My quality of care is always professional and caring. My tech is very patient and concerned about my scan sessions every time I come.

Their scheduling was horrific. Excellent tone and tenor.....but incompetent. First off, the earliest date they could get me in was in 2 weeks. With the ortho follow up a full week later, it would be 3 weeks until I could learn if I needed surgery. All the while burning sick leave and vacation at work. So I called scheduling and tried to find an earlier date. The scheduler said they had a spot in Ft Worth today at 2:15. It was now 9:30 am, that office is at least a 2 hour drive, I said heck yeah sign me up! The scheduler said they would send me a text with the address and confirmation. I left just before noon....not wanting to be late and waste their time. BUT, i had not received the text. So I called the number while I was on my way 817-289-2002. Spoke to another very nice person. I let her know I had not received the confirmation text like they said I would, so I wanted to call and confirm the appointment and location....after all it was a 2 hour drive...... The scheduler was perplexed why I did not get the text but... joyously confirmed my appointment was good to go! She also let me know my part to pay was also $222. I said ok and kept driving. I arrived at 2:00 for the 2:15 appointment. Again, not wanting to waste anyone's time. I go into the office and let the clerk know Im there for my 2:15 appointment. I could tell she wasn't finding anything, so I added, its really at 2:30 but I came in early for the paperwork. The clerk said 'sir your appointment isn't for today because we have nobody here who can do it .' You had an appointment for the 27th and then the 21st, but it is not today. They know we don't have anyone here on Fridays to do the GAD.... She then says 'Are you sure you called the right place?' I showed her the number I called, and she looked perplexed....and said well thats our scheduling number.. I call the scheduler while Im standing there at the window. She once again confirms my appointment is for today..... but needs to check on things and puts me on hold. The phone rings right inside the window to the girls I was talking to...... Lots of Umhmmm, Umhmm....Uhmmm. Then girl number 2 says Did you call our scheduler.....I said yes Im on hold with here now......She then says OH she just called and asked us to reschedule you....... Can you come back monday????? What in the shit show is going on at this place? Talk about amateur hour. Nevermind I will have been driving 4-5 hours (Friday afternoon traffic leaving ft worth yay) I'm going elsewhere.......You guys can have it. read more

Super nice staff! We were diverted to another day due to building issues but still easy. Staff was super nice with my special needs teen and explained TO HIM what what be going on for his scan. He was at ease and I was able to sit near him for assurance. Would definitely recommend for ease of the process and staff. read more

Very professional. And both ladies that performed parts of my CAT scan were great communicators. They explained everything throughly. Wonderfully easy to work with and on very short notice. A+ I needed imaging done ASAP. I called Gateway and was able to go in right away. My Doctor mis-wrote some my order and even forgot a couple of images they would need. The Techs at Gateway identified the problems right away and even knew the orders didn't look complete for the kind of surgery I was having. Great and friendly staff. I was out in no time. Probably the fastest I've been in and out of a doctors office.

First I had met my deductible and they tried to charge me $607, then they told me some BS about claims took 30 days to show up....I let them know that I checked it that morning. They reverified my insurance and wanted to change me $140 (20%) copay when I had a 10% copay. Then, she told me that they electronically filed twice a day and that they would get their claim in before any other doctor I had seen in the last week or so. I informed them if that was the case, I had $300 in my HSA which the insurance would pay them directly so I wasn't going to pay them anything. As anyone knows, if you overpay a doctor or an Imaging Center it takes them 6 months to a year to cut you a refund check. The lady was quite rude through the entire process. On a positive note, the tech was wonderful. If they trianed the front staff better, it would probably help the reviews. read more

First time bringing my Mom to Gateway. They're ok. The waiting room is clean and decent. The front desk employees were standard, nothing to write home about. One thing that I do feel needs attention is that the front desk employees were discussing their personal matters quite loudly to where patients in the waiting room had to speak up or talk in each others ear just to hear. Next time close the glass window that seperates you from the patients. We dont want to hear about your personal life. Scheduling department deserves 2 stars. They were very dry and flat on the phone. All went well. I was told I had no co-pay both when I confirmed my appointment and when I arrived. The tech was absolutely charming and did a thorough and complete sonogram while making me comfortable the whole time. I don't expect to get a bill, but if I do, will address it at that time. Pretty frustrating experience. I was told to arrive 15 min early for check-in, which I did, and then proceeded to wait almost an hour. How do you disrespect people's time like that? This is a "budget" diagnostic center and it shows, you get what you pay for. read more

In preparation for applying for a loan, I reviewed my credit reports and found that Gateway had referred a minimal charge to a collections agency and caused a black mark on my credit records. I had never received a bill from them, but they screwed up my credit anyway. I don't plan to use them again. read more

I have a hard time lying down and when I laid down on the table for the CAT scan I can't just move or get up or because I have a bad pelvis area the person had me lay down then he told me scoot down, then do this do that and I said I'm in too much pain and finally a person that with more experience helped me because by then I was yelling at the guy and telling him I can't do it. I was upset and scared because I thought something terrible was wrong with me and then to have somebody not listen to me when I'm telling them I'm in so much pain there was no one being sympathetic. So I thought. Asked the front desk upstairs for a wipe because I had sticky stuff all over my body I was told she had nothing i said could you ask someone ? I said you know what just forget it so I walked out of the office. As I was walking to the elevator a young man approached me and said here are some wipes I said well I asked her about it and he said no she didn't know where they were which is ridiculous because she was too busy doing something on her phone she didn't want to leave her phone whatever it was I don't know if she texting or what. read more

Service was great but unfortunately the billing is awful. I was over billed 200 dollars after I knew I had already met my deductible and I am going on a month of my refund is being processed, supervisor will call you, etc, and absolutely no response or result. The last phone call I had with them was quote: "that's just the way it is." Totally and completely unacceptable, both ethically and professionally. read more

This is not a reputable company. I paid them what my insurance company indicated and they continue to bill me and turned me over to a collection agency. I have called them numerous times and left messages and no one ever calls me back. Their billing department is the worst! read more

I was experiencing dizziness and lightheadedness, and had a late appointment at my neurologist, but he wanted to get an MRI same day. The radiologist at Gateway agreed to stay after hours while I drove across town to have an MRI done. The team was pleasant and polite from start to finish. read more

They are very effective & efficient with regards to both check-in & imaging BUT staffing is minimal so if there is any delay in any part of the process you can expect significant delay. Seriously I've been here for almost 2 hours, with probably 4 patients ahead of me. They messed up my paperwork and due to them not closing there glass windows, LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO FOR HIPPA reasons. You could hear everything about everyone's business and problems. Not to mention they were not in any rush to get things done in a timely fashion. Place needs to be more task oriented and focus on customer service. HIPPA was a major problem for me, I know why everyone in this room is here. Not acceptable. read more

They might have done a good job, but the total job is a complete job. They have the worst accounting processors as they have not change the amount owed AFTER the acceptance of the Insurance. I have called the insurance company to confirm, and they are still incorrect in the total AFTER the insurance filing. This company after many tries to correct this, has ignored my problem with them and now they have sent me over to a collection agency and also reported me to the credit reporting agencies. I have called the agency and they are just as stupid as Gateway. Seems I am getting charged extra because they do not agree with the insurance company and then REFUSE to accept from my insurance. Now, the credit agency wants me to send them a copy or the insurance EOB and after I spent many hours getting this (because it was over 9 months ago) to prove to myself that something was wrong here. I am so glad I have the proof on my side and will not only report this but since they are using phoney scare tactics, I am going after them for FRAUD based on the true facts. They refuse to pay me for my time and effort to get the correct information. I have worn out my patients with these people. I have asked them to pay for my time to locate this information, but they think I am trying to scam them, when I am only asking for the credit from the insurance be credited to my account. read more

I wish I could leave a separate review for the actual technicians because they were helpful, competent and pleasant people but I am so sickened by the office staff that the one star is warranted. The office staff will call and get an "insurance estimate" then attempt to bully you into paying the full amount (thousands) at the time of your visit, and will not offer any form of payment plan. I have never been talked down to or bullied so much by a medical office before. My doctors office told me to have Gateway call them directly if this happened again when I had to have follow up scans completed and of course, it did. So I told the office manager this-- her name is Michelle, she said she would call my doctors office so I said thanks and hung up. She called me right back and proceeded to berate me for "hanging up on her" and tried to bully me into paying her at least $800 dollars for a follow up CT from issues they found in the MRI I had just paid $500 for. The best part is, I just got that bill in the mail and all I owe for that is $50 so if I would have paid the amount she demanded I pay, I would have overpaid by $400. Don't fall for their scare tactics. Unfortunately they are the agency used by my surgeon so I have to go through them but I will NEVER choose them in the future. They give you a form in your paperwork that tells you why Gateway is a better place to choose because it isn't hospital owned but apparently you have to be verbally abused and shaken down for money every time someone calls you. I'll stick with a hospital owned facility any day. Oh, and when I asked if there was any way we could use my port since it took three sticks to get my IV accessed for my contrast for the MRI, I was rudely cutoff and told absolutely not with no explanation. Never mind the fact that I've had a blood clot in one arm and scar tissue in both arms, hence the port in the first place. read more
