One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. And the açaí bowl was delicious. Wonderful customer service. Perfect little hidden gem here in Grover beach. Highly recommend!

Great food. Great service. Awesome atmosphere with island vibes. Happy staff and amazing food. As someone from the SF Bay Area we struggle to find good affordable and authentic philipeno food. As the only white boy in my family I certainly can speak for all of us when we loved this spot.

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Space: 5/5 Likeliness to return: 5/5 The space felt very cool and personal. My partner felt welcomed and connected to their roots. Great service and live music played during our visit and created an atmosphere that made me want to stay longer and return in the future. I ordered the longanisa slider and thought it tasted great and offered something unique. There were many comfortable places to sit and talk. The experience felt fun and refreshing and stood out from the usual places we visit. I would gladly come back.

Lumpia Bros Cafe has been on my "to eat" list since I moved in 5 cities area! First of all, the place was decorated well and especially loved all the Filipino trinkets here and there. The vibe was awesome with live music playing in the background - it really got me nostalgic as I haven't been back in the Philippines since I was 9 years old. Service was amazing! They answered any questions we had regarding the food and were so nice and kind. For food, we got the ube matcha (6/10), tosino saturdays (6.5/10), and longanisa slider (8/10). My favorite was the longanisa slider, it was unique and just loved how flavorful it was! The ube matcha was good at first but after a couple sips, it really loses the flavor and didn't have a matcha taste as the ube overpowered it. The tosino saturdays was also good as it came with a lot of different entrees; however, I'm more used to the traditional way which is tosino, red egg, and patis! Overall, my experience was great. Definitely would like to go back and try their açai bowl!

Saw that there was a Filipino place in Grover and had to stop by. Lots of things on the menu and of course they all sounded amazing. I ordered the pork adobo plate and an Ube pound cake. Both really good. The pork was cooked to perfection. The lumpia was delicious. I wasn't a fan of the pancit - it just wasn't that flavor that I was used to. I understand everyone has their own recipe. I'm just used to all of my friends mom's pancit flavors. Of course the pork adobo can't beat my best friends mom's adobo but it was still delicious. It's nice to have a place to go to when you're missing and craving your "auntie's" cooking. The only thing was they didn't have prices for anything. Everything I ordered ended up being almost $70. If I had known I wouldn't have ordered the things that I did. I'll still come back though.

Stopped by on the way to SoCal and I'm so glad I did! I ordered an Iced Ube Matcha and it was absolutely refreshing with a nice delicate Ube sweetness combined with the earthy notes of Matcha. The drink was well balanced and just the right amount of ice and sweetness. Definitely a drink that I would come back for. The cafe is very homey with an island feel. Lots of memorabilia and cute merch like mini tote bags, stickers, and handmade earrings. Service was great and the owner checked on us to make sure everything was good. There's indoor and outdoor seating and an oversized blue couch for added relaxation.

I have been trying to come try out the chicken adobo and other Filipino dishes. I finally made it in today Chris the owner was very helpful since I did not know what to order or what. He suggested I try adobo combination plate. It was very good plenty for lunch and leftovers for work. We picked up a slice of lemon blueberry cake. They had other bread and sweet cakes available like cinnamon banana and I believe carrot cake and ube bread. A friend of mine made chicken adobo many years ago and I remember it being so delicious finally, there is a local place we can Some good adobo. It's such a cute little place. Well decorated inside very welcoming friendly people with smile they also serve tea and Matcha drinks. I hope to come back again.

Lumpia Bros Cafe is a Filipino restaurant offering some traditional Filipino dishes along with smoothie bowls and cafe drinks. It was amazing! Service was impeccable. They truly treat everyone like family. During our meal, the owners/staff constantly talked to their patrons and had real conversations with them (including us). It was really lovely to see. It really created a homey vibe. Food tasted like home with a modern twist. The longanisa silog (usually called longsilog) featured their house made Longanisa. Truly a classic! Sweet longanisa with tangy vinegar, a runny egg, and rice. It was partnered with a lumpia on the side! The Longanisa slider was an absolute hit!! Featuring the same Longanisa but with a runny egg, fried hash brown, inside a warm ube pandesal bun. It was soo good. Drinks were also amazing! In all the drinks, the matcha or espresso was well-balanced with the ube or calamansi, creating a perfect blend on flavors. The inside was chill and casual. Perfectly matching the vibes of the owners/staff! If you're ever in the area, go support Lumpia Bros Cafe!

Cool authentic homemade local Filipino eatery with casual relaxed Hawaii island ambiance....complete with smiles. We not only lived in Hawaii for many years, but have Filipinos as friends and family for decades, so we do know both Hawaiian food, as well as, Filipino food. While I have eaten Lumpia for well over 1/2 Century, I did not have them every other day until I moved from NYC to Hawaii. I tend to adore almost any sort of crunchy treat that is endemic to many Asian cuisines. Some may know these are Spring Rolls in Vietnamese or Chinese foods, but the Filipino versions can be different. While they are all called Lumpia, the fillings can vary, and at this place, there are at least two variants. One is filled with beef and are thicker, and the others are perhaps more Chinese, and are filled with pork and are skinny. The Skinny pork ones are my favs and are termed Lumpia Shanghai...and these are the ones to get IMHO. Of course, no menu is complete with Pancit, Adobo, and Lumpia all coexisting on the same Plate Lunch plate...as we enjoyed in Hawaii. One can save on the pricey flight and hotel, grab a Plate Lunch here and head over to Grover or Pismo Beach to pretend one was somehow Teleported to the islands...such as Kauai. To complete the Filipino experience, then one can also get the owners version of Halo Halo. It had all sorts of treats in it, such as Red Bean, Ice cream, corn flakes, Tapioca beads, a wafer straw, and even a topping of Flan. It is a refreshing and cool drink/ desert that most Americans have never tried before. The owner is a hoot and flies back and forth to Hawaii routinely and tends to bring back new ideas for the eclectic menu. The ambiance is relaxing and customers are treated like kings. This is like a faster food place, but with a homestyle vibe. It really reminds me of some of the local places in rural Hawaii, that may have a personal touch. They do have some weekend special options as well. If someone is new to the Filipino food scene, this is a good introduction to it, since what is serve here are some of the homemade staples that are made by Filipinos in Hawaii and even in the SLO area. Of course, one can also go to Debu Filipino grocery in Pismo to grab the ingredients as well, but you still would need to go here to find out how it should taste. This little place does a fine job of creating Filipino dishes. It is also a local place that should be supported by the community. P.S.- Do not forget to ask for the sauces to compliment your dish...such as Hot sauce, imported Asian Vinegar, Fish Sauce, etc.... In many cases, the condiments can make or break a dish.

Such a cool little shop, that gives very homey and mom n pop vibes. I don't get a whole lot of Filipino food often, so on our trip to Pismo, we figured why not stop by and try something new. I split the Saturday combo and the glider with my partner. We also got a Viet latte and a pandan latte. At this shop, you order at the front, and they bring it out to you. What I love was how sweet the team is here. It was our first time, and they were so helpful answering our questions and giving recommendations. Y'all the glider was a purple burger bun, paired with spam, hash browns, and an over easy egg. It was piping hot when it came out, and absolutely delicious! The only thing that could've made it better is if they had some sort of homemade hot sauce to go with it. The Saturday breakfast was also very good! It was paired with grilled pork, rice, sausage, and pancit. Def very filling for two people! Also loved the lattes, and you can definitely taste what each latte is supposed to be. If you're ever in the Pismo Beach area, definitely give them a try!

    Combo platter
    Andy R.

We are familiar with Filipino food as one of our friends from Tarzana would cook Saturday meals. We ordered the combo platter to taste. It consisted of Lumpia (a type of spring roll) pork (was dry but the gravy saved it) white rice and glass noodles with vegetables. My wife ordered the mango lemonade which was surprisingly good. So why did I give four stars? I found two bones in the pork. When I mentioned it to the owner she said it was from cutting meat from the bone. I do not know of this was an aberration or not. These could have easily chipped a tooth or cracked a filling. I guess being a Casualty Underwriter for 37 years is commenting.

    Pandan latte
    Regina R.

As a Filipino myself, the pandan and ube flavors for lattes was quite enticing and led me to the cafe in the first place. I ended up trying out the pandan latte, which was such a delight! The sweet, nutty pandan flavor in combination with the rich, dark espresso made for the perfect ratio that I look for in iced lattes. I found to be just the right level of sweetness and milkiness. On another occassion, I tried their tocino plate, which is a cured pork with 2 lumpia rolls, rice, and pancit. I found that the tocino was softer than other ones that I've had in the past, but it overall had great, authentic flavor. The plate comes with a side of their "Mabuhay" sauce, which tastes like sweet chili sauce (it may very well just be that, but I never clarified). Ambiance wise, the cafe vibe can be described as tropical and bright. There is a stage with TVs and mics that allow for guests to partake in karaoke. The staff is so helpful and friendly and hyping my party up the entire time we did karaoke. We did not expect the karaoke, so it was a pleasant surprise that truly gave us an authentic Filipino experience. I would highly recommend anyone in the area checking this place out! There are truly so many food options, from coffee to açaí to Filipino plates & appetizers, so there is surely something for everyone.

Drive all the way from LA area to come here!!! Wow I am so excited that I finally got a chance to try it, the food was amazing...so yummy!!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while & I was sooo happy that I stopped. Met Eric & Josh who were just the coolest guys. Eric suggested getting the combo plate which had everything: Adobo chicken & pork, lumpia, pancit & rice..absolutely delish & everything I wanted to try. He also suggested his homemade lumpia.. Thanks guys!! I can't wait to come back, totally worth the drive & my new fav spot to stop at on my way to my second home.

I've had them at plenty of places, and these were honestly some of the best I've ever had. The beans, pico de gallo and chorizo sauce were so good together. I ordered mine with soft corn tortillas instead of crispy ones and scrambled eggs, which I definitely preferred. My husband and I also shared the tiramisu French toast, which was delicious and a HUGE portion, so come hungry! The kids' menu is very generous, maybe even a little too generous if your kids have smaller appetites. My 11-year-old got the $12 pancake meal with eggs and sausage but could really only finish the pancake. We took the eggs and sausage back to the hotel, but honestly they'll probably end up getting thrown out. For my 5-year-old, we just ordered a pancake by itself for about $4, and he only ate about a quarter of that. So if your kids don't eat a lot, I'd definitely recommend ordering the $4 pancake by itself instead of the full kids' breakfast. In hindsight, I would've done that for both of mine. Overall, the food was excellent and the portions were very generous. We'd absolutely come back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

The young man who took my order was really friendly and helped me decide what to order. I opted for the scrambled eggs that came with cheese on top the homemade house, potatoes, and an amazing biscuit. I also got the honey butter and the strawberry jam. My order came pretty quickly and off I went. Eggs - perfectly cooked and loved the addition of the cheese on top. Wasn't overpowering at all. Potatoes - I actually really loved these. They had a smoky flavor to them that was just delicious. Biscuit - this was one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It was light and buttery and just delicious. The "order line" was out the door and all tables (first come first serve) were occupied by customers, but not to worry...the tables "turn over" pretty quickly and again, I got lucky and seating wasn't a problem (but it could be). The associate who took our order was cheerful and all associates were seemingly very busy. The "value factor" is high here my dear Yelp Review Readers ...everyone had leftovers to "take with" and mine last 3 additional meals! Also (FYI) there is only 1 bathroom...so be prepared to "wait" if the need should arise. On this occasion...in this Yelper's opinion, Beachin Biscuits is in fact "worth the hype" and truly earned this "highly recommend" 4.5 Star "we'll be back soon" review.

There was no flakiness to any of the four pieces. The shrimp was good, but I assume it was frozen. The cocktail sauce and the tartar sauce were both delicious, but it just wasn't enough to mask the texture of the fish. I then tried the chicken tortilla soup since the waiter recommended it. Instead of chicken meat, it has chicken skin. Gross. I will say the clam chowder was very good, and I regretted not ordering it. I'm sorry to say we won't be back unless just for a cup of chowder and a beer.

The menu has a bunch of fun breakfasts that was a nice change of pace from the omelettes and pancakes that other places are making. I ordered the sunrise tacos and they were pretty good. The corn tortillas were solid, and I would say everything blended really well together flavor wise. And everything was cooked perfectly. The rest of the family felt maybe a little more neutral toward their breakfasts but I very much enjoyed my meal. Seating is limited inside so you might be left with just outdoor seating, but turnover rate it pretty decent. Overall, fair prices and quality food that J enjoyed. Probably my favorite breakfast place so far in pismo

The individual working the register has bakery items on a rack that is eye level to her. She is constantly flopping her hair back and forth. In addition I noticed that when a server came out to clean tables and dirty dishes, they would put them in the sink and then just to grab food items to serve. They didn't even wash their hands! After I noticed that I had been waiting for a long time, I asked the person at the register about my food. She looked over to the rack and my food was just sitting there for an ample amount of time. All she could say was (very awkwardly) sorry. I decided to keep my cool and hoped the food was going to be okay, but when I got home there was hair in my plate.

Excellent coffee! Delicious food and bakery! Above and beyond service! Our go to coffee shop now…read moreand my weekly fix. Atmosphere: From the outside, it looks like a tiny hole in the wall, but once you step foot onto the patio, you'd realize you've been transformed into this adorable, tranquility space. They have both open air patio and fully cover patio that's perfect even when the weather outside is a little chili. There are even toys and kids book for the little ones in their cover patio. 1 star Customer service: Jaimie, the owner, is one of the most personal and interesting person you'd ever meet. The very first week that I started coming here consistently, I was so surprised when I CALLED, not even ordering in person, to order my usual Dolomitti for the 3rd time in a row, she immediately recognized my voice on the phone and knew my usual preference of coffee ice cubes in my drinks. I soon became the "Dolomitti lady" lol. It still amazes me how she can remember that given all the customers she gets each day. 1 star Quality of coffee/drinks/food: One of the reasons I can't help but keep coming back to Perfetto is the wide range of food and pastry goods that they have to offer. I try not to drink coffee first thing in the morning, knowing it would turn into a very effective laxative. It's definitely a huge bonus that not only does Perfetto offer plenty of sandwiches/paninis/salad options, but they're one of the best I have had. My go to every time is the Tuscany panini. They use sourdough bread from Grover Beach Sourdough, which cannot get better than that. The bread is perfectly pressed and toasted with the perfect crunch and cheese pull. Besides, it's a given that I love the coffee here to keep coming back and ordering the same thing. 2 stars! I don't think I've ever gotten a hot drinks from here, so I can't personally tell if they do latte art or not. However, when the drinks and the food are too good, I could care less about the latte art and keep coming back here at least once or twice a week. 1 star If you're in the area or just passing by, I highly recommend checking out this place. Plus it's conveniently located just right off of 101. So no reason not to. I just wish they stay open later and all 7 days a week! This is the breakdown of my rating for coffee shops: Quality of coffee/drinks/food: up to 2 stars Consistently offer latte art: 1 Star Atmosphere: 1 Star Customer service: 1 Star
