Costco, Zappos...and Lululemon! What's common theme here?...a great return policy! Whenever I walk by the Lululemon in Downtown Summerlin, I can't help myself from looking at the window display...at least on the times that their tractor beam doesn't grab me and pull me straight in :) It's been over 6 years since I purchased my first Yoga outfit from Lululemon, and it is still one of my favorite yoga outfits. I take heated/non-heated yoga classes, Kettle bell, Pilates, and the like...so you can imagine the number of times I wash these outfits...but they always hold their shape and colors...no saggy bottoms or faded colors with Lululemon! Considering the fact that I still wear the first yoga pants I purchased over 6 years ago, it is easy to see that you are paying for a quality garment. Yes, you pay little more, but you can use them a lot longer! But if you end up with something that doesn't hold up to the test of time, their return policy is exceptional. Let's say there are threads coming off your new top. You can take it in and have them repair it for free! If your pants are too long, they will take care of the alteration for you free of charge. The staff here always make shopping so effortless and are full of smiles! Not only do they have the best quality products, they also engage with community...offering free classes, running clubs, and sponsoring events with good causes. I love Lululemon, especially one in Downtown Summerlin! This is a convenient location, were you can avoid frustrations of venturing to the Fashionshow mall. Cindy the manager of this lululemon is a cold hearted horrible human! Why would lululemon have an unkind store manager? I took in a $413 gift from my sweetheart to return the contents for size 4 rather than size 2. I did not have a receipt. I was treated like a criminal. WHY!? Especially when my whole wardrobe is Lulu as is my 3 daughters! Has lululemon lost their soul? They left me in the corner waiting. As Cindy hastily passed by me, I asked "please may I know what is going on"? Cindy harshly says to me as she's passing by I HAD TO ASK HER! she did not come to me to tell me, "I'm not able to get through to the store". Did she stop to talk to me? No! Was she kind? No! I waited 10 min longer, then I asked the try in clothing clerk, "please will you get Cindy in the back, I would like to find out what is going on"? The girl was apprehensive. Are your employees scared of you? My sweetheart was on the phone with me, he gave them his name, the amount, the day and the time he purchased these goods, still this was not enough I waited for 20 minutes, Cindy comes out from the back 2nd time- says NOTHING to me, again! He gets off of the phone with me, calls Lulu Fashion Island- with ease he gets the receipt. I went to the check out girl got my bag of too small things and left. Meanwhile my sweetheart had already gotten through to Lulu Fashion Island and retrieved the receipt. "Couldn't get through Cindy"? Was that a lie? Why did this have to be so complicated? More so Unkind!? SHAME ON YOU ANGRY CINDY!!! If you don't like your job LEAVE!!! Ineffective manager, with timid employee's makes for a low vibrational store. I love lulu. I I own a lot of lulu. I will continue to buy lulu. BUT NEVER FROM THIS STORE. Their customer service is poor, I have left many times after being treated terribly and snarky, just to call corporate and have them happily help me with my issue. Got up early to be treated like scum and talked to like I was dumb. Let me begin BEFORE Christmas, I came in to get my daughter a sports bra,us both being told several times over the years we could alter one. I bought the one she was dying for and sent it out with company, meaning using their alterations service. I was told to come back 4 days later which I did for a Christmas present (don't forget the season and every mom is jumping through hoops to make everything perfect) it's getting late in the season.... I was then told "they couldn't do the alterations",ok, so why wouldn't anyone call me?(I see my number prominently displayed on the receipt several times) I ask them this.... "we don't call "I was told. YOU DONT CALL??? What kind of operation is this? You don't let your customers know you can't do something you TOLD them you could do??? Ok.... So I am down a present. Moving forward, we go in the day after Christmas, 6 am. Sale... we figure we can get a good deal or at least a different bra. We waited in line, tried on the bra, I pinned it according to where we wanted the alterations, I see it's busy and I'm trying to help, normally they do this. Then we wait while the girls that work there talk about an order... and then they talk about how one looks like a server in a restaurant and then they let someone into the dressing room.... all while literally ignoring us. So I say a polite "hello", and the lady shoots a look over her shoulder(she's older but still attractive, long black hair, a bushel of fake lashes on each eye,she's in great shape but I'd describe her as a bit manly looking)anyway, she looks a bit irritated but I'm not blaming her, it's 6:20 am and there are angry Summerlin yoga ladies getting a bit greedy. I explain we bought a bra etc.... and since that one can't be altered, we woke up early to come in and get a different one. I had on the counter the two bras. The bushel of lashes lady flippantly says, yeah, we don't call on alterations...before I could finish my story she again says, we call no one.... she thinks I wanted a call when it was done, we explain no, a call to let me know my purchase can't be altered. She's almost rolling her eyes, I can tell she doesn't want to deal with me. She tells my daughter that the bra she wants now doesn't fit her, not made for her and she shouldn't wear it. My daughter had just tried it on and was happy with the fit other than the straps,(she is large chested, but not big anywhere else so the straps are too long on her.)Almost all teenagers have body issues and bushel of lashes lady did not help my 17 year old with hers. I know this is a huge corporation and you only really care about the bottom line which is money not people, but seriously, your customers are the ones putting that money on your bottom line, we make the company. It's already bad enough how snotty,rude,condescending and impolite the women who work there are to begin with. I always feel like I have to have on my lulu leggings, my lulu jacket, lulu thong, scrunchie or they look down their noses at me when I come in. I am wondering at this point how much abuse is worth it? I think at this point Spanx makes a great legging, so do a few other places, sports bras can be found from Nike, Fabletics.... there are so many now a days. Sure, no one really approaches you to ask if you need help, but I like to shop in peace and I'm sure they are ready to help if you ask them questions. My husband came here to buy me a gift, they made him a account and military discount added and the lady that helped him said I can use his account and use the discount! So I have been using his account several times no problem. But yesterday a woman whose name I forgot but I have her cashier number was very rude to me about it. I came in and she asked me where my military I.D. was. I said oh I use my husbands, she said that's not allowed and spouses receive an I.D too. (Haven't made it to nellis to get one) I said I've never had this problem before should I go get him he's waiting in the car with our daughters? Two things you will never have to chase: true friends and true love - Mandy Hale Lululemon Athletica has the best quality athletic apparel that I've owned. Yes they are expensive, but the quality and craftsmanship of their work justifies the price. They also stand behind their product and will replace items that fail from normal use. These aspects are great, but my absolute favorite thing about Lululemon is that they host weekly yoga classes for free!... I love this community aspect of their business. I understand that they are a business, and free yoga classes also means yoga students in their store, but genuine community develops when people show up at the same place on a regular basis, and that trumps any additional motive the company may have. I would encourage anyone interested in trying out yoga to go to a couple months of classes and see if you connect to a teacher. Lululemon invites different teachers to some in and lead classes each week. I am also a fan of Lululemon's yoga mats, which are actually priced more reasonably than other mats of the same quality. I have owned several yoga mats, but my go-to mat is my first Lululemon, now full of character from time spent practicing. read more

The staff is always so helpful and if item is not there they'll order it. High energy in store and doesn't matter which location. I believe the price point of clothing is well worth it. Just tried to return an item that was purchased 10 days ago at full price, still brand new with tags, and have original receipt (return policy is 14 days as many of you know). Was told by the employee ERIN "if you want to return it, I can only give you the sale price because it's on sale now." WHAT?!?!? Asked for an explanation as to why this was the case when I paid full price, never wore it, and have my receipt. I could understand if I didn't have my receipt, or if I wore it. Talk about a scene straight out of pretty woman.. but the difference is I felt like they were waiting for me to steal. One stars because I can't do zero and I love LuLulemon and my addiction is real.. but the customer service. Holy crap. Remember it's the paying customers who keep your business afloat. It all started off with me coming into exchange a gift I got for Christmas. A pair of cute pants and a sweater that was unfortunately to big. Didn't have a receipt on me due to it being a gift. Not that I was returning it but just exchanging it. The girl who initially helped me was giving me a hard time. I had the tag but it got snagged on something and ripped off. She was about to tell me she wasn't going to take it, until I mentioned how it would be such a disappointment as I spend quiet a bit of money here. (I use to work retail a long time ago and I can tell you a pack of those tags are very cheap and the amount of time it would take to gun it back onto the item wouldn't even amount to how much you get paid for 2 minutes). She looked at me and told me she would allow it just this once. So fine, I let it go. I get the copy of receipt sent to me via a picture and bam, I receive my credit. Now, I don't plan on leaving the store until I find an item or two that I want. Most stores would have something you could put your items in while you shop around. They don't. I had brought one of my lulu lemon bags in and decided I'd use it just keep everything together so I could use both my hands to look around and shop. She immediately took the bag and the items I wanted to try on and put them on a rack by the register so "no one would question me". Made me feel really belittled in a way.. but whatever. I proceed to shop while eyes just continue to watch me. Almost like I'm being judged and shouldn't be in the store. Anyways, now my hands are full with about 6-7 different items and I'm waiting by the fitting room. Three of the employees were gathered near by talking about non work related things.. don't know names but one was pregnant. I made eye contact with one of them as I wait to be acknowledged and she turns to the other two and says I need to go clock in. She walks away and the other two turn the other way and start walking to the front of the store. At this point, I had to walk around the area to another employee who seem to have been actually working. She helped me earlier with a few questions and then assisted me with the fitting room. Wish I got her name because she was really the only pleasant encounter thus far. Now I'm ready to check out. I walk up to the cash wrap. Three of them standing there by the middle register. We make eye contact, they just stare. I say hello and walk up. One who rings me up doesn't even really acknowledge me and now I'm trying to awkwardly figure out where to set my stuff down so we can finish the transaction. I've been purchasing from and wearing Lululemon since before they had many US stores. I am so disappointed in this Downtown Summerlin store. I've noticed the last few times I've been here that a few of the store employees are very condescending, not just to me but to other customers as well. Additionally, their selection of items is extremely limited and everything seems to, "have to be ordered." I've been in a few other Lululemon stores in California and Arizona and they seem to be well-stocked. The final straw though occurred this week. I bought my daughter a pair of leggings for her birthday and was so proud that I got my shopping done early. Unfortunately the pants did not fit and I attempted to return them. By the time I took them back it was a few days past the 30 day return window which I didn't even know existed, and so they would do nothing for me, not even an exchange or credit. This is so upsetting to me especially since I have spent tens of thousands of dollars in the store over the past years. It's upsetting because my daughter and I live in our workout clothes but I may have to permanently switch to Athleta where they have wonderful clothes and I'm treated very well. read more

I have never been a fan of spending a lot of money on workout clothes, but I guess you get what you pay for. I have a few pieces from Lululemon I bought years ago and most are all in great shape. I did have a reversible shirt that had a defect, not expecting anything I brought the shirt in to see what I could do differently to avoid the same problem. Without even asking the manager was quick to offer another shirt in exchange. I kid you not the shirt was probably 6 years old, but it didn't matter. I'm a dancer, but relatively new to Lululemon clothing. I purchased my first jacket about 2 years ago, as a birthday present to myself. I loved its beautiful purple color, soft, stretchy fabric and unique cross-body zip. I purchased it for warming up in ballet class because it hugs my body but provides enough warm for cold studios and theatres. I got SO many compliments on it and I'd been waiting to find a black jacket I liked just as much. When I first went into this store, the staff was awesome in letting me know that that style would be coming in a couple weeks with the (then, late Summer) season. I had popped in on a whim and was carrying a bulky box for a return at a nearby store and one of the staff members actually offered me an (iconic) bag to hold it in even though I didn't buy a thing! Sure enough though, when I returned a few weeks later, they had the jackets I'd been waiting for! While everything in the store is my style or fits me the way I wish it did (no different than any other retail shop) I appreciate the attentiveness and knowledge the staff always seems to have and I enjoy how the items are displayed throughout the shop. You can quickly browse around and not feel like you've missed the next thing you'll love! read more

I shop at Lululemon all the time and this is the first bad experience I've had with them. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed. On 10/10, I went in to this location to buy another pair of black 25' aligns for an upcoming trip. I always get hemmed to 24'. So upon checking out, a male Educator rung up my items and I told him I needed the pants sent out for hemming. He pulled up my account with my phone number and just took my leggings and put them on the counter behind him that was already cluttered with clothes and said it would be ready in a week. We were about to walk away when my husband realized he didn't give me the copy of my slip for the hemming. So we went back to the counter and asked one of the other Educators. The male Educator came out from the back and said: oh you want the copy? So he starts to write it down and hand it to me. I start to walk away and look at it and the last name is incorrect. So I go back again and tell him that isn't my last name. He looks shocked and goes: really?! Well, someone must've put it in the system wrong, I'll fix it. I knew that was a complete lie. My daughter and I both shop there with the same phone number and have never had problems with the incorrect name. I decided to just let it go. On 10/21 I go back to pick up my leggings because we were going out of town on the 23rd. When I got home, I took the legging out of the bag to put them in my suitcase and they were not my leggings! They were Wunder Unders in a size 10! My Aligns were a size 2! We go back the next day and basically we're told that the hemming company mixed the leggings up with the paperwork. They said my leggings weren't there and the person that had mine didn't bring them back yet. Ummmmm, I find that hard to believe. The person who has my size 2's in a different style hasn't noticed!? So basically I was screwed. I couldn't get my leggings back in time. They sent out another size 2 to get hemmed. What an inconvenience to say the least. I reached out to lululemon online and they said someone from their Resolutions Team would contact me. On Saturday I missed a call from the Manager at the Downtown Summerlin Store. I called back on Sunday and they told me she would be back Tuesday and they would leave her a message to call me back. Today is Thursday 10/29 and no one has contacted me. I love LuLu Lemon. More for my daughter...the clothes show her how important she is to me. Quality daughter = clothes. The men's clothing are not as masculine as I like however they are well made. Angie told us to stay and break in the couch because my son is stuck on the Mariners Game!!! Kinda shocked this was on!! Finally a Lulu off of the strip! If you're not familiar with lululemon its super stylish workout gear made from mostly tech (aka the quick drying stuff) fabrics. *No more working out in your high school gym shirt* They are more pricey than the gear you find at target or marshals but I find it holds up much better than cheaper counterparts. Now as for this store: Its laid out like most others I've been in, all of the staple pants and shorts in cubbies along the wall, and the staple shirts along one wall. Its nice that the pants are arranged in crop-full length and fitted-looser, as well as the shirts are arranged by support. The staff is also much more friendly than the fashion show location. This was the first Lululemon store I had seen (here in Vegas!) since my first visit to their first stores (domestically) in Santa Monica, CA. As I remembered, the prices are a bit pricey compared to the many other athletic apparel out on the market, but I tell ya....the clothes seem to last FOREVER! Okay, perhaps not forever, but the one black pant I bought back in Santa Monica has lasted well over 5+ years! They offer free alterations (back then and now still) for the items bought in the store...and to my surprise they offered to fix my old pair of pants where the stitches came undone. I needn't my old receipt, as they were able to see that it had the lululemon logo, and resembled what they offered. So, I just received my altered pants back after only a few days... I had initially visited this store to ask about fixing and to see sale items, but ended up buying a brand new pair of "Dance Studio Pant" (told it was good for Zumba classes) just so I could leave my old pair there to get fixed! I must have tried on 10-15 pairs since the associates were so helpful while I was in the dressing room. Though I had not purchased all the ones they recommended, they weren't snooty about it... Overall, lululemon is a great product, I also bought a tank top from the first visit in Santa Monica and it is still in New-Looking condition. This has been my favorite location in town for years and I often make the drive from Henderson to this store specifically. The customer service and friendliness of the staff are top notch here! I'm always greeted right when I walk in and am offered to start up a fitting room as soon as I'm gathering items. There's even been a few times when something I wanted wasn't in stock in store and they offered to order it online for me and ship it to my home. I also appreciate that they have an awesome run club that meets up at the store weekly! read more

Finally took a trip to the Downtown Summerlin area for Lululemon. I had heard good things about this location. Very inviting store ambiance. Had a gift card and that really helps. Prices are definitely more than your average yoga attire but worth it. Aubrey was by the fitting room and quite pleasant and helpful. Thank you Aubrey. There was one area (small) that features sale items and I found a cross body bag and some yoga shorts. Good deal! Quite a difference from the location in Orlando FL area, the outlet center. My mom and I were there and my mom mistakenly got some incorrect sizes. I went out of the dressing rooms to ask for help. The girls folding clothes said they couldn't help us because 'we are doing this right now'- which was folding clothes. Are you serious? Very disappointing. Aren't you supposed to help customers? One person came out of the woodworks to finally help but she was not much help either. That's a shame :( read more

I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this store in particular. Today I went to return a $60 sports bra I got as a gift for Xmas with a receipt. It's is 1/27. The date for returns was apparently 1/24 which I didn't know. All I wanted to do was exchange it or get a store credit for the money that my mother spent on something I can't wear. They refused the return completely. They made no effort to offer a solution of any kind. This is such bad business. I'm an instructor at TruFusion, have been a Sweat member for years and have a large following that I've always gladly worn and supported Lululemon in front of. But that stops today. I will no longer buy or support this brand after being treated this way. 3 days?? Give me a break. They could have easily accepted the return and allowed me to get something else. Now I'm stuck with a bra I can't and don't want to wear. Really terrible customer service!!!! I'm shocked. I was very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff at this store! I'm from the U.K. and don't buy clothing often so am still trying to get used to the sizing and they were great and making sure I could try on things that fitted me properly. In the fitting room, if something didn't look right, the assistant had no issue recommending something similar and finding an appropriate sub in store for me to try. The variety of clothing and colours are beautiful. However I do think as a brand Lululemon are overpriced for the quality of product they offer. I tried on 4 pairs of leggings - some of them black - and found that they were see through enough so I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing them out. Also, the same style top in different colours fitted differently and the stitching was off on the one I tried. For a few great pieces, it's great, but I feel that you could get better quality pieces in other stores for less of a hit to your wallet. read more
