Office is very well suited with nice high rise view in waiting area. To keep you well engaged in movies, updated variety of magazines and code for free WiFi. Dr. Perl is a detailed and very hands on informative doc. She gives a good feel for her diagnosis and referral. My pain was subsided to some degree with her treatment, concern and samples to help me with my chronic pain. I went to a dermatologist and had biopsies but they said they couldn't be sure however they thought it was heat and solar urticaria. I then found Padmapriya Sivaraman, at NRH Rheumatology Associates and immediately thought I found the right person for me. She put me on Rinvoq which was doing me wonders until I broke out head to toe with a rash while on vacation. She asked if the dermatologist tested for Lupus, I asked them and was told they had . Padmapriya Sivaraman, Then performed another test indicating I had Lupus because she was saying my Rosacea was the butterfly pattern. I became skeptical and would question more and more until she told me around 2021 I could no longer come back to the office and I was banned from the practice. I found a rheumatologist closer to me in Keller which he told me Lipus was a specialty of his along with Rheumatoid Arthritis and said based on his tests I had neither but did however indicate having inflammation markers that he needed to look more into. He kept me on Rinvoq but continued to monitor me the same. In 2022 I moved to Indiana and the first doctor I could get into was not my first preference but doctors were turning away patients due to not enough staff. She took me off Rinvoq because I mentions some joint tenderness in my thumbs. She suggested to try out Orencia and after a few months it was not doing much more for me so she switched to Enbrel and after a few months my hair stylist noticed patches of hair missing. I then began to break out with Psoriasis patches in my scalp, legs, torso and arms. I went to get a second opinion and that doctor read my notes and treated me as if I was a hypochondriac and ran my bill up with blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds and more, making my out of pocket made for the year as of January 2025. I showed photos on Facebook to my friends and luckily she worked at a very well known Rheumatologist and although he was not accepting new patients he decided to take me under his wing. I in the meantime went to a dermatologist that did steroid injection in my scalp...most is all filled in except one of the worst places. He told me I needed to be back on Rinvoq as that is what he would give his patients with Alopecia. I decided to wait and continue injections for 4 months. In the meantime I got into the new rheumatologist and he also confirmed Alopecia and Psoriasis which led him to thinking I have Psoriatic Arthritis and Alopecia. He was able to pull my initial diagnosis from Indiana in 2006 and said most patients were miss diagnosed back then and if patients are on a medication that hides other symptoms doctors don't know to look into other issues and keep treating as is. Fast forward, I moved back to Texas August 2025 and tried to contact Rheumatology Associates closer to Krum area since this is where I am now. I think it was Frisco, but I was denied seeing I was banned from Padmapriya Sivaraman's practice. Again leaving me with limited options with my insurance coverage and showing how our healthcare system is failing their patients every day since COVID! So I beg that you keep all this in mind when choosing your socialist with this corporation. I had to be my own patient advocate and the system don't seem to care. Which is sad seeing I am a small business owner and would not go to these lengths for my clients to just give me a bad ratting...I'm going to go above and beyond to help! I am grateful I have found out so much and I'm back on the proper care for myself.

Although this doctor may seem caring at first, things can still go quickly downhill. She hit a roadblock with me when it should have not been one. She lied to me in hopes that I didn't know as much about a certain autoimmune disease, so that she could refer me to a pain management specialist instead. I refused to be sent there. I really needed to advocate for myself so I could get further testing done. My insurance didn't cover my MRIs because she didn't provide the documentation needed to show they were medically necessary. I brought this up to the office. The lady at the front said she'd look into it, but she never called me back. For the last appointment I went to, I asked if I could have my medical documents back as I was getting new health insurance and was planning on changing rheumatologists. The front staff told me lie after lie about why they didn't have some of my medical documents and my X-Ray images that was on a CD. They will make up every excuse to not hold themselves accountable because they know I could sue them potentially. I brought this up to the attention of Angela and Mikayla who oversee the clinic and got banned instead. I'm sure some people have had good experiences at this clinic, but I wouldn't take any chances at all. I only kept going because my insurance provided a very limited number of rheumatologists I could see and the others didn't sound promising. Thank God I advocated for my myself hard and still convinced Dr. Sivaraman to prescribe me a DMARD before I stopped seeing her. Because of that medication, I was able to get back on my feet and start working again. She was about to make me someone else's problem because she didn't care to look into things more. It's thanks to me that I'm doing better. Maybe now, I can actually receive a diagnosis soon. Save yourself time and energy, and don't come here.

They provide an excellent level of patient care. Dr. Harvey is an interesting individual - if you get a chance, take the time to read his bio. He is very personable and doesn't exude an air of arrogance like you can find in many physicians out there. He has provided me with over a year of care for my foot conditions, finally performing a procedure on one of my feet for (hopefully) permanent relief. The front desk staff can be a bit gruff, but once you get backstage it gets a lot better.

My situation was a strange one, but Dr. Martinez and I worked together on a solution. Ever since my procedure, my quality of life has skyrocketed. I definitely plan on returning for another round of treatment after the summer! I have fibromyalgia, arthritis in might entire body, especially where all the metal is, as well as a lot of other issues. I'm telling you this so you understand when I tell you, I'm in an excruciating pain, you understand why. I was looking for a new pain doctor before he got upset when I confronted him & he told me "we were not on the same page" & sent me a generic letter saying he was no longer going to be my doctor. It also said, which is also a law that he would provide for me for the next 30 days. He lowered the muscle relaxers when he was supposed to increase them & lowered the pain medicine per day when he was not supposed to. My pain is unbearable and stops me dead in my tracks at times and he knows this, he doesn't care!!! He changed both without saying anything. Again, if you read you will see I cannot have my pain meds lowered. The worst, I have not even mentioned yet, Twice Megan said to me " I cannot help you" both times of course she was able to One time the last time, my pharmacy did not have the pain pills so I needed her to send it to a new pharmacy & needed her help finding one that had the meds that her other patients had gone to and gotten the meds. She told me "she could not help me, there was nothing she could ", another words I would have no pain pills. For the hundredth time, I had to tell her " obviously you have never been in chronic severe pain" or you would understand, I cannot be without my pain pills! Which any pain management place should know! The other time she told me "she could not help me, there was nothing she could do " she sent an order with the wrong description so it didn't go through the insurance. When I called her at first, I gave her the codes & what to say. She did not do it incorrectly and it did not go through the as approved. All she had to do was redo it but, no, she said." I can't help you there's nothing we can do." AGAIN. The other Office called her & in 2 seconds it went through and was taken care of. Dr. Martinez sees her tex and doesn't think anything wrong with them!!! which shows once again he doesn't care anymore. Which is really, really sad!!! It saddens me to even say any of this! My last visit I begged him for 20 minutes for a prescription pain cream that helps. It is not a controlled substance just prescription strength Voltaren. He told me on the end " when it's not covered, are you gonna come back & tell me I'm right?" of course it was covered. I brought it with the sheet from the pharm & quoted him and "asked him if I was right?" When he said I needed to find another doc "we won't on the same page" he was right. No, we were not, He quit caring. I was already looking for an another Dr, but hadn't found one yet. When I begged him for 20 minutes for that cream it was, in front of a student. I pray to God that student does not think that's acceptable behavior from any doc. There are more examples but sadly, you get the drift. Normally, I would never wish my pain on my worst enemy. But I wish him & Megan would be in this kind of extreme awful unbearable pain for a year at least, Than, maybe just maybe they would care again!! I say this for his patients he has now & his future patients. I don't know if Megan ever cared, but I do know he did at one point. Maybe he was insulted that I was still in such pain I don't know.? Again I was trying to find someone else, who cared & listened, before his letter!! how could anyone who cared someone's muscle relaxers and pain when their pain is so sharp it stops them dead in their tracks & all they can do is say oh my oh my God until they can move! A nurse advocate from the insurance company is actually having to get involved, since they do not acknowledge any of my text to correct the doses on my pills. They also never answered their phone anymore. AI does & then send you a Tex saying you left a message which they still do not return half the time. Again, it saddens me to write this!!!

A specialist had referred me to The Center for help w/ bone density , where learned I had osteoporosis. The Forteo treatments I was able to complete at home helped so that no surgery was needed on the pelvis. Over a period of time I have been on calcium supplements, at Adam's suggestion and see him now only once a year for an annual follow up.
