You're telling me it took them almost a month of back-and-forth calls to discover this? Completely unacceptable. The X ray was done quickly and Dr Raynor's evaluation was thorough. On the next visit to give me the MRI results, all of the options, treatment suggestions and plans were expertly provided. After explaining my symptoms he had a pretty good idea what was wrong with me, and after an MRI his suspicions were correct that I had a stress fracture. It was such a relief to find out what was wrong with me, as I previously thought I had a muscle strain. Dr. Raynor's staff is also really nice and always concerned about my well-being. I really like the system of pre-visit online check-in at Texas Orthopedic Associates, so you don't have to spend each appointment filling out paperwork and you can actually get to your appointment on time. He first took X-rays to diagnose and explained in detail the cause and long-term ramifications yet a shot for now. He used a sonogram to pinpoint exactly where the injection should go. Injections are unpleasant but you want it to be on target for proper effectiveness. Unlike the previous doctor I used. Excellent bedside manner and plenty of explanation along the way. Now I see why his reviews were so good. No long waits in the outer office was his policy.

They wanted us to drop everything the day of the appointment for information or were going to reschedule, when the appointment had been in place for months and we both work. They were hostile. If you aren't a pro athlete, they don't care.
