This place is a gem! I worked with Juan to order everything for my graduation party and everything was perfect. He was friendly abd helpful and the delivery was correct and punctual. But, the food is DELICIOUS. I recommend trying everything :) We had enough food for the party with lots of leftovers to send home plates with people. The whole experience was easy and pleasant, and I will definitely be bringing Gyromania in again for our next gathering. Thank you Juan for your excellent service :) read more

Great food and great value at this Greek-inspired spot. My wife and I went with a Gyro wrap each and I upgraded my included fries to a feta fries. The upgrade came with a free drink and the guys threw in another drink at no charge. I also added their spanakopita and the baklava at the end. The portions were huge and even 2 adults and 2 kids couldn't finish everything. The Lamb gyro wrap was delicious, topped with multiple sauces and veggies. The lamb was just brought out and tasted very fresh, juicy, savory and delicious. The french fries was very yummy and the spanakopita was super crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The baked spinach filling tasted superb. To finish out our huge meal, the baklava did the trick. It was also super fresh, pretty hot temperature-wise and the nutty filling tasted very yummy. The spot itself is spacious, has many tables of a cool light-blue color. The customer service was excellent. The guys working there went above and beyond to make sure my family was satisfied. Great spot and no wonder it's ranked very high on Yelp. Well deserved! We'll be back for more! read more

If you want a ton of food at a reasonable price, this is the place for you!! Hard to believe this place isn't packed all the time. The place is clean and has a nice Greek inspired decor. The staff is friendly and will help with food choices. I always like the lamb, but they also have beef, chicken, and pork. You order at the counter as they make your dish in front of you. Bottom line -- great food at a good price. read more

Enjoyed another good lunch at Gyromania. It was a weekday and not busy, around 11:00 am. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and he took our orders immediately at their counter. Our lunches were made quickly and accurately. I've been here a few times previously and the portions are always large. The fries are crispy and seasoned well. The restaurant dining room is spacious and clean. Solid option for a Greek lunch near the Navy Base. read more

More wonderful meals this month from Gyromania! The falafel, beef, chicken souvlaki, hummus, tzatziki and rice (my favorites) are consistently delicious, with perfect flavors and textures. The portions are generous and the servers always friendly. I look forward to the next visit. Thank you Gyromania! read more

Gyro wrap with lamb and spicy feta. Wrap was a good size with the toppings that didn't fall out. Helped to have tzatziki sauce on the side in case extra lamb and toppings fell out, along with utensils. Wrap was overall good in taste and texture. Fries were a good compliment too. Service was thorough and helpful. Ambiance was nice for a Tuesday afternoon. Restaurant had Halloween decorations do it isn't plain inside. Will come back again. read more

The food was fresh and amazing. We ordered a lamb gyro and a chicken gyro. The "waiter" was super polite and accommodating. I wanted to make sure that my food was not spicy, so he literally gave me a different chicken recipe (Lemon Chicken). It was delicious. Service was fast and very friendly. We took it home and thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

The food was fresh, service was excellent! The amount of food is a lot! Very clean, not loud at all. I had the cater for me for 50 guests. The food came exactly on time and was hot! read more

The gyro meat is precooked and held in a warmer. They would not do well done for me. Their Tzatziki sauce is probably the worst I've ever had. It was bland devoid of any tanginess one comes to expect. I have had countless of gyros in Europe and the states. I'm a huge gyro fan and this place just isn't it. I will not be back. The service was friendly and the place was clean. read more

Excellent service! They pile the meat sky high and are so friendly. The watermelon water is so delicious. Can't wait to come back!! Everything is nice and clean! read more

Food was quick but very fresh. My friends had the Greek salad and my other friend had the lamb. I had the pea soup and it was amazing as good as the old Andersons. They have a great jalapeño greek garlic sauce called OMG which is amazing. The pita bread is very fresh too and the greek quesadillas were good too. The servers behind the counter are very pleasant and efficient. Great place for dine in or takeout. read more

Gyromania is a pretty decent place to get Mediterranean food at. You get so much bang for your buck! We got two plates and it was so much food. I had a lot of leftovers. I specifically got the chicken and chicken skewers plate. Yes, you can mix two different meats together and they gave a lot! Both of the meats were pretty tender. The thing about the skewers is that it didn't look like skewers at all. They just look like bigger pieces of meat. The sauces were all good. I got the hummus and tzatziki, but you can get other sauces on the side if you want. The negatives is the rice. It kind of tasted like Mexican rice to me. It should've been made with basmati rice. Other than that, the dish overall was well worth it. Fresh tasting with lots of veggies on the side. The employees were also really nice. I would come back again for my next Mediterranean food fix. read more

Stopped in to get dinner to go. We arrived around 5:30 and the place was empty but people came in after us and ordered food to go, which tells me this is more of a to-go establishment. They serve breakfast all day, which made my kids happy. They got the full stack of French toast and pancakes. I tried both and they were pretty good. My husband and I each got the chicken plate and split the gyromania fries, which is lamb, feta and their signature sauce on top of fries. Everything tasted fresh and was piping hot. We could barely eat half and had to save the rest for the next day. We also got the watermelon water, which was a little sweet for me, but my family loved it. The woman behind the counter was on the quiet side but she was helpful and answered all our questions. read more

Gyromania is located at the Seabridge shopping/dining center in Oxnard by Victoria and Wooley Rd. They also have locations in Stevenson Ranch and Santa Clarita too. It's a spacious restaurant with a Greek mural and there's lot of tables and seats. They have a simple menu of wraps, salads and plates. Absolutely huge portions here! We saw the server grab more meats with the tongs and load it up on my salad plate. You get to choose what you want to go in your salad like a Subway/Chipotle style of ordering. For $17, my lamb gyro salad was enough to share for 2 people! They also have soda and refreshing drinks here too but I stuck to ice water. There are return stations with trash bins and trays for plates available by the door after your meal is devoured. I needed a to-go container for my salad and don't forgot to grab the garlic white sauce and their spicy green sauce! :) read more

Not bad Greek joint. They are generous with portion. The only issue I had was the rice. It was regular medium grain rice. Authentic rice should be basmati rice used with saffron. The gyro meat had been sitting in the hot plate pan (buffet style) but overall, our experience was good. We're out-of-towners so it's not likely we'll be coming back even if the experience was memorable. I can only give this place 4 stars. The place was quaint that enhances the dining experience listening to the Greek music. Quality of food: A+ Quality of service: A+ Price: $$ read more

Order at the counter and they bring it to you. Not my fave already. I don't like to order standing up and them be prompted to tip.. The food was ok and the portions were generous but noe enough to keep me running back. I ordered dolmas, the were meat and rice stuffed. I couldn't eat half of it. Incas expecting "normal " dolmas which are small tasty and no meat. Then ambience was lacking, felt like fast food. read more

Been wanting to try this spot for a while now and finally made it today for lunch. So happy I stopped by because the food was delicious and the service was friendly. Located in the sea bridge shopping center this spot is easy to find and thankfully is located on the end so easier to find parking and get in and out. The building is well marked and upon walking inside, I was shocked to see this spot empty on a Friday at lunch. I hope people aren't sleeping on this spot because it's really good. Since it was empty I was able to go straight up to the counter and be helped right away. The gal who took my order was sweet and quick. She built my gyro plate in front of me and asked me to pick some different sides and toppings while she finished putting my to go box together. She was nice and patient explaining the options and very friendly. I told her for future reference what she recommended and she told me the gyro lamb pitas are on point and also their lemon chicken soup is her favorite. Those are both right up my alley so I'd come back to try her suggestions. The portion sizes here are beyond generous! Wasn't sure if it was just a slow day so they gave me a large portion but upon reading other reviews and talking to friends sounds like they give you a good amount of food for your money. A huge meat plate with rice, hummus, pita, and a salad + drink was $20. Pretty darn good given that easily this meal could be broken down into two plates to give you leftovers. The gyro meat here is very good and flavorful. I'm glad I got a plate so the flavors weren't lost being wrapped up in a thick pita. The rice was also tasty and had good flavor, a perfect pairing. Hummus was middle of the road - not the best I've had but definitely tasty. Pita was light and fluffy and I liked my little size bite of cucumber and olives she made me. Got a garlic sauce to go and the flavors all worked well together. Lastly I like that they have fresh juices, today the flavors were cucumber and watermelon. I went with watermelon, super fresh and a great option when you're not in the mood for a soda. This spot is perfect for a quick but filling lunch. The food was 5/5 delicious! Staff are nice, the restaurant is clean and spacious, and it's a good value. Will be back soon to try the gals next suggestions. read more

Gyromania has the best Greek food!! The star of the show are the lamb chops and fries. The lamb is tender and flavorful, and the fries are so crispy and well seasoned. Plates also come with a side salad and pita making this a well rounded meal. Besides the lamb, my absolute favorite thing from this restaurant is the sauces!! Every single one of them is good and they are generous with them. I highly recommend the garlic sauce (I could drink this straight) and jalapeño sauce. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. read more

Went to this place, it is a ghost town inside staff gave us food gyro for myself and some sort of plate for wife. We got food looked like it was sitting for awhile fries were stale and very few. Everyone should try their breakfast! Staff is always friendly with great customer service and the setup is always on point!

Good customer service. Lots of seating space. Both times we've visited, no more than a few customers occupying the dining area. I enjoyed the Gyros plate. Wished they cut the Gyros shawarma was freshly cut from a vertical spit, as opposed to coming out of a hot container pre-sliced. The pilaf is very good. Their sauces are okay. I like the hummus, but if you did not want your hummus infused with garlic, you're out of luck. The pita was good, but would have liked it on the hot stone a bit longer. All in all, a 3 out of 5. read more

I decided to try this place out for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the gyro plate which goes for $17.99. For this price you get a huge portion of gyro meat, a pita, a choice of sauce and a choice of one side. The gyro meat was sliced thick and they gave me such a huge portion it was basically impossible to finish, so plan on bringing home leftovers. I had the salad as my side and it was also delicious. The place is neat and clean and colorful inside. It's counter service here, a sort of cafeteria style, so you will put your food on a tray and help yourself to any seat you wish. I will certainly be returning to try out other items on the menu here. read more

Love that they let me order the kids breakfast at 1:00pm. I ordered the eggs over medium with French toast and added blueberries for a $1. The French toast was fluffy and scrumptious, the eggs were perfect and the blueberries were out of this world perfectly riped and sweet and a magnificent sourness to it! I did not miss the bacon. I come to this place often, a few times a week, it's always good except today, the portions were small, 1-2 of the meat was burnet black and not good. It's the girl behind the counter, she's disconnected from reality and the clients. I will insist on having the guy serve me next time, watch out for her, she will ruin your lunch, she did mine today, never again. read more

I went in to order a falafel wrap. Two people were in the office that looked out to order area. 10/10, Service was great very friendly and introduced me to the menu on what they recommend to me .

Pretty good Greek food. When you enter the restaurant the staff shouts "Opa!!" I got a lamb plate with fries instead of rice and a fountain soda. Cost was $23. A bit pricey but it was good. It definitely was not under seasoned. There was a lot of flavor in my lamb and it was extremely tender. I got the jalopeno sauce and garlic paste and both were good but I wish I got tzatziki sauce instead of the jalopeno. The restaurant is very Greek looking with nice artwork and music. Very clean too. read more

Nice & clean. Smells really good when you walk in. Super friendly employees. Their regular hummus is the best! I had a large (huge) Greek Salad and it was so fresh & crisp. The falafel were very good, too. They even added extra onions because I said I really liked onions. I also ordered a side of fried zucchini and I'm so glad I did. It was the best fried zucchini I've had in a long time. Lots of zucchini and a light golden batter. Not heavy at all. The price was very reasonable, too. I'll be back to try something new and I'll order more fried zucchini just because it was so good. What a treat! read more

OPAAAAA! This place gets 5 stars out of me on customer service alone. John was so incredibly nice to order from/with - second time coming here and he's been amazing each time. The restaurant is always clean, enough tables/space for large groups, it's just a good spot. Check it out! read more

I ordered a gyro wrap. The Good: The flavor is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, the place is clean, spacious with a lovely Greek theme in a convenient location. The Bad: I honestly wish they didn't stuff the gyro with SO much meat and ingredients, while this sounds strange, it becomes a mess to eat after a few bites and not as enjoyable. I've had many gyro wraps in Greece and they're a quick grab and go meal that you can comfortable eat while on the go. I would suggest to lower the quantities of ingredients and then you can lower the price a bit. Otherwise, add a "light" or "express" version of the wrap that has less ingredients, it's cheaper, and easy to eat on the go. I'm sure it would increase sales too. Not all Americans like huge portions. read more
