Maybe because it is new, but took 20 minutes to get a Greek salad with 4 pieces of chicken and slices of pita with hummus. Wouldn't come here for lunch, takes too long! Also I thought it was pricey, $4.25 to add 4 bite size pieces of chicken. Staff were nice and attentive. I think you get more for your money at Panera and better Greek salad. Total spent $19.38 for lunch read more

Had an amazing experience here at the oxnard location, all thanks to cassie who goes above and beyond every single time.

food was great, customer service was awesome. Thank you Cassie for being kind.!!!!!!!!

For this place just opening, service is great and the food is delicious!! I had the chicken kabob plate. The chicken was so juicy, tender and flavorful! The rice is fluffy and compliments the proteins very well! Salad fresh and yummy too! My daughter ate all of her kids cheeseburger. Bun was soft and beef was juicy! Husband ordered a gyro wrap with a Greek salad. He loved it. I tried the gyro and it was really flavorful. We highly recommend the spicy cilantro hummus! Only we wish we ordered it with veggies instead of pita bread because they gave us so much that we couldn't finish. You do have that option to get pita bread or veggies. Next time! We will definitely be back! read more

I had the pleasure of eating at this spot about a week ago and the staff was so friendly and the customer service provided was impeccable. It was my first time ordering at this spot as i'm new to the area and Diah, cassie and nicole were so eager to help me pick out a dish that would suit my interests. The staff, Diah, Cassie, and the GM, Racheal are absolutely amazing. The best customer service I've received anywhere (5 star restaurants included). Their food is perfectly prepared. I recommend Luna Grill 100%. All day, every day. read more

I was lucky to participate in their "soft opening" and it was amazing. I ordered their spinach pie appetizer, which was deliciously flakey and stuffed with larges amount of spinach and feta; as well as their bistro filet beef kabob. The beef was so tender and savory while the bell peppers and onions were grilled to a perfect texture. I was happy with their drink selection as well, and could not resist their option of pomegranate lemonade. I look forward to frequenting this establishment. read more

The food here is on point! The service is just as good or better!! Generous portions of extremely well prepared food and as a Mediterranean food lover I can honestly say it's sooo satisfying!! You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients in the food is not greasy so you really feel good about what you're eating. My sister is a vegan and we were both able to eat happily here which is NOT common. The staff here is super friendly and did not mind at all when I had a few picky little extras to ask for amazing value for the price!! Even though it's counter service they do bring your food and treat you as good or better than a sit down restaurant so don't forget to tip these hard-working folks!! My only wish is that they would add calamari!! read more

Great fresh tasting Mediterranean food. We got the flat cut chicken plate and the filet plate. Comes with meat, rice, salad, pita and either carrots or tomato. My family ate here tonight for the trial run. I had the beef kabobs. The meat was very tasty and tender. I would definitely eat it again. Everything was pretty good and the portions were plenty. I wasn't really thrilled with the lettuce for the salad, it kind of had a bagged taste. The people were nice but nothing really exciting. The cashier we had was the most engaged out if the several people who helped us. My son's food showed up way after our other meals and our appetizer took awhile. I do understand this is their first day. Hopefully they work out the kinks. The price of everything is pretty reasonable especially since everything is organic and free range and etc. The decor is trendy and pleasing. And a bonus, they have a military discount! read more

The food is ok, but the cashier won't allow us to use the coupon code that was texted to us when we signed up for the text notification. Not sure why they asked people to sign up through text, but won't honor it? read more

Excellent restaurant. We actually drove quite a ways out of our way on our last trip just to go here! Excellent service and good food! The manager Laurie remembered us and this place gets five stars because of her and the way she runs this restaurant! Stopped for lunch today and got the Modern Greek Salad and added salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned. Very tasty!! I had asked for the dressing of the salad to be on the side because most places over-dress, but the salad came with dressing, and luckily had the right amount! Service was good and my food came out quickly. It was about $18 for my salad with the added on salad. Even though it's a little pricier for a quick lunch, I would definitely come back and order this again! read more

When they first open, even in the training day, everything was great. service, the food, etc.excellent. Lately, especially when the manager (nice guy) is not in the premises, THE RICE IS The grilleD tomato was picked from the fridge and put COLD in my table. IF THEY DO NOT CORRECT THE KITCHEN AND THE LONG WAITING, they going to loose all their customers. I hope they correct those errors, I like the place. read more

I love Luna Grill and often frequent the Ventura location on my lunch breaks. Their food is super consistent and always tastes super fresh! I always feel great after eating at Luna and have tried quite a few different things from their menu. This time, I visited the Oxnard location and had an amazing experience. The manager at this location is extremely friendly, helpful, honest, and efficient. She came up to our table and hand-delivered our food. She made great conversation with me and my date. She was extremely kind to her employees and made sure everything in our order was perfect. Definitely check out Luna Grill for your next healthy meal :) read more

i Usedto order from the ventura location and stopped because of poor service and burnt falafels. Had picked up lunch here yesterday and it was amazing. I was going to order the kebob but I was torn with what to order so the employee that was taking my order recommended the thin cut chicken. I took her recommendation and it was amazing. The chicken was so tender and the rice and salad finished it off just right. I got my husband and my son burgers from a burger place nearby because that it what they asked me to bring home but when I got home they tried mine and loved it. The next day they asked me if I could pick them up some food from Luna's. I got my son and I the same thing I ordered the day before but I got my husband the steak and chicken kebob combo. My husband said the steak was nice and tender and again said the chicken was amazing. I think the thin cut chicken was a little more tender than the kebob but some prefer their chicken a little charred and if that's the case the kebob would be a better choice. Both though are to die for. I used to have to drive to the valley to get good Greek food so I am glad Luna's made it to Oxnard. The place is very nice and the prices are worth the quality of food you are getting and the staff is nice and helpful. read more

It gets 4 starts for the food. Absolutely amazing! But the service needs some work, I am very understanding of a new restaurant and the kinks that come with opening but that being said I had a less then pleasant experience today picking up my lunch. I placed a phone order for a friend and myself. When I arrived only 1 order had been entered. Okay no problem, I gave my order to the girl and they even discounted my meal $2, awesome! But then I waited 30 minutes for my food. When I finally came to the counter to ask about the wait I was told my food had been ready for some time but the server couldn't find me (I was sitting directly in front of the counter making eye contact with the staff) I was annoyed that nearly my entire lunch break had been wasted, unnecessarily. And had to rush back to work to hastily eat my cold, but delicious, meal. I will return to this location but I'll give it a few months for them to get in order a little more. read more

My recent trip here was for lunch and I cannot believe how great it was. I got the chicken salad with Israeli couscous. I am a person who eats a LOT of salads. But this was literally the best salad I've ever had. Or at least the best salad that I can remember having. (I apologize if another salad I've said this about is reading this. ) Everything about the salad was perfect. From the texture of the lettuce to the couscous and the way the chicken was seasoned and grilled. They serve the salads with a few small pieces of pita bread and that was delicious and obviously just-made. The place was very clean and the service was great. I guess because they just opened, they were bringing around hummus and other small bites to sample and it was all excellent. Just delicious food that you could taste was made well with good ingredients and freshly done. The manager told me a SB location is opening summer 2017 and I can't wait to try that location out, too. read more
