Courtney (the good hair witch!) has colored my hair twice - first she applied a clarifying treatment and gloss and then she colored my hair a fiery, fall red; both times I walked away feeling like a million bucks! Her hair styling skills are SO on point, too! Kiley and Taylor have both styled my hair for events, and they're superb as well. She is a true artist through and through -- her creative and masterful use of color and her ability to create the edgy haircuts I like make me feel like a supermodel, which is no easy feat considering I'm 4'10". And a half. 4'10".5. I feel so well-attended to in the salon, both by Twylla and her staff. There are snacks, coffee, water, candy, 'zines, and I think wine, too! I get nervous because I feel surrounded by so much beauty and sometimes a salon can come off as unwelcoming. Lumos Nox's staff did everything they could to make me feel so welcome and loved. I felt so relaxed and felt like I was important when I visited. The entire staff was attentive to my needs. If my stylist was busy when I was processing, another stylist didn't hesitate to ask if I needed anything. I love the messages of positivity scattered all throughout the salon. I loved this experience getting my haircut with Twylla- she took a lot of time up front to make sure she knew what I wanted, and I felt comfortable that she understood my hair likes/dislikes. Honestly, I don't understand why this salon doesn't have more reviews! I went here today and saw Tori based on the recommendation of Twylla (found them on Instagram). Unfortunately, Naperville doesn't have many salons where people with textured hair can go, so based on their IG, I thought, why not? I have wavy/curly hair that, if cut incorrectly, becomes a hot mess. Tori was friendly and clean. She carefully listened to all of my hair concerns and inspirations and beyond delivered on what I could imagine. I walked out, feeling lighter and brighter with my new hair cut!
