I needed a overhaul on my color and blunt bob cut after being chopped up at Costcutters. I've driven by this place many times I decided to come in for a consultation. I spoke with Sophie, who is very attentive and listened to what I wanted. She was able to fit me in the following Saturday for early appointment. The place is very clean and modern, and well organized. It was the best shampoo I had had in a very long time, and Sophie worked with me on a long-term plan to get my hair back to the wayI like it. The whole staff is very gracious and seem to be on the cutting edge of color and cuts. I would highly recommend this to any buddy that is used to getting their cuts at an urban salon, the prices are reasonable, unlike city salons. Five stars read more

Tried to make an appointment for a simple hair cut and was told that the stylist I have been visiting for a number of years, now books her own appointments. The receptionist was going to call the stylist and let her know that I would like a hair cut. No call back from stylist. Called again, spoke with a different receptionist, and was also told that the stylist booked her own appointment and that she would give her the message that I would like to have my hair cut. Quite pricey. I just went to have a blow dry with style and not sure what happened with the stylish that she couldn't do it right and she flat iron my hair instead. So they charged me more. Maybe it is a marketing thing to charge more so I payed $55 bucks. I will never go there again. read more

Amazing experience! I was new to the area and needed to find a new hair salon. I was referred to this salon by my coworker. I received an "ashy blonde" balayage by Morgan, which turned out WAY better than any balayage Ive ever received. I highly recommend future possible clients to look at Azza's Instagram because they always post photos of clients' hair! I've had two balayage services done previously from two different places, and I was not satisfied with them at all. I went to Morgan, and not only did she fix my hair, but she chose a color that would go perfectly with my skin color/ face shape AND blended it perfectly! read more

First time at Azza and my stylist was Dominique. The receptionist was super friendly, offering me a beverage before I even sat down. It is very clean, cozy and modern with Uber class! Dominique is beautiful and very upbeat. She gave a very thorough consultation and discussed everything from product use to my styling ability. She asked great questions to get a really good idea of me and what we were going to do. I was completely open to anything minus a bald head. She gave me a beautiful shampoo, cut and style. My wife just had her hair done and had a very good experience at Azza. She doesn't typically come home 100% satisfied with one thing or another about her cuts from other salons, but at Azza, she was very pleased and I thought she looked amazing. I had the worst massage of my life. The masseuse is a very nice woman but she kept talking. My back was way more sore for days following. She upset my muscles more. The salon was clean and the ladies were nice. I could also still hear the country music blasting in the salon the whole time. I hate country music. Also, online it said the massage would be $50 and they charged me $70! I do not recommend for massage here. read more

I had a haircut and highlight about a year ago at Azza. I decided to give them a try because somewhat new to the area and wanted to find a colorist closer to home (was seen happily and previously by Tricoci's in Geneva but 40 minute drive was steep). Saw that Azza had a coupon in the Clipper magazine so found it the perfect opportunity to try them out. I went in wanting a teeny, tiny trim and and hi/low light touch up. The stylist was nice however the fact that she had only been a stylist for about a year or two definitely showed. However I still felt confident that my hair would turn out. When finished with my hair the lighting looked as if a couple of my highlights were slightly orange. I figured it to be the lighting so I decided to go home and look myself. When I got home to check out my hair I noticed that not only were my highlights incredibly brassy but some of them were really thick and not blended. I immediately called the salon who decided to have me come back the following morning to have it fixed (I haven't needed my hair fixed since I was a teenager experimenting with my own hair). When I sat down in the chair the stylist mentioned that she thought my hair was pulling brassy tones after she dried it (then why did you ever let me leave the salon??) She re highlighted sections of my hair and toned it down so I was able to live with it. Needless to say I went back to my salon in Geneva where my colorist immediately noticed all the mistakes including the several overly chunky highlights. She fixed me back up good as new and I have NEVER strayed again. ***I left out the name of the stylist because I don't want my opinion to damage her reputation as others have probably had a great experience with her. read more

I was hired as a makeup artist for a wedding and Azza generously opened its doors for me to get the job done. The entire staff was so warm and welcoming. I get very nervous walking into someone else's "territory" due do past experience. The minute we walked in we were greeted warmly with open arms. Cami was one of the stylists doing hair for the wedding. She was in eye and ear shot of me the whole morning. She worked quickly and efficiently. Her attention to detail is so impeccable. I was in complete awe and amazement watching her work. Every single style she did was modern, fresh, and customized to what flattered the bridesmaid. I do plenty of weddings and she is hands down the best I have ever seen. She was calm and cool, making sure everyone looked perfect even making adjustments while I was working on a face. She works as if she'd been styling for decades. You needn't look any further when considering anyone for any of your hair needs. She is simply amazing. THE BEST!
