Quality clothes, especially the leggings. Very well-made and leggings feel like butter. The store itself is small but nice. Lots of dressing room rooms and staff are extremely helpful and helping you pick items to try on. Staff are also helpful with suggestions or getting you different sizes. The line for checkout can be hit or miss sometimes it is very long and you might be there waiting there for 20 minutes other times it's really quick and you might be in and out in under two minutes Parking is free since it is at the Alderwood Mall, but parking can be quite hard to find sometimes where you have to drive around for quite a while until you can find an empty spot. Lululemon is on the outside of the mall (but can't be seen from the road/parking lot). It is not too far from the Apple Store and P.F. Chang's if you know where that is. Only reason I am not giving it five stars is because of the price... Because well, the store is very pricey. But I love everything else about it!!! read more

One of the workers was staring me and my friend down the entire time we were looking to shop and would follow us even after the fact we went to checkout to check everything out we are two black women both 17 we get people are stealing but we were wearing all lululemon we have our wallets in our hand. Lululemon has a lot of nice and comfortable clothes. I have come to the store a few times, just in the past week, and every experience has been poor. I swear the staff is trying to give me a bad experience. They have tried to sell me on some ideas in terms of their product, and I ask an in-depth question in-regards to it, and I get a bad attitude in response. I have had one great experience. When we purchase the on sale items from Bellevue square as a first-time customer, the salesperson never informed us that sale items are final sale. After I decided the item is not what I wanted, I tried to ask for a store credit or return. That's the moment I knew I couldn't do it. The store manager who is very unhelpful. She repeatedly said "there's nothing else I can do". I'm not unhappy with the store's customer service. Very unhappy with Lululemon Alderwood. Had to return 2 pairs of leggings and unfortunately one didn't have a tag because my granddaughter tore it off. However, I had the receipt. It clearly showed both items. Both were not used. They were brand new, but apparently their policy is that all items have to have the tag for hygiene reasons (that's what they said). I understand the policy, but they were so rude. Never buying another Lululemon piece of clothing again. Recommend that you don't either. You can find good leggings for a lot cheaper and better customer service. read more

I purchased an item in the Portland store and before I paid for it I specifically asked if I could return it in Seattle if I didn't like it, and was told "yes." The item ended up being pretty uncomfortable so I went to the Alderwood store to return it and the lady refused. Now I have to go through corporate to get my refund. Which is a pain in the ass. I had been in here one time before - and no one helped me. I was a little heavier at the time, but I thought I might be inspired by the women working. I was ignored, even though "heavier" for me, was still a size they carried. A friend of mine convinced me to go in, regardless of the employees stuck up attitude, and buy a pair of pants, because, according to him, I "would not regret it." I went in, cautiously and skeptical, but there was ONE SUPER friendly and kind soul at this location - Christina / Tina. I only go in every 6 months or so because I'm busy, but the quality of the product is great. I had one seam rip, and I was told I will not have to pay to get it fixed. If Christina is not working, I won't buy anything. I will wait, or not purchase anything. So - this company should be grateful for this girl, because we go in and purchase 6 or 7 items at time. Imagine how much more money this business could make if they were ALL nice to EVERYONE that came into their stores, regardless of their size, shape, color, and what they are wearing or not wearing. Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. Sometimes, stores don't need to kiss your butt when you walk in. Stop feeling the need to be catered to all the time and stop being sensitive when you are not in your safe space. That being said, I had to exchange clothing, return a few things, lost my receipt for a few items. Went to the Lynnwood location as it was the closest. The sales staff including the manager at the counter was more than patient with me as we worked through my annoying list of things. Even went above and beyond by getting new shirts ordered via the website and having it shipped to the store. For every person that whines, there exist good experiences. Hope yours is too. I rarely feel compelled to write to a business but after my experience at the lululemon at the Alderwood mall in Lynnwood, WA, I believe it necessary. Received a pair of running shorts and long sleeved shirt as a gift from my sister for Christmas. I went to the closest store to return it. The items still had tags on them and were in the lululemon bag. I was told I couldn't exchange them for a larger size without the receipt or account info. They had my sisters number in the system but no items (that's a whole different issue) so I was told by the cashier that they couldn't exchange the items because they could be stolen. I found that statement to be insulting considering integrity is the most important value to me. My sister called the store and offered to give her credit/debit card number for proof of purchase and was told no that wouldn't work. By then end I handed the clothes to my ten year old who could fit them because it wasn't worth the time I'd already spent trying to exchange them. You policy is extremely frustrating for someone in my situation. I am a military spouse living overseas where there are no lululemon shops and only on a short holiday to WA so that is why I didn't have the time to pursue exchange. As an athlete training for another Ironman 6-7 days a week, I thought I'd give your brand a try since it was a gift but your unfriendly customer service and return policies reassured me that I need to stick to my favorite brands Coeur, Brooks, Zoot, and Pearl Izumi. I don't want anything from lululemon, that's not the intent of this email. I'm just disappointed for those that wear your brand that you are not the personable brand you once were. read more

This is a smaller location than others but for me it gets the job done. I have a super hard time paying this kind of money for yoga clothes, but they are worth it. I have actually scored some pretty decent deals in here with finial sale stuff..and it is just that, finial sale so make sure it fits etc. Never had an issue with customer service, they are usually friendly and give suggestions and help if I need it. read more

Apparently, one of the employees brought their dog to work today because they did not have anyone to take care of it (this is what we were told by an employee) and the dog was wandering around the store. Lululemon is known for having good customer service, and for a company that sells leggings that cost $100-$150 a pair they should be. This Lululemon store has by far the worst customer service of any Lululemon I have been in. Often the girls working are huddled together gossiping about customers or mocking some of the clothes that are for sale. They seem inconvenienced by customers that are in the store. I love Lulu and we are a partner of the company. When I came into the Lynnwood location I was not greeted. I picked out a few things I really liked. I tired them on and the gentlemen I was working with was at first kind and made sure I had the right sizes. I went up to the register to purchase my items and one of my staff members works for Lulu and I was told that I could use her I LOVE YOU MAN discount. When I asked the gentleman if he could apply the discount I was told I could only get this discount if the Lulu employee was with me. I said I had never heard of this and have been able to take advantage of this opportunity in the past. He said well there is nothing I can do. I got upset and walked out of the store. Then after walking around the mall for a minute I walked back in and asked to speak with the manager. She said that the only way I could get the discount is if I go to the store the employee works at that wanted to give me her discount. I said that was not what the last rep said to me. So due to being a partner of Lulu I did get a 25% discount on my items how ever I felt like a victim and considering I see thousands of people a day in my line of work and all these people pay attention to what I wear I will not be recommending Lynnwood Lulu due to the way I was treated. To add a bit more fuel to my frustration when I get home I notice that they DID not take the ink tag off my shorts I purchased so I need to go back to the location and get the tag removed. I think if you are trying to work with customers you should go above and beyond for people as people read social media and I can see that your track record is not great. I hope that everyone that goes to Lulu gets treated with care and respect. I feel this was a missed opportunity on there behalf. I am in the gym industry and again I see hundreds of people daily that ask about my apparel. But I will be going to get the tag removed from my shorts that the rep left on them and I will never be going to the Lynnwood location ever again. Thank you for your time read more

So I'm a die hard lululemon lover !! I wear it non stop, all day everyday. I've been to at least 30-40 different lulus in the US + Canada, and this Alderwood store is my absolute favourite. The ladies running the store are always so sweet, very helpful, they take the time to chat with my kiddos & sometimes colour on the white board with my 3.5 year old! One of my fav stores! I have spent thousands of dollars at Lululemon in the past and I really love the University Village and even the Bellevue store... So I was discouraged and VERY disappointed when I went to Alderwood mall to do a quick exchange because the customer service was awful. Two girls stood behind the counter gossiping about customers, and the guy in the fitting room wouldn't get me a new white tank from the back after the one on the floor had obvious coffee stains on it. Personally I'm not a fan of Lulu Lemon. I find their workout gear to be overpriced for stuff you're going to sweat in anyway. My daughter loves this brand though. She got a pair of pants right after Christmas, so I was pretty pissed when her pants suddenly split. What a waste of $109.00. My daughter called LuLu Lemon and they said they would fix the seam at no charge. We walked in and were directed to the back where we were immediately greeted enthusiastically by Katie, who took note of multiple seam issues and said she would rather exchange the pants then repair them. Katie was awesome with her customer service and treated my 12 year old daughter, who I put in charge of the return, just like any other customer. She even said good bye making sure to use my daughters name. I may not be a fan of the clothing at this store, but I'm certainly a fan of the customer service! Thanks, Katie! read more

I've had really bad experiences with staff members the past three times I've been in the store. Rude staff, long lines, and people unwilling to help. My boyfriend got me some stuff for Christmas with his military discount for the "holiday hookup" and was told that I'd be able to make returns or exchanges if he got the wrong stuff. I went back in because he got a legging I didn't like and I was told I could only buy leggings in the same line... so I don't like any of them. The reason they gave was that his discount wasn't coded with the "holiday hookup" just the regular discount but that would have been the error of the staff because he got them during that promotion. I tried a different color of the leggings and still didn't like them so I went this evening at 7:00 and they were closed even after I double checked that they were open until 8. I understand that COVID is causing extra challenges for all businesses but i just wish if their hours were different they would have made it known so I didn't rush over after work. I went in to ask if they could repair my pants and the girl talked to me in the most snobby voice and she was very condescending and rude. Not impressed with quality style or service. I have a ton of work out gear from many places as have been doing long distance triathlons for years. I've purchased clothing from this store before and although it's nice it's not my favorite. Styles are the same almost year after year. My college student son bought me new work out gear for Christmas. Bless his heart he bought me smalls and I've never been small. I intended to return it. Got busy and set it aside. I know they have a strict return policy so I knew I was outside the window of getting money back. What i didn't expect was when I went to exchange showing the receipts what he paid a much lesser amount available to my exchange. This made me frustrated that I didn't at least get full purchase power in the store. He spent over a $150 of his hard earned money on me and I walked out with less than he intended. With receipts. This is a high end store. If I had not had receipts I could understand this process but clearly had receipts and clothing was never even tried on because I knew it was not my size. I was willing to shop and replace clothing and spend more money but after this treatment from this high end store I will not return and will discourage my athletic friends to avoid as well. Could easily have been resolved by simply a straight exchange. Wow. If this was an outlet store or discount store I could understand. I spend many dollars on work out gear each year as I spend 10-15 hours a week training. High end stores should have high end service and clearly not hitting the mark of what they are marketing towards! read more
