not totally dependent on walking aids moving forward. Additional X-rays at my current Orthopedist indicate both knees are the same in terms of moderate arthritis.. clearly nerve damage to my left knee.. Whether their staff has medical training I do not know.

Incompetent staff that cannot even schedule imaging. The Dr ordered an MRI so I waited a few days…read moreand heard nothing, I called and they never ordered, but, said they would get it done. 3 days later I got a call from an imaging place 40 miles from my home, I have severe spine and cannot travel that far, and wouldn't because there are 5 places within 15 miles of my home. I called again and requested the orders be sent to envision or mansfield Methodist hospital, I told them anywhere but rayus. Well, next day Rayus called and told me they could not do it because there is a billing dispute which is why I told them not Rayus. I suffer greatly everyday and lately I spend my days in tears, I really liked the doctor, but the incompetence and delay in care affects me horribly. I'm suffering so bad I haven't eaten in 3 days, the pain gets so bad it almost knocks me out. I don't give extra chances when it comes to me suffering, if I were you I wouldn't take a chance with them at all. Also I'm still suffering waiting for my appointment with a new ortho.

They also set the crutches to where I almost fell all the way because they were so awkward and they just kept shoving me out the door. On the follow-up visit, they gave me the same brace, a larger size, and the DOCTOR told me this one was for the left knee (my right knee is injured). WHAT??? BOTH KNEES ARE THE SAME DIRECTION!! He said it had an L on it and I said because it was a large....what???? Then the nurse came in and argued with me about how to put the brace on. She said the little hole goes in the back...what????

Then they lied to me about not having my phone number, they called me several weeks prior. Finding a different doctor. This office is disorganized and not user friendly.

He…read morecouldn't tell me what was wrong with my knee, he laughed at me about getting on the internet to research my problems, he asked ME what I thought we should do for treatment, and then he agreed to do surgery, but was adamant that he wouldn't find anything wrong. He also repeatedly told me "you know could die" when discussing the surgery option. He told me 100% that I did not have a torn meniscus b/c 2 MRIs didn't show it. He dismissed the popping and grinding I was having as old age. He just flat out didn't care. I went to see another doctor, who diagnosed me right away and performed surgery the next week, and I am so happy to be doing much better. I did indeed have a torn meniscus and a knee cap that was out of alignment. I am so thankful I didn't end up having surgery with Dr. Ogden.
