Background: I grew up in New Jersey surrounded by some of the best Italian in the world outside of Italy, so when I eat Italian, I have very high expectations. Despite the large party the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was pleasant, and most importantly, the food was top notch. I am not one to order off menu, but I was in the mood for chicken parmigiana, and didn't want a complete meal. Giacomo (and the kitchen, of course) accommodated my request of a chicken parmigiana sandwich. The cutlet was nicely breaded and perfectly charred with a very robust marinara and wonderful Wisconsin cheese. I am honest when I say it is the best chicken cutlet parm I've had since I left home. Absolute perfection. Though I was throughly focused on my sandwich, I couldn't help but to notice the choices of those around me. The pizzas looked wonderful with hand tossed crusts and fresh toppings. The fish (both fried and baked) looked great. And the gluten free folks in our party gave very positive reviews. (Your yelp hours are 9 pm) Fine. A bit rude but whatever. I order a salad and chicken wings. I was told 20 minutes. 15 minutes later I get a phone call saying they are out of wings. I call back and they told me they will not be making my food at all as the cook does not want to cook anymore and they are closing up now. If I wanted to I could come back tomorrow and order. Wow. It's like a child was left in charge of your resteraunt. She apparently had no control over the cook...and it did not seem like it was a big deal to her.
