It made me so depressed and I had been to so many therapists and pain doctors to try to work it out as well as massages and chiropractors but no one could really fix it. Dr. Hapka was able to tell me exactly what was going on during the first visit and did a very extensive new patient visit including working the referred pain area which no one even caught prior to coming here. He also did cupping and did not pressure me to come back or anything. My husband YouTubed how to work the area he said the pain was really coming from and after a few weeks I was 100% better. I can go back to being pain free and lifting weights without pain or problems. I can't thank this guy enough!

We explored additional therapies over a short period, and I recall needling didn't work, but whatever - that stretch was enough once I committed to it and is my biggest takeaway from that time. To date, I have not seen nor heard of this particular exercise from anyone, including Google. Fast forward to the recent day I realize that my few decades of adult life stress that lives in my shoulders isn't going to fix itself and can no longer be ignored. My impatience, combined with an ease in scheduling, found me in Dr. Hill's office. After a week of doing exercises designed to loosen me up and help correct my posture, dry needling was performed yesterday. Y'all, I woke up wondering where my shoulders were because I couldn't feel them! And when a slow, dull ache began to build half an hour later, I easily found relief in a few of the exercises I had already been given. We still have more work to do together and I am so appreciative of their philosophy around treatment and how it's designed. You will get something on that 1st visit that will have you on a path to pain relief and better health. This practice is changing the way I physically live my life. I simply cannot say enough.

Let me begin by saying I typically hate doctors and their office staff, so many have no respect for…read moretheir customers whatsoever. Having said that, for me to be so pleased that I am willing to post a review has to be some indication of how pleased we were with Dr. Boothby's services. My wife had double, total knee replacement. Due to increased risk of clotting, Dr. Boothby was unwilling to perform both surgeries at once. But he performed each within less than 3 months of the other. Both went exceedlingly well. My wife was up and around, driving, almost normal again, within 60 days of each operation. After the first surgery, the rehab doctor looked at the incision and stitches with his mouth wide open and asked my wife, "Who did your surgery?" When she said, "Dr. Boothby," he replied, "Very nice," and called in others to show off Dr. Boothby's work to his assistants. Throughout the entire experience, Dr. Boothby has been exceedingly cooperative, his bedside manner has been excellent, and he has been willing to patiently explain everything and answer all of our questions. This should be the norm. Dr. Boothby's manner should not be the exception, BUT IT IS. It is second to none. What's more? His office staff have all been the same. His PA came in on an off day to remove my wife's stitches before the weekend so she could move around better with less discomfort. In fact, Dr. Boothby told us he left his former joint practice for this very reason, to ensure that all of his staff gave the best care possible to his patients. I ran into another patient of Dr. Boothby's at the DMV. Her procedures had been far more complicated, repairing injury rather than replacing. She said she could walk right again for the first time in years. If you're in need of any bone or joint treatment or surgery, visit Dr. Boothby. The address listed is old. How many hours in your life have you sat and waited for the doctor to see you? A bunch I will bet!…read moreWell I had a new experience today: I went in for my first chiropractic treatment, and it being my first visit I relied on my GPS to get me there. For some reason it took me the long way around to the office and following the GPS made me 8 minutes late with the traffic I encountered. The doctor refused to see me and told me to come back at 3:15, to which I said "I don't think so." Of course he did not tell me himself, he sent his wife/receptionist out to tell me. And incidentally, she was very kind and cordial, but he had taken the next patient waiting for their appt after mine into the room when I did not arrive precisely on time. I later wondered if the other patient was 15 minutes early because they had already experienced his disregard! Ha! Anyway, VERY unprofessional behavior. I was also told that the visit was 30 minutes, when in fact it was only 15 minutes. But the dr could have asked me to wait for 5 minutes and give me the next appt since he had given my appt away. For other reasons I decided to cancel all my future appointments with him; I needed further advice on my condition before trying his new treatment. However, after the way I was treated today I am not sure I would have wanted to return for any future treatment. He is very young in years and in business and obviously has a lot to learn. I am not speaking against his ability as a chiropractor, only his practice with patients. One thing is for sure, if you don't want to be punished like a middle-schooler, be sure to be right on time, even if you have a car wreck on the way!

Yeah, both arms -- just not at the same time thankfully! That's still a lot of upper extremity work, and Hand to Shoulder Center has been there through all of it. My current therapist Dustin is awesome. He really knows his stuff when it comes to shoulder recovery, and what I appreciate most is that he doesn't just stick to a rigid plan -- he adjusts to where I am in my recovery at any given time. Some days are different than others, and he gets that. He meets me where I'm at and figures out what I need in that moment, which honestly makes a huge difference when you're grinding through PT over a long stretch of time. The whole staff is really friendly and easy to be around. When you're coming in regularly for months at a time, that stuff matters more than people realize. Nobody makes you feel like just another appointment on the schedule -- they genuinely seem to care how you're doing, and that kept me motivated even on the tough days. If you're coming off a serious elbow or shoulder surgery and need a PT team that actually knows what they're doing AND treats you like a human being -- this is your spot. Can't recommend them enough. 10/10 would go back (hopefully I won't have to )
