Some of the extensions were basically glued to my eyelid, causing a buildup of dirt that I couldn't clean properly. When I went in for a fill, they told me they did me a favor by taking all of the old lashes off and not charging me for it. My hair was pretty long and the hair color I had was a bronde, once I left the salon my hair was orange spotty and bright "blonde". My bangs were BOTCHED, they were up to the middle of my forehead and my layers were so uneven. I was there for 7 hours, that the front desk even offered to buy me a snack. The young lady that did my hair seemed very unexperienced and had to call others to help out and advise her on how to do my hair. I paid $350+ and still tipped because it was 7 hours of the girl working. After I went home and cried I called the next day and the owner called me to come back in and let her expert fix it for free, Carmen. Carmen then toned my hair down and basically reversed everything the other girl did where I spent my whole day in the salon. She then took a look at my hair cut and nodded her head in disbelief. She cut my bangs to "even" them out and they were 10x worse and so short. I instantly cried in the car and did not know what to do. I messaged her asking for any advice on the bangs! I couldn't style them or push them back NOTHING. She told me to wait and there's nothing I can do. I felt like I trusted her since she brought my hair from ORANGE to the origami color I had. I come back 3 months later because I am loyal and I know mistakes happen, I too work in the beauty field. I go in for my tone and cut with Carmen and was not told a price or anything. The tone looked the same exact thing NOTHING changed it still looked the same exact color and the cut took exactly 2 mins as she was chatting with other people. I am very anxious about my hair because I only had bad experiences here. When I told her she said it's the lighting, I believed her. She asked if I wanted a blow out and I said no thank you because I was going on a run after. She said okay and when it was time to pay in the front she tells me my total is $200! I was in complete shock! I've paid $115 in LA for a Top Salon for a Glaze and Cut, it didn't make sense to me. I asked Carmen for a break down of the price and she was weird about it, I then asked for a receipt and she said she wasn't a receptionist so she didn't know how to print it out. I stayed until she figured it out and saw a 2 min haircut by her was $90! And she charged me for a cut and blow out which is $105 I am assuming? She also mentioned they always charge for blowouts even if you don't want one, this was shocking for me. I payed the $200 and was left in disbelief because out of every time I have came in it's been nothing but a bad experience and this was my last straw to giving them a chance. It was always very fake/happy energy and she gave me her Zelle info for TIP as I was leaving. It took her 15-20 mins to complete the whole $200 service. The salon is always empty and the prices compared to the quality of job they do is not correlating. I understand everything and everyone has a price based on their own skills and expertise but I do NOT recommend this salon. This wasn't my first time getting let down and I never wrote a view. The only reason I am writing this is because I came to a 5 star hair salon in Montclair NJ and I told them my previous experience and they said my hair looks like it hasn't been cut in months! Although I just got my hair cut a month prior, so devastating. They also said the layers were super uneven and the color is washed out to the max. I was completely let down and hurt by all this. The first two pictures were my hair BEFORE ENTERING THE SALON. The last pictures were the after, horrible. My girl was very accommodating and made my session very comfortable. My lashes looked awesome and I was very satisfied! I'm actually writing this review after over a week of having my lashes. I have had eyelash extensions before and in the past my extensions would not last up to a week after application. My photo is from OVER A WEEK of having them on and they still look as fresh as the same day I got them. I am getting a refill soon for an upcoming wedding but I am so HAPPY with finding this place! After the wash I was led to a self-drying station fully equipped with products and drying & styling tools. So far so good...NO!! As I combed my hair CHUNKS were falling out. Fast forward, I explained all this to Gabby, she really heard me and I appreciate that She's truly a skilled professional and she worked her magic and fixed my hair.
