We love a flexible drink order! We got appropriately (and easily) tempted into dessert and a rose liquor, mostly because I just loved the ambiance so much and kept wanting to hangout with Kameron! We were totally full but decided, why not.. We ordered the pound cake with fresh berries, and Kameron helped us workshop what we wanted the rose liquor to be served with, and she nailed it in hot toddy form. It was all around the most amazing post dinner treat I could've asked for. Every single aspect of this dining experience made my freaking week. Cannot wait to come back!!!!

Recently came here a few days before the 4th of July Weekend on the early morning of a road trip. I ordered their classic breakfast just to see how well they handle a traditional american breakfast. They had a lot of options on how you want breakfast made on the menu. The plate was huge! The mugs in their stone green color were big as well. It probably holds the amount of 2 cups coffee from star bucks. I was rather surprised when I saw how low the reviews were for this great little restaurant on yelp. By the time I wrote this review, it is at 2 stars. There is no way this restaurant should have a lowly score. The restaurant was very clean. Had large screen flat screens tv mounted on the wall showing axe/chainsaw competitions. The waitresses were friendly and were fast to refill your mug. Staff was incredibly friendly. Always asked if we needed something. As for the flavor and taste of the food. I personally loved the sausages. The sausages were juicy, flavorful, and big. The hash browns were crispy and soft in the center. The eggs on the other hand, were a little watery tasting although, the portion was big. Overall I enjoyed the breakfast a lot, even with the flavor of the eggs. Pricing was decent as well. A breakfast of this size in my hometown would cost twice as much. So I found the value good over all. I highly recommend this place, at least for breakfast. I cant say about the other times of the day. But after leaving the restaurant, a lot of local law enforcement cars were all parked outside and eatting in the place. So if the locals are there, then it says something on how good it is there. read more

When Lumberjack opened my husband and I had high hopes that Willits would have another dining choice available. We decided to try it the day before Mother's Day last year and went out to dinner - what a fiasco! We were virtually ignored by the waitresses who we assumed had been hired for their looks and not waitressing abilities. When one finally did show up she gave us the choice of soup or salad, I chose salad, my husband chose soup. I got my salad because it was a self serve salad bar. After about 15 minutes w were able to flag someone down and ask where the soup was, my husband finally got his miniscule cup of cold soup. The waitress asked if we wanted our baked potato with "the works". I asked what that was and she said, "butter, sour cream and bacon". She neglected to mention that it was an additional $1.50 to add "the works". So, if we wouldn't have said yes would our meal have come with a dry potato? They appeared to have forgotten that we ordered a meal because no one showed up, the dining area was completely void of staff. Finally we saw a teen-ager filling water glasses and asked her to find our waitress. When our meals were delivered they were stone cold, the gravy was congealed. After we got home we looked closer at our bill and found we had been overcharged and my husband went back to complain. The manager actually showed up at our house the next day and appologized. He offered us a gift card for a free meal which we decided to use a few days later. THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN! Extreme lack of service and cold food are NOT my idea of a fine dining experience! read more

Unfortunately when i went here for breakfast it was terrible, no 1/2 n 1/2 for coffee and my waitress looked @ me like she had never heard of it for coffee just the artificial creamer. It's pretty expensive for what they serve. i had two small children either me @ the time. I used to work here when it was Perkos years ago even though it was chain diner food it was 100% better. It appeared to be clean and the staff were nice on the most part. I don't want to say dont come here because i was only there once and so I can't say anything about the lunch or dinner but @ this point I don't recommend the pancakes, the eggs or coffee, of course the syrup the artificial maple but that's pretty common wasn't good but maybe it's just me. read more

Came into Lumberjack's with a group of 14 on Sunday for breakfast before our trip back to Sacramento, Service was great, Food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Upon arriving back home i realized that i had left my wallet with everything that i hold near and dear to me inside of it. Called in to lumberjacks as soon as possible and spoke to the manager Charlene, she was very friendly and found time to mail my wallet back to me as soon as she could even with the fires going on. I really like to give full stars when they're deserved, but this experience just didn't quite add up. Great service and a clean space, but the food inconsistency and no hot water made it hard to rate higher. Hopefully these are things that can be improved because the staff--especially May--was excellent.

We've only been here for breakfast, so I can't just the non-breakfast item. The restaurant is attached to a bar, that also has tables to eat in. I think this place a popular hang out for a drinking breakfast. Decor is 70's - 80's ish and not fancy. It is reasonably clean. It has one of the last salad bars on earth. Coffee was not fancy and felt like it came out of my mom's old percolator. The breakfast menu seems expensive. A few things to note - good luck on any kind of a healthy breakfast. You can't get egg white omelettes. They "don't do that". They also did not have juice? (Even though they are attached to a full bar?) The only substitutions for hash browns are pancakes or a biscuit and gravy. They don't do poached eggs, not even on the benedicts. Over a couple of visits, the other things noticed - bacon requested crispy comes out not nearly cooked enough and flaccid. The sausage felt a little raw in the middle. The hash browns looked homecut and home made, but were burnt on the edges, without being nice and crispy, and the potatoes were undercooked. which was disappointing. Eggs, though, were cooked perfectly, which were really good. The pancakes were the absolute star of the show, though. They were huge and very fluffy and the best pancakes I've seen anywhere, except maybe Du Pars in Los Angeles. What killed it is they give you the square plastic Sysco containers of syrup which are not very good. They give you beautiful fluffy butter, but no real maple syrup? Good syrup or at least syrup you could pour yourself would have upped their pancake game up considerably. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy tasted of flour, but was seasoned well. The biscuit was very tender. I couldn't eat but a bite. Looking at other tables, the omelettes did look good, I just hate cooked egg yolks. All were bland, the…read moreenchilada sauce tast like tomato soup with alittle seasoning, tomatillo I could not taste the tomatillos in it, so bland! The water tast like fish (I believe the water container they serve out of has not been washed in a very long time) the Ice was fine! The chili relleons were good without the sause, refried beans were good too.
