Experience is night and day depending on who you get, and if bought online, or prepaid discount pkg…read more(usually sold after a great first time experience). Similar to other reviews, once money is sunk, you'll likely see shady practice where "the good therapist" is usually unavail or they'll double book and game your time until you settle for others. I had a great first massage, followed by some of the worst by others...barely any effort or movement. One essentially just held my hand for a good 5 min (I thought she fell asleep). I've had stronger handshakes. This is unethical. If they want to render less service for deals, it should be stated upfront rather than bait and switch.

When I started itching for a massage, I decided to check groupon to see what was available. These…read moredays, yelp spoils me so much that right next to the groupon window, I almost always have a yelp window open to check reviews before I purchase anything. Yup, I'm that chic. No shame over here. It's money so I better make sure it's well spent. From the description, they were offering a "pure relaxation" massage and I instantly had images of myself laying on the beach with a big fat umbrella, two insanely hot guys fanning me, the sound of slowly lapping waves in the distance, and some ice cold water being handed to me by an insanely hot chic. Ahhhh.. Back to reality. This is a massage we're talking about. I saw Tommy's name mentioned a few times in the reviews so I decided to book with him. Upon walking in, I was greeted, offered water and then introduced to the man himself. He walks me back to his private room where he shows me the table, asks me which spots he wants me to focus on (lower back, scalp).. He proceeds to give me a super relaxing, firm (but not super firm where I would consider it deep tissue) massage. The hour flew by and before I knew it, it was time to go. If you're looking for a spot to get a great massage with a skilled therapist, come to see Tommy.

I heard good things about this place from a friend and came here for a full body massage. I had…read morepain in my neck and lower back and Susan was super helpful in getting rid of my knots! I felt loose and so much better after. She asked me if the pressure was fine which I appreciated. I also told her to avoid an arm area. The vibe was super quiet and relaxing too. It was $61 total not including tip for the body massage for an hour and I thought that was such a great price. It might've been extra for the hot stones though so it would be cheaper without it. The front desk had me pay beforehand and they take card/venmo! I usually pay after for massages so I didn't know that the tip was expected with the masseuse in the room right after the massage but luckily I had cash on me! I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!!

I was happy they could still take me as a walk-in -- it made the whole experience easy and stress-free from the start. Before the pandemic, a full hour was under $40 (before tip -- such a steal). It's now $60, but honestly, that's still very reasonable compared to most places. For the quality of work you're getting, it's absolutely worth it. The therapist was amazing. She was attentive, intuitive, and incredibly thorough. She found and worked through my knots without me even having to point anything out. She regularly checked in about pressure and adjusted perfectly. At one point, she incorporated some traditional walking techniques, which really elevated the experience and helped release deeper tension. I hadn't had a massage in a few years due to pregnancy and on-going recovering from an injury, so my body truly needed it. I walked out feeling lighter, looser, and completely relaxed. That night, I had one of the best sleeps I've had in a long time. If you're looking for a place that's affordable, professional, and genuinely focused on helping you feel better, this is it. Simple, welcoming, and effective -- sometimes that's exactly what you need.

Writing from the massage chair as I wrap up my first visit -- and I am already a regular…read more This place was a Mother's Day gift, and what a gift it was. I came in for a 90-minute Vital Premium Scrub and left completely transformed. First, the space itself: spotlessly clean, with none of the black mold issues I've seen creeping into older spas in the Saratoga area. That alone is a relief. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Young, and she is in a class of her own. Small but telling detail: she uses a gel face pillow so you can lay face-down comfortably the entire session. If you've had enough massages, you know how much a folded towel starts to hurt after an hour. I asked if this was a house standard -- it's not, it's just her. That kind of thoughtfulness sets the tone for everything. Her scrub technique was the best I've experienced in 20 years. No exaggeration. Her massage hit every trigger point without me having to redirect her once -- pressure, focus, timing -- all dialed in perfectly. The front desk staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and they personally walk new guests through the space so you never feel lost. The one area with room to grow: the aftercare products in the drying area. Having visited spas in Palo Alto, and even facilities in South East Asia, I've come to appreciate a quality face lotion and hair cream post-scrub -- especially when you're not carrying your own. A small upgrade there would make this truly flawless. Also worth noting: there's a communal lounge with 30 minutes of complimentary massage chairs, laptop workspace, and free WiFi. Hidden gem. ANDDD there's a cafeteria!! This is my new favorite spa. Hands down.

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!
