Told me visit was ready by 5:15 then waited until 6:00 then told me to wait another hour

IDIOTS...all of them!! The first time I visited for a fractured knee cap, they gave me the wrong kind and wrong size knee brace. They also set the crutches to where I almost fell all the way because they were so awkward and they just kept shoving me out the door. On the follow-up visit, they gave me the same brace, a larger size, and the DOCTOR told me this one was for the left knee (my right knee is injured). WHAT??? BOTH KNEES ARE THE SAME DIRECTION!! He said it had an L on it and I said because it was a large....what???? Then the nurse came in and argued with me about how to put the brace on. She said the little hole goes in the back...what???? read more

I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner on McCart street in Fort Worth who only identified herself as a provider. She did a so called examination because my medical complaint was a sore throat and swelling under my chin. She then said I needed an MRI 20 miles away from my address. I had the MRI and I never received a diagnosis but was told by a staff member I needed a surgeon. They referred me and made a referral to the surgeon. The surgeon cancelled my appointment because he said that he didn't do video appointment. I went to my primary care doctor and he reviewed my paperwork from CareNow and he asked me if they treated me for my sinus infection. I was never even told I had an infection. Don't go there for treatment. read more

The whole staff off of Mc Cart Ave are honestly the most caring people out there. They care about their jobs and their patients from the secretary who you first saw when you walked in, to the technician, LPN and NP! I appreciated every step they were taking to take care of me and it didn't go unnoticed! You guys rock! read more

To start, the women at the front desk were very unprofessional and ghetto. I've honestly never been to a business where the front desk receptionists talk so vulgar and speak so ugly to customers in person and in the phone! Literally awful to watch. I went in on Tuesday, Oct. 10th, and saw Kara Fenceroy, NP. They took an x-ray of my left foot, and while the radiologist did not see a fracture, NP Fenceroy stated that she did see it and referred me to an Orthopedic Surgeon. The Orthopedic Surgeon was pleasantly surprised and impressed with NP Fenceroy's keen eye. Kara Fenceroy was kind and patient while paying attention to detail, and I am so thankful to her for following through. read more

Called ahead to schedule a school physical, they do not do appointments for physicals. I still need the physical so I still take my teen. Checked in around 2:30ish Was told the wait was 2.5 hours. We don't live close so we decided to get drinks and wait. We were called at 4:41 and told that the McCart care now could see us right away because they were not on a wait? (There was no one in the Horne st office when we came and checked in. But After an hour then the lobby was full. ) Arrived at Mccart carenow at 5 was told by the front desk that the Horne st location did not call and check about the wait time, that they also had a 2.5 hour wait. That I would have to start over again! I call Horne st care now at 5:19 and of course I ask what's going on. The woman apologizes and says it was a miss communication and she will get us in right away if we come back to the Horne location. Arrived back at Horne care now at 5:41 20 mins drive between locations We are finally Called back by nurse at 6:10 Spent 5 mins with nurse 6:15 waiting in room for dr 6:50 dr is in the room and the physical begins Dr out at 6:55 We spent over 4 hours waiting and about 15$ in gas to go back and forth between two locations during peak traffic hours, only to see a professional for less than 10 minutes! Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I think the choice to not schedule school physicals is unacceptable. This is by far the worst experiences I have ever had here. read more

I've been coming to this location for years. The staff and the doctors have always been pleasant and professional. If it's a busy time, there might be a little wait, but no more than in your regular Dr. office. Generally, I've been seen within 10 minutes of arriving. I usually do the online check-in, which just helps them identify my reason for coming in. Drs. are courteous and responsive. I've gone to them for pnemonia, bronchitis, flu, migrains and a sprained finger. read more

Staff over the phone is AWFUL!!! SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL! They don't even tell you they will be transferring you and to who. They respond to your calls like they hate their job! If you don't like where you work, please quit! People come in here sick, and we pay to get services in a kind, warm and professional way!! I am sure you wouldn't want to be treated the same way if you were sick! Very Very sad that a clinic like this has such uncaring people!!!! This clinic is also understaffed. I went on a Tuesday and they only had 1 Doctor and 1 lab personnel. It took me almost 3 hours to get out of the clinic. Also, doctor gave me medicine that made me really sick. I had to call to get a different one. Received a call, but they don't leave detailed voice messages. They just say to call back. Why can't they say, oh your doctor has sent new prescription to Walgreens! Leave us a darn detailed message. Also, I couldn't get a doctor note emailed to me. I had to physically come in, check in and wait for the doctor to be ready to write it to me. People are sick and it is hard for them to go back to the clinic!!! Use your common sense and try to accommodate your patients the best possible!! My regular doctor would have done this and so much more!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! YOU WILL JUST GET A HEADACHE TRYING TO DEAL WITH THOSE INEPT PEOPLE!!! read more

Horrible experience. I came in at 12 signed in online and they said it would be like an hour and they would give me a call on when to come back in. They called me in three hours later and now 1hr later I still have not seen a doctor. Just close it down if the business isn't going to do any better by their clients and general public. read more

So correct me if I'm wrong but it thought the whole purpose of these little pop up clinics was for a quicker turnaround. No here. The staff is very nice. However they are in NO HURRY! Went for a visit June 18th, four days later they tell me that they lost my urine that was supposed to be sent out for a culture and that I'm supposed to go back in for urine test again and never did my blood work that I first ask for when I first registered. Lol So unprofessional, I hope my urine was taken to help someone for a drug test Nurse that I spoke to so unprofessional! No wonder she's where's at now! Hope others have better luck. read more

Usually I am pretty pleased with CareNow locations (I've been to quite a few), but this one is an exception. Do not bother checking in online; it doesn't go through to the office and is a waste of time. If it is a weekday, prepare to wait at least 2 hours in the wait room and an hour in the back. The doctors themselves are generally quite pleasant and helpful, but the office staff in the front are not. They will act as if it is your fault the online service is not working and have no sympathy for those who are very clearly sick. The rest of the staff is very friendly and understanding with a few exceptions here and there. The nurses are nice and the radiologists are very speedy. If you are seeking "urgent" care, I don't recommend this location. If you are lacking a primary care doctor and seeking help, I do recommend it. read more

Have a hard time finding someone to translate for my mom, so I always have to schedule her appointments around my schedule so that I can go with her. Yesterday I called to make sure my moms app was the following day at 8, whoever answered the phone was talking to a patient in front of her while also talking to me. Without putting me on hold which is a violation of hippa because I could hear information about the patients visit. Guys, this place seemed nice. Good new facility, the doctor seemed competent, but folks, the desk staff...wow...so bad. The check in clerks were too busy talking about movies to let the next nurse know that a shot had to be brought to the room, so I waited for 40 minutes. Now I know what you're thinking, "why would you wait that long". Well, it's because up until this point things seemed okay but then when I finally poked my head out the door to see what the hell was going on the desk staff didn't even realize I was in the room. They thought I had left. But then when I asked about the shot they got this deer in headlights look..."what shot?" My daughter checked in yesterday and given 3 medicine for her fever and respiratory infection. And they won't extend her doctors note for school. Utterly outrageous wait time. You would think almost no one works here. I didn't even need to see a doctor. I just came for a pre-employment screening so just a TB test and urine sample (for drug screening). I waited an hour for the TB test (takes one minute, done by a nurse) and another hour for someone to come get me to collect a specimen which takes 2 minutes and is done by a lab technician. The lab tech was also very standoffish and unhelpful. All of this is unacceptable. read more

Waited 30 minutes after filling out paperwork to be seen. $179 for first visit, $149 after without insurance. I had strep so the screening cost $39. Women at the front counter pretend you're glass and don't see you, doctors in the back are nice. In the end I was out in 2 hours. However, the women at the front don't seem to use their common sense. I asked for a doctors note for my college classes. With strep I should be out 7-10 days since I'm contagious and the woman at the front put me to attend school the next day. I applied for their discount card so my cost in the end for the visit was $108. read more

This place was a complete and total waste of money. They let me sit in their waiting room for OVER AN HOUR, while VOMITING into a garbage basket I had brought with me. They then MISREAD my bloodwork and sent me to the emergency room telling me that I had a serious infection. I had food poisoning. I had eaten seafood the night before, and they didn't even give me any anti-nausea medication until I was walking out the damned door. Cost over $300 for them to do ABSOLUTELY nothing. Here we go again. I did the online check in at approximately 10:30 a.m. Received a phone call about 10 minutes it would be and hour or so before they'd call me back. Two and a half hours later I had to call them back. "Oh you can come in now if you want." was the reply. Left home at 1:00 p.m. Arrived at the facility at around 1:15 p.m. When I asked about not RECEIVING a phone call the young lady said they were buried. Not buried. Six cars in the parking lot. Still waiting. It has now been four hours since I started this mess No relief in sight. P.S. The lady that could started off RUDE from the beginning of the call. So she starts verifying information with me... Well i proceed to tell her i forgot to updated my insurance to aenta on the web check in then she says " you know don't know what insurance you have... well you cant update it now cause it already printed. i said well i thought i updated it on the website but prior to this... Do you want the new information or what !!! Then she proceeds to tell me that they are not accepting my insurance ...so i was already over the situation with her already. just rude to the point if my throat wasn't hurting i would have personal drove over there to let her know in person how rude and very unprofessional she was!! Daughter checked in yesterday had been suffering from head congestion and an ear ache in one ear. A Lady Doctor with an attitude ask her if she had experience any of Covid symptoms list. She replied no. Daughter told Doctor she has been anywhere for three weeks, she gets this every year. Doctor wanted to test her for Covid. My daughter refused the test then the doctor said well your heart rate is elevated it could be Covid. My daughter refused the test again so the doctor sent her home with nothing for the ear. Just told her she had fluid on the ear. More interested in Covid testing money then the patient. What a scam this Covid testing is. Wake up people! read more

I used online check in for the McCart, Fort Worth, location and was quickly taken to an exam room. The intake nurse was kind and professional. After waiting in the exam room for 1 hour and 15 minutes, I stuck my head out of the door to check if I somehow had been forgotten. I was in a room at the end of a hall where I did not see anyone. I called "hello" to get someone's attention. A nurse put her head around the corner and said we are on our way. When the doctor entered the exam room, the first thing he said was, "Mrs. -----, you are not the only person here." Well okay then. What about a simple "Sorry you had to wait, we are super busy?" The sassy comment was unnecessary. I have used Care Now before at another location, and was pleased with the doctor. I'll go to the other location if I need urgent care in the future. read more

I visited CareNow on 11/13/2016. I did the online check-in and yet STILL waited over an hour. When I finally did see the doctor she said she couldn't tell me exactly what was causing my illness. She ran a strep test that came back clear. Said she would send me home with a few Rx to try and that was it. I went to check out after seeing the doctor and again waited AN ENTIRE HOUR for someone to call me up to check OUT. That is completely unprofessional. I did not recieve my perscriptions the doctor wrote for me, I didn't not recieve care for my illness, and I received no services. When I spoke to someone in the office that same day explaining all of this they assured me I would not have to pay for my visit. And again when I spoke to comeone at the central offices, after I received the first bill, I again was assured this was taken care of. I am not going to pay $261 for absolutely nothing. I need someone to clear these charges off my account and the collections to cease. I will pay for the strep test if necessary, but I truly believe CareNow should take care of everything regarding this matter out of principle/customer care. read more

If you are being seen by Dr. Chi Nguyen... run. My first red flag should have been the green & yellow hair. She is obviously a mind reader since she told me how I was feeling before I could tell her. I told her what she described wasn't true and I had a cough. She told me that's funny I haven't heard you cough. I was very offended and wasn't aware that I needed to bring proof. She was very rude and unprofessional. Don't waste your time or money. This was my first and last visit. Apparently this was a poor decision on my part to come here. Worst care now I have EVER BEEN TO!!! My boyfriend came here just to get a drug test and physical for his new job. We waited two hours just to be called back and it's now been well over 3 hours and the doctor has just gotten the chance to see him and I'm still waiting. There were people that came in after us and got checked and left before we did. This is rediculous and we will never be returning to this clinic. I've been to a care now in a different city close by and they got me in and out in less than an hour and a half. I required stitches and even then, the time it took to see me, and let me go was within reasonable time. I do not recommend going to this location. There is a young Mexican lady at the front with glasses who was rude to begin with and clearly didn't have the attitude we were expecting. I got here at 3:26 when I checked in, which was pretty fast and the woman at the front desk was nice. She didn't tell me there was a wait or how long it would be. I wasn't called back until 2 hours later! I told her what my affliction was (I get it 3 times a year). The test I got only takes 10-15 minutes to process. I am still sitting here waiting for my results and it is currently 5:50. I opened my door so someone would come check on me and nothing. There are a total of 6 people here so I am confused as to what the hold up is. I went to the front desk to ask how much longer and she told me another 20 minutes, there was no im sorry or what can I do for you to reassure me AT ALL! I would NOT recommend this place when you are ill. No care or concern at all! And I was there so long my pharmacy was closed and I have to suffer another day and miss work AGAIN! read more

Youre much better off going to a real ER! I went, waited over an hour. I was " diagnosed" with an upper respiratory infection and given antibiotics. Long story short I ended up in a real ER turns out I have Epstein Barr Virus.... No flu, no need for antibiotics! A simple blood test would have confirmed this. read more
