This place was pretty terrible. I didn't like my food at all because the sauce was disgusting, and nothing tasted good. I had mistakenly thought they forgot my tostada until the server pointed out the sad corn tortilla that was buried in a pile of lettuce that looked like garnish. The whole plate was distasteful, and I asked to send it back. (which I NEVER do, so that tells you how bad it was) The server said "OK, one moment" and returned with a person whom I assume was the manager, saying "What's wrong with it?" I told him what was wrong, and he basically shrugged his shoulders and said "not my problem," and proceeded to charge me full a plate full of crap that I didn't even eat. Any reputable restaurant would have at least apologized and offered to get me something else instead, but clearly the staff was not the least concerned with pleasing its customers. Good luck with that attitude.....if you don't care about your customers, and you keep up those kinds of shady business practices, the community has no reason to care about you or the survival of your crappy restaurant. read more

Recently visited in their proud new location on the north end of the city. Decor is very professional and the food is simply amazing. On top of being impressed by the atmosphere and dining experience, the owners take extreme care and pride insuring you have the best experience. Thus, the service you receive is primo. I recommend the Texas Fajita Bowl as it is loaded with delicious tender meat and the green peppers are so fresh it's like they just came from the garden. You are treated with a very large cup of beverage of choice and all the chips you can devour. Didn't appreciate the owner mistreating my disabled wife! We went to Luna Maya with a group of 12 and were enjoying our meal. My wife has a disability and we brought her service animal. The staff started to vacuum the dining area while we were eating and it startled our service animal. He did a single bark and got back on duty under the table. The owner came to the table and demanded a license for the dog. My wife explained that there is no official license for service animals and offered an ADA information card we keep handy on us. It is illegal to ask for a license. The owner refused the card and proceeded to demand a license and reprimand us for not telling him that we were bringing a dog in and my wife offered the card again. He refused again but then left us alone. Then on the way out after we paid he decided to tell us he wanted to show us something and pulled up a Google search on dogs in restaurants. We offered the card again and he refused to accept it or even look at it. He was very rude and ignorant. We will not be back! read more

This was formaily Fiesta Cancun.... a local favorate that changed ownwes. The look and feel have been changed slightly adding a full bar and back room to allow more room for diners. I have been to Luna Maya plenty of times and not once did I have a problem until now. I had 10 orders that I called for, I read all 10 orders, then I had the lady read all 10 orders back to me. I asked for the price and they gave me the price. I calculated everything on my own, to see what my co-workers owed. It was nearly the same price minus some cents. I took all of the prices from there ONLINE menu. After returning with the food, I opened my order, there were several things missing some items had no cheese, some were the wrong meat, and some had no rice, and one complete meal missing. I called them immediately about this and they were huge ASSHOLES about it, and said if I wanted to drive all the way back there they would give me my 10th order. Why do I need to drive all the way back there when they messed up? I called back and asked Oscar to read each order to me and tell me the price. After two seconds of telling me the first order, he says the prices on the ONLINE menu are WRONG. Even though we do great business there and do it often, he did not want to reimburse the money for the 10th order, did not want to discuss anything, and kept saying "just look on the wall, I have a piece of paper saying check your order". This place might not look like much, tucked into a strip mall by a tanning salon, but its worth looking into. My lunch consisted of a potato burrito and spinach quesadilla. the potato burrito was basically deliciously mashed potatoes inside a burrito. Amazing! I could have had three more. The quesadilla was crisp and creamy with a strong presence of spinach. I was dining alone and the staff was respectful enough to not check in too often, but enough to make me feel like I had what I needed. I look forward to my next time here! read more

My favorite Mexican place to eat. I can't speak to its authenticity (never been to Mexico), but I have loved every meal I have ever eaten here, and it's been many. I have always had very prompt and polite service. The food has not always been fast (depending on how many customers they have at a given point, although this has improved greatly recently), but it is hot, and delicious. So, so delicious. The free chips and salsa are a huge perk. The salsa is so good that I want to drink it with a straw. No matter what I order, whether it's Burritos Cho Cho or the Burrito Grande, it's always perfectly cooked, and made to my preferences (I'm allergic to the red sauce and hate hot lettuce, their staff has never screwed that up). I have yet to try a margarita, as I am usually driving, but I hear they are delicious. read more
