Last summer, Robert brought me Trollbead bracelet back from Boston. It had a Green Prism, two stoppers and the swan clasp. I loved it from the moment I got it and I wanted more but no one sold them here. I did find one store during my visit to San Francisco but the salesperson was not interested in selling anything and the selection was very limited. So needless to say no sale. We ordered a custom ring from Luna Jewels several years ago. Within the first year, two of the smaller stones fell out. Just recently the large center stone fell out, and as I have since moved to Germany, I found an excellent goldsmith here to do the repair. €125 later, she sent this note with my repaired ring: "The ring is not technically well made. The aquamarine is too big for the setting. The stone should actually be set deeper in the setting, but the setting is too thin and it would break. The stone is solid now but unfortunately I can't give any guarantees. If you put too much pressure on the prongs it could come loose again. For such a large stone, the manufacturers have skimped on the material." I suspected this of course, after the first couple of stones came out, but they tried to blame the damage on me, when I knew I had not bumped it nearly hard enough (or at all) for stones to be falling out! Highly recommend against this shop for reasons of both quality and integrity. read more

Andre and his lovely wife Meghan couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with! We arrived on a cruise ship into Honolulu and were getting married at the next port of Lahaina the next day. My grandmother's ring, given to her by my grandfather, was left to my parents. It had fifteen tiny diamonds embedded in it, so my mom decided to split the diamonds between my two siblings and I so we could all carry a piece of my grandparents with us. If it wasn't for Yelp, my wedding band would have cost more than the wedding/reception, and probably it would have broke as well. I wanted my wedding band to have both aquamarine and blue sapphire on white gold (aquamarine for my bday and sapphire for my late mom). After shopping around for the that particular arrangement, I thought that I had found the place to have my band made. Chotto Matte.. I'm sure I could find some where that they can make it for a bit less than that it is being asked for. Going on Yelp I found Luna Jewels and yelpers have said that they are very satisfied with what they have made for them. Managed to visit with both Andre and Meghan with my fiance at the time, and what struck me is how informative they both were. I'm not the girl type to be all blinged out and I do not know much of jewels, but being told that one of the jewels is a very SOFT stone and it may not work out as a wedding band...!?? Ugh! I'm not upset that my wedding band did not have my birthstone. I am upset that the other place that I was about to put in an order with DID NOT TELL ME that one of the stones were soft. When my engagement ring stone fell out and got lost I was devastated to say the least. It was an antique unique two-colored sapphire and it felt like I was never going to find a decent and reasonable replacement.
