Small business, great guy! So helpful and communicative, I'd trust this company with all of my jewelry

I sent watch resize project out to three jewelers. Two said they were closed today. But Ted's said come in, open at 9:00 a.m. I went, friendly service, fast service, did exactly as I asked. Under $20. You can't ask better than that. Mahalo for your excellent service. read more

Today was my first time at Ted's, and I had a great experience. The staff was so helpful and kind. I absolutely love the 14k gold jade ring I purchased. I'm looking forward to visiting Ted again :) read more

I went here to replace a battery for a heritage watch my late grandma gave me. When I came to pick it up, the worker said they couldn't replace the battery because it is a very old watch? I was like hmm okay and accepted that as fact. I brought it to another watch repair place to try again. This place told me they couldn't replace the battery because someone tampered with the watch. They asked me if I ever had it worked on and I shared yes. Anyways they told me they would have to overhaul of the watch to see what needs to be fixed which would cost me $200+ Now my grandmas watch is forreal broken... read more

I brought in my grandfather's 14k gold and jade ring -- one of the last things I have from him -- to have it downsized. Ted treated it with real care, explained everything clearly, and gave me a fair, honest price. Knowing he does the work himself made me feel comfortable trusting him with something so sentimental. When I picked it up the next day, the craftsmanship was beautiful and the fit was perfect. I felt genuinely grateful. read more

Good man, good business. Love seeing what he has in store. Definitely worth a stop. Will be coming back again.

Teddy fixed the bale on my wife's favorite necklace. He did a fantastic job and was very helpful with quesitons.

I can't say enough good things about Ted's Jewelry. He brought my 26-year-old engagement ring back to absolute brand-new brilliance--it honestly took my breath away. On top of that, they fixed and cleaned my 25-year-old Tag Heuer watch, which now looks and works beautifully. The service was honest, friendly, and professional, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work they did. It's clear they truly care about their craft and their customers. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, skilled jewelry and watch service. Mahalo! read more

Amazing. Ted calmed my fears of getting jewelry repaired. I had jewelry stolen previously and well, I was really nervous, but the chain and pendant that I have been wearing for years has grown to be a big part of me. I only remove it for medical procedures if needed, so when the chain broke...gasp. I found Ted on Yelp and so glad I did. He is amazing, fast and extremely honest. Definitely, will go there again. read more

Found this place through yelp and the reviews hold up. Had a smaller gold necklace with a diamond cross pendant where the chain had snapped up by the clasp. Ted is friendly, honest, and genuinely wants to help people with issues like these. Fast work too. I will be doing all of my jewelry repairs through here from now on. Mahalo Ted! read more

Went here to get a ring sized. I was treated with kindness and professionalism. Everything went well. The ring was resized in the time that I was quoted. When it was ready it fit well and looked/still looks beautiful. read more

Another visit to this great little shop. They did a quick resize of some rings and did a great job for a reasonable price. Very good place to go! read more

Whoever those kids are on the back wall of the shop are super lucky to have Ted as their father/grandfather, who is not only kind and welcoming, but also hard-working and dedicated to quality work! I've brought three pieces of jewelry to fix including 3 necklaces and 1 chain ring. One of the necklaces, I cut the thin chain when I was cutting off the tag (I have butter fingers), but Ted was able to reattach it seamlessly. The other necklace, I bought online and thought I measured the correct length from the neckline to chest, but it was too long, so Ted helped me readjust the length to exactly where I wanted the pendant to end up. Most recently, I was fiddling with my chain ring when my finger was swollen after eating and sitting all day, so a chain link broke! I didn't want to lose the broken chain, so I closed the link myself and Ted kindly re-aligned it for me and resealed it! The corrections costed $35/jewelry, an affordable price to be able to rewear my favorite accessories as opposed to replacing them entirely! read more

Great service from Ted's Jewelry. I needed to have the clasp on a necklace replaced, and he did us while I waited. I also had a problem with an earring, which he fixed at no cost. This is the kind of business you want to support. read more

30 minutes to replace my watch battery. Very reasonable price too. I recommend. Can just park in municipal parking lot adjacent. It was free since I left within the grace period when I picked up. read more

Went in to get some links taken out of my new watch to fit my wrist. When I arrived there were no other customers. We agreed on taking a few links out. He started the work and then another customer walked in. He stopped working on my watch and helped the other customer. I was a little miffed but I let it go. Then 2 min later, another customer walked in and he helped them istead of finishing my watch. He never said a word to me. What horrible customer service. Will never go back. This guy sucks! read more

Great Experience with Ted!! Street meter parking or paid parking lot. Called on a Tuesday to see if they change watch batteries. Yes they do! They close at 3:00 so I went the next day. I brought 3 watches in and fitted a watch. I spent just under $70 and left a happy camper. Thank you Ted for the great service. I'll be back again. read more

Ted was able to quickly help figure out how best to repair and secure multiple bracelets that were jade, gold and Tahitian pearls. I had been afraid to wear them after the safety chain broke on two of them and the other two had loose clasps. I couldn't believe how quickly he fixed them all and his labor prices are extremely reasonable. His shop is located on Ewa side of 12th avenue. I parked in the lot on Diamond Head side of 12th avenue by the Koa Pancake House and walked across the street, but there was also street parking if you're lucky to get one. When you ring the bell, Terence will open for you so you also feel secure when inside. I will definitely return to get more of my jewelry redesigned and also purchase some Hawaiian as that is his specialty. He has some lovely pieces of every kind of jewelry available for sale as well, including vintage watches which I prefer. Mahalo to Ted for staying in business to help us all continue to wear our favorite jewelry and/or legacy pieces. read more

I purchased another Citizen watch with a band that was too large. Naturally, I went back to my go-to watch repair shop, Ted's Jewelry. Once again, the service was outstanding. The staff greeted me with a smile and promptly attended to resizing my watch band. I left the shop extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend visiting Ted's Jewelry for all your watch and jewelry needs. The friendly service, quick turnaround, and dedication to customer satisfaction are second to none. Plus, supporting local businesses like Ted's is always a great choice! read more

Had a few things that I needed- new batteries for a few watches, a broken clasp on a tennis bracelet, and 2 Japanese character clocks that weren't working, even with new batteries. I called Ted's Jewelry, and he said come on down! I walked in, and felt a comfortable, simple kind of vibe. He took a look at the clocks, and so sad but they don't do clocks, only watches but gave me a couple of recommendations. Left my watches for battery replacements and the bracelet he said he can fix but better to replace with a new clasp. I trusted his suggestion and he said pick up in two days. Old school receipt, on the back of his business card, because hey, if it works, why change it? I got a phone call the very next day, and he said it's ready, I can pick up early. Love my bracelet, very secure and reasonably priced. Watch batteries are $25 each for certain types, or $18 for others. My Baby G's are from Japan and need the eco drive batteries so had to be special ordered. I love supporting local businesses and always appreciate the extra customer service. Will definitely be back again for any other jewelry repairs. read more

The other week my wedding band split at the bottom and was in need of a jewelry repair shop. Thank goodness for Yelp! I found Ted's in my neighborhood. Nestled off of 12th Ave is this cute Jewlery shop. I stopped in to see if I could get it soldered back. Ted the owner looked at my ring and said all he needed to do was add a little gold and solder back. Told me all he needed was an hour. I was able to go have some lunch and come back to a fixed wedding ring. I was so happy. The shop is filled with other gold pieces and precious metals. His specialty is Hawaiian Jewelry. They make custom orders and can re-enamel bracelets. Definitely coming back. I'm so glad to find a jewelry shop in my neck of the woods. Going back to get some of my other jewelry repaired. read more

I looked on Yelp for a watch battery replacement and repair shop and was pleasantly surprised to find one right in my neighborhood. I bring all my jewelry repair from broken gold chain links, watch repairs, even various items for sale. I recently got a gold chain wristlet repaired for a Mother's Day gift for my wife. It was an family heirloom that was passed down to her from her grandmother. Ted ensured me the repair would be done the next day and he delivered. The repairs were very intricate and unnoticeable. My wife was so happy to see the gold wristlet repaired and hasn't taken it off since. read more

I lost a stone in a ring that had great sentimental value, and my favorite earrings needed repair. I looked on the internet & chose Ted's because they had good reviews & the location was convenient. I had not shopped around for price, but the quote appeared reasonable, so I had them do the repairs. Expecting the job would be done in a week, as promised, I was delighted to receive a call back that same afternoon telling me the jewelry would be ready for pick up the next day. I am enjoying wearing my ring and earrings again & couldn't be more happy with the job done by Ted's Jewelry. Edited to add - the 2nd stone from the left looks darker than the rest in the photo, but in reality it does not. Also, it is not the stone that was replaced. I just don't want anyone to think Ted gave me an inferior stone. read more
