Amanda took the time to really understand what I was looking for and gave thoughtful recommendations that actually fit my style and needs (not just trying to sell me anything). Destiny was just as amazing--super attentive, upbeat, and made the whole experience feel fun and effortless. What stood out most was how natural and authentic they both were. You can tell they truly care about the customer experience, and it made a huge difference. It didn't feel like shopping--it felt like getting styled by friends who actually know their stuff. Accused, humiliated, and kicked out -- as a loyal customer I have been a loyal Lululemon customer for years, always choosing this brand over Alo and others. Yesterday's experience at the 5th Avenue location has completely shaken my trust. I came in to exchange an item I had purchased just ONE day earlier -- on Sunday. A sales rep had already begun processing my exchange when a manager named Tiffany stepped in and shut the whole thing down. She accused me of wearing the item and claimed my makeup was all over it. That is simply not true. The item was unworn. The only explanation is that my AirPod bag was stored in the same bag, and the item fell. something completely out of my control. I have photos to prove it. What made this so much worse was how I was treated. Tiffany was extremely rude, condescending, and humiliating. She essentially forced me out of the store. I have a strong accent, and based on her tone and attitude toward me, I felt I was being judged and treated differently because of it. It felt discriminatory, and I am taking it seriously. I have filed a formal complaint with Lululemon's corporate team and am requesting a full investigation. No customer, loyal or otherwise, should ever be treated this way. Deeply disappointed. If a manager treats their customers like this, they can't imagine how she treats her team. read more

Lululemon is a high end athletic clothing store. I am always fascinated by how the other half lives. I am known to browse through while clutching my chest when I see the price of an item. This is the type of store where if you have to ask the price you shouldn't be shopping here. My daughter and I had a discussion about pricing and merchandise quality. She is my expert on the subject. She recently was given a gift and I had a first hand look and experience with her new Lululemon Tote bag. I really don't see the hype. I've received complementary tote bags that are equal quality. I will give this location credit for customer service and store presentation. I prefer 3 1/2 stars. In conclusion, for those of you financially inclined this is a beautiful clean location with helpful employees. AND by the way, the tote bag in my photos goes for $68! It's a pleasure shopping at this Lululemon. The moment that you enter the store, there is a staff member to direct you. The store is very clean and they have items nicely spaced apart. The fitting rooms are very unique. Before entering, a staff member will ask you for your name and how many items you have. Before letting you into your fitting room, the staff member will write your name, and the number of items on a white board, outside of your door. The checkout process is quick and the Lululemon bags are awesome. Enjoy your time shopping here and enjoy their fine products. read more

My girlfriend swears by this place. Me, well I am fine with it. This store generally has plenty of workout/gym apparel. My girlfriend says it is great and although they had a men's section, I chose to bypass and just go along for the support. Not sure why the negative reviews. This shop is HUGE - multiple floors, means a big retail offering and HUGE Sales selection too. Yay! The big plus is they offer custom NY LL pressing (a Manhattan LL landscape) onto any LL clothes and free hemming which is so important for a shorty like me. They are also very sanitary limiting occupancy and offering hand sanitizer / requiring masks over your nose and mouth in the store. Highly recommend! read more

I went in here today for the second time, and had a great experience! The store is very clean and well organized. There were lots of employees walking around the store. They were ready to help but not pushy! I prefer to shop on my own and not have workers constantly trying to give me advice. I really appreciated that they let me be on my own! There is a great selection of lululemon clothing for both men and women. In the back, they have a sale rack, which was a nice bonus! The dressing rooms were clean and brightly lit! You can only bring in 6 items at a time, but I really liked that they let you hang your other items outside your door and swap them out on your own! I ended up getting 2 new bras, 2 new shirts, and a skort. There was a pretty long line to checkout and only two cashiers. The line would have moved so much quicker if someone would have asked some of the many workers just wandering the floor to come over and check people out. Finally, a manager did just that! I just wish that it would have happened sooner. The wait to check out is the only reason this was not a 5 star experience! I will definitely be back here for my future workout gear needs! read more

Lost an item in the fitting room. I called and I called the phone for half an hour while I was on the way to the store in a cab. When I got there, two people were by the register by themselves with no customer on the floor just listening to the phone ring. No one said hi to me from the time I got inside the store to the time I went downstairs to the fitting room. Great customer service. I'm pretty sure I could've walked in, stole multiple items, walked out, and the two people downstairs would have not noticed a thing. read more

Compliments to the Lululemon team at the 5th Ave location. I am thoroughly impressed by their customer service. It is something that's worth a big shout-out. I shop online a lot. I own a ton of Lululemon products but going to the store is really not my thing. I have been to this location before but mostly for pick up or exchange only; usually in and out within a minute. This time I was there on a fairly busy Sunday afternoon to get my yoga pants hemmed for the first time (btw it is complimentary). I did not know what to expect. As soon as I walked in someone greeted me at the front door and directed me to the top floor where the alternation service is located. As I almost reached the top floor, still walking up, someone welcomed me warmly on top of the stairs. His name was Justin. He asked what my name was and took me to the fitting room/ alteration area right away. Two other associates helped me right away here. One directed me to the fitting room to put on the pants while another one alerted the associate for the hemming service. The fitting room area was clean and spacious. When I was ready a team of associates took me to a stool in front of the mirror. (I am so sorry that I couldn't catch everyone's name because I was so overwhelmed but you were all very helpful.) Gabriella did the measurements. It was like trying on my wedding dress and at the fitting sessions. That's the kind of VIP service I got from a team of happy and excited associates. The process was quick and as soon as I changed back into my clothing, the associates were ready to give me back the receipts. This is a guarantee next day pick up after 5:30 pm. NICE!! As I walked out of the fitting room area, my husband said people here are so nice and helpful. He was hanging out waiting for me, also holding an item I was interested in buying He said at least 2 associates asked if he's doing okay if needs assistance for anything. We left the store as two very impressed and happy customers. When I returned to the store the next day to pick up my pants. I got the same warm and welcoming service at the front door. And the associate who helped me out the day before remembered me as well. I told the manager, Jennifer, that she has a great team here! Keep it up guys and thank you! read more

This place has multiple floors, I been here 5 times and still don't know what on the top. It even has a huge sales selection too, and this is Fifth Ave, ya-pee! I was in NYC for marathon weekend and when my cab was taking me back to my hotel one night, I saw a lululemon with an NYC skyline tank in the front window. It reminded me a lot of the tank I got screen printed in San Francisco when I did their marathon, so I was hoping NYC had something similar. I wandered into this lulu the next day and saw that they offered screen printing on various items. There were a few options. One said "Run NYC" and the one I wanted was just the skyline (a little disappointed that none of them said "NYC Marathon" on them). I was actually really disappointed in the severe lack of Cool Racerbacks they had in this store. I could only find black and white and only sizes 8+. My local lulu has an entire wall of Cool Racerbacks of countless colors. I walked the entire store so many times and there were none anywhere except the front rack. Luckily for me, I noticed that the screen printed tank I wanted on the mannequin was my size. I found an associate to ask him if I could have the one off the mannequin. He seemed really disengaged...almost acting like he didn't work there. He was very quiet, wouldn't make eye contact, didn't seem to like his job. He told me "I don't think so," but that he would check. Well he checks, another guy comes around. Says he's not sure. Gets a girl. She goes and finds another girl who then says that I can have it (this was all over the course of ten mins). As you can imagine, I was pleased that they let me have it but WOW!! Something is SEVERELY wrong in their management system when FOUR PEOPLE need consulted to identify if I can have a damn tank top off of a mannequin. Had they said no, this totally would have been a one star review. All told, I would not recommend this lululemon. There are many others in the city and I'm sure at least a few of them have better customer service. I get that it's Holiday and many people are new and may not have answers to questions, but you have to train your staff and if it makes a customer happy, the answer should be yes! This lulu needs to do a better job of educating and empowering their staff. read more

I normally love these stores, but the manager was super disrespectful and just plain rude. So, I had found a bag on display I had wanted, which was the last one. I found an employee and asked if there were others and if I was able to buy it. She was super sweet and asked another experienced employee who said yes. After she had told me we were able to buy it, the manager came over and started ridiculing her for doing so as apparently a new rule changed that. He was being very loud and making fun of the employee when it could have been a simple conversation. He then yelled at her to get it from us and again she was the sweetest person I felt very bad for her. The manager then radioed all employees while she was standing next to him, "All employees should take into consideration the new rules with the displays, as some of us have not been following them." In a snarky tone staring at her. I get having a bad day and being a bit upset but this was unacceptable, I don't know how lululemon would allow this. This location went above and beyond my expectations. It is two floors but since it is on 5th Avenue, I was hoping to see part of their collection that I wouldn't see online. They have an overwhelming variety of their different apparel. It was like seeing their online store but in person. The music was loud enough to get the good vibes going.
