My review is solely on the sauna experience. Online it says 60 minutes, but you really get 50. They leave a timer in your room to track time. It can feel rushed if you try to fit in a shower, changing, and drying your hair in the last few minutes. So in reality you get about 40 minutes of real in-sauna time. Other than the timing, I do like the facilities. They are clean and it's calm. I prefer the bigger sauna room, which you automatically get when you book on the hour. In the sauna, you can connect your audio to bluetooth. They also provide robes, drinking water, towels, hair ties, shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner. read more

I got the Energy Boost (B12 shot) and Solo Chill (Cryotherapy). Nicollette (staff nurse) gave the quickest shot that I've ever had in my life! Rachel (cryotherapy specialist) educated me about the experience and she was right, cryotherapy is freezing but it feels better than getting an ice bath. Rachel is very sweet and friendly. Starting with the postives, Lume is well appointed and interiors are modern, clean, and inviting. Bookings are very easy as well as you can do it through the website or through their app. I booked the infrared sauna. I was very surprised when I was told that I would have the sauna room for 45 minutes - but that INCLUDES the time for you to shower, blow dry your hair, get dressed, and do your make up. I mean... I have long hair and it takes me 10 minutes just to dry my hair even with a super powerful hairdryer. So that meant I only had 20 - 25 minutes of sauna time, at the maximum, for a $50 price tag. There was a timer given that was supposed to help me track time, but that actually just completely stressed me out as I found myself constantly staring at the timer, afraid that I would run out of time in the sauna as I was mentally planning how fast I could possibly shower and get ready before time runs out. I know that other places have a centralized shower room so you can get the full allocated time for the sauna... I may opt for one of their competitors next time. This is a shame as I really want to revisit, but the more I thought about it, the more stressed / upset I became. read more

The lady who did a covid test on me (via nasal swab) was not trained appropriately in the administration of the test. I barely felt the swab. So when she came back and said my test was negative, I thought "of course it was". You basically swabbed the air. They need trained personnel (eg nurses), or they should stop offering covid tests. I've had a real covid test before at a hospital, and everyone knows the swab goes in gently but as deep as possible to obtain infected cells from the walls. Not just swabbing your nostril hairs. read more

Especially Maddie who really explained the process on how to intake their products and being carful not to overwhelm one's self with too many drip treatments at once. First off, I was very impressed by the General Manager (I believe her name is Meredith) who happened to be at the front desk when I arrived. She walked me through all of the services, the benefits of each service, and the pricing. I decided to get the Immunity Idol IV since it's flu season I figured anything to help me not get sick is a plus. The nurse who gave me the IV was very nice and talked to me the whole time about the benefits and how the whole process will work. For the next 25-30min I got to sit in their very comfortable chairs with a glass of warm tea. After my service was over I didn't feel like I was being rushed out of the space, so I sat in the lounge and finished my tea, when I was ready to leave the staff was nice and got my coat and shoes and I was on my way. 10/10 will be going back, glad a place like this has finally opened up in River North. read more

Upon entering we're greeted by welcoming nurses, took our jackets and shoes, gave us slippers to feel more comfortable & relaxed. The ambience was very relaxing. The Nurse Practitioner Mayra took our vital signs and started our IV line with just one poke, then took us to our individual comfortable lounge pod where the Big Energy drip infused for about 40 minutes. The nurse brought some warm tea. I also decided to get the Vitamin D Booster Shot since it's the middle of winter and lacking some sunlight. To my surprise, the nurse was so amazing I didn't even feel the injection! The hour was exactly the relaxing & rejuvenating experience our bodies needed.
