I didn't get the lunch special photo

Service is good. Ambiance/atmosphere is alright, nothing special, but I haven't eaten in I've only done carry out. Lo Mein is awesome with the sweet and sour chicken which comes with the classic tub of sweet and sour sauce.

I'd been past here a few times and been meaning to try it. It's downtown and easy to get to by bus. The atmosphere is casual, a little "hole in the wall" type place. The service I got was friendly and welcoming. I had wonton soup and shrimp egg foo young and had plenty of leftover egg foo young for later. Both were very tasty and a generous portion for the money. They have a good selection of lunch specials I will have to come back for!

$10.50 lunch specials to include rice, soup and an egg roll. Hard to come by good food for a great price. Service was fast and attentive. The beef was thick and had a great flavor! Not too spicy. Can't wait to come back!

Talk about your basic no frills eatery this is it. Polished cement floors. Simple table and chairs and no gaudy Asian trinkets adorning every nook and cranny. Menu prices reflect the simplicity of the restaurant. We ordered from the lunch menu - Mongolian Beef with steamed rice and Szechuan Beef with fried rice. Both came with Egg Drop Soup. The meat for both dishes was thicker sliced, well seasoned and tender. The heat level was just right, hot enough to enjoy without killing off the taste buds. The fried rice was on the dry side. However, overall our lunch was delicious and inexpensive and worth a return trip to this little gem. Metered street parking was available and there was plenty to be found.

    Kung Pao

Friendly staff, great lunch specials, delicious food! Cute little place right downtown. Will definitely go back to sample more from their extensive menu. I had the Kung Pao Triple Delight (beef, chicken and pork)-lots of peanuts and meat, just spicy enough. He had the Curry Chicken. Both lunch entrees (only $10.95) came with soup, rice and egg roll. We each took home half our meals.

Broth in won tan soup tastes like old dishwater and dumplings were gross to say the least. Rice was hard. Meal was gross and very unenjoyable.

    Lunch specials.

I tried the Orange Chicken lunch special, with the accompanying fried rice (you can choose steamed rice instead), soup (hot and sour or egg flower soup), and a small spring roll. The total was $10.95, which was a good price for the amount of food. The chicken was slightly tough and not very flavorful. The spring roll didn't have a memorable taste. The egg flower soup had an interesting flavor I couldn't place that I didn't particularly enjoy. The fountain drink dispenser wasn't working, but they did have cold soda in cans. I wouldn't recommend Lulu, nor would I go back. While the prices for the lunch specials are inexpensive, the food isn't very enjoyable or appetizing.

Walked by and saw that Lu Lu's had been closed for health violations. Nice big red sticker on the door. Not a good sign.

Even though its a small parking lot in a strip plaza. Fresh hand pulled noodles are good, which were a little soft for my personal preference, but still good. It may sound strange but things with pork will taste porky. My girlfriend doesn't like pork, but can eat it, but she ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings and it was too porky for her. For me, it tasted just right because this is the flavors I grew up with. The dumpling dough had a nice texture that I prefer. My Ramen had a big fatty pieces of pork which is what I like. They didnt skimp. It was a good bowl of noodle soup. Wouldn't say its the best ramen I ever had, but it was good. Beef roll was good, I would say its one of the better ones I've seen in ABQ where its really filled with beef. Would recommend this. We also got soup dumplings and I will say that we didnt get the proper spoons for them. At first I thought they just didnt offer them, but looking at photos, we never got them. It makes a difference for your eating experience and enjoyment. We will definitely be back as this is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area and you really get some real Chinese variety and not your basic generic stereotypical menu.

While the atmosphere is understated and unpretentious, the quality of the cuisine is truly on par with the finest Asian kitchens. I opted for the Beef Ramen ($13.95), and it was a total triumph! It arrived remarkably fast, piping hot and with just the perfect hint of spice to make the flavors pop. It was exactly what I needed to satisfy a craving. There is a good variety & selection on the menu. We ordered our usual go tos: pork shumai, shrimp har gow, pan fried chives, chinese broccoli, beef rice noodle, baked egg tart, mushroom shumai, steamed chicken feet, curry rice noodle roll, sweet tofu. The food was great and made us feel like we had made it back to Houston Asia town again. Our 2 honorable mentions were the baked egg tart which was crispy and the sweet tofu which was a perfect balance of sweet and flavor. This is the only place we've found so far that has these 2 items on the menu. There were many other items that we wanted to try but could not this visit because we were stuffed - next time. My only negative was that the shrimp har gow was a little bit on the gummy side. I would give a 4.5 star rating because of this, but since that's not an option I'm happy to give them a 5 star review because it was barely an issue. Everything else was good! We're so happy to have a place that carries some hard to find asian food items that we miss. The service was friendly and attentive and there was a good vibe. The restaurant looks well-maintained and clean. Highly recommend this place.

We would get Dim Sum in Flushing, NY and I have nothing but great memories from it. So! When I found out this spot brings out the carts for Dim Sum - I ran over! We went for Saturday brunch and it was empty. I ordered for the table. The chicken feet really stood out to me and were delicious. I will say...they advertise it is homemade...but I'm not too sure. The soup dumplings definitely had a precooked frozen packaged texture / flavor - similar the ones you can get from the grocery store. BUT! Overall: we had a fantastic experience. The family was very friendly. I think they were surprised how much I ordered. I was excited and happy. And yes, we finished it all lol If you've never had Dim Sum then you MUST come here for the experience alone. They bring out the carts and you pick what you'd like. This is a great way to spend BRUNCH with a large group. Forget the American brunch and try the Chinese one! It's a new experience and will be fun.

The food tasted ok..but I appreciated the kindness of the staff and their service mindedness. I really wished they had more selection of food though. For example, I was hoping their would have fried taro paste in birds nest (ok..I know..this one is really chinese), or even custard buns (this one..I was surprised they didn't have), or..even chicken feet (ok..I don't eat these anyways but hey..it's a testament to what dimsum place would look like). But otherwise, if you arelooking to take someone to try dimsum and aren't so put off by the ambience (the place is quite unassuming..but was fine to me), this id probably a more authentic dimsum place in ABQ to me (granted the sign on the street was a Lil too much of an acclamation of NM's state of dimsum)!
