For those fed up with Sports Direct and in need of some expert guidance this may be a more helpful place to visit. It does cover more high end goods here (boots start at about £40), but these are the higher quality boots. In general the stock is reasonably priced, but held back a bit by a lack of range. However, if you tell the staff what you need you're likely to walk out with it after not very long due to the superior knowledge of these staff. The only sizes carried in "typical" stores start at a size 30 band and go up to like a DDD maybe. Most women think they are a 32-36 B, C, or D. In the majority of cases, this is wrong. We are also taught that a "DD cup" is like WHOA THAT'S SO HUGE when it is not. It depends on the band size. Someone can wear, say, a 28FF, and that person looks "normal". An FF is not some insanely huge size--although most women would never imagine they could be an FF--it doesn't even sound like a real size to us!! It sounds outrageous, because that's what we've been taught. Go to the site Brabandproject to see what real bra sizes look like. The earlier review from Eleanor is a *perfect* example of this. She doesn't believe she could be a 28FF and says she'll keep wearing a 32D since that's what she can find in stores. Then she insinuates that Bravissimo has a racket to make women think they need bras they can only find in Bravissimo. I really hope no one takes this to heart. It is very incorrect advice. Look, it's totally messed up that stores don't stock bras in the sizes we need. Unfortunately, women who wear these sizes have to order them online. I went in the morning and was able to meet with someone after just a couple minutes. You go into a fitting room with your staffer and you take off your shirt and they start bringing you bras until you find one that fits. They are experts at knowing what makes for a perfectly fitting bra. The women I worked with was great. (The size I was already wearing wasn't too far off because I'd done my own measuring years ago after studying reddit's /r/abrathatfits.) After we determined the correct size, I shopped a little on my own and picked out another bra. They range in prices, but mine were around...40 pounds, I think. They carry Bravissimo brand and other brands too, like Panache. They also carry swimsuits. The bottom floor of the store has clothing that's made to fit curvy women. Such an amazing idea!! Definitely stop by if you've never had a proper bra fitting!!

We would sit in the middle of route one on the shoe trying-on bit (could someone let me know what the real name for this is, please?) and watch out "boyfriends" try on Vans jumpers and stare longingly at wheels for skateboards. I have no use for it now as I don't try and pick up teenagers that often, but it still makes me happy that it's there.

It's mostly skating apparel, including jeans of all fits, baggy t-shirts, beanies and, of course, hoodies. Hardly any of the styles or brands are my thing at all anymore, but a lot of people of all ages are into it and Route One is a great place to visit to find stuff like this. They also sell all you need to set up a decent skateboard, including good bearings and trucks as well as tool kits to make life easier setting them up. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about this sort stuff so if it's your thing then it's the place to come.

In sale time they're not exactly bad, but they are reasonable prices and really what you would expect to pay outside of the sale times with a few items being the exceptions and being very good deals. Outside of sale times there isn't particularly much reason to come here. I know sports direct doesn't offer the same quality of service, but it really is worth the cheaper prices to sacrifice the quality and when it comes to price this shop fails badly compared to Sports Direct. Don't get me wrong this place isn't bad value it's just that there is a lot cheaper just down the road.

So every once in a while it's worth popping into Greaves, heading up to the second or third floor, and checking out the state of their Ugg prices. One time I was greeted with a beautiful pair of gold Uggs for the bargain price of £60. Let me put this in context for you, they're normally a HUNDRED and sixty. Sadly, they only had them in size 8. I did try them on, but even I had to concede that with my size five feet I looked like a clown. Definitely worth checking though!

From gift rugby/football jerseys to swimming or running equipment, I always found exactly what I was there for. The staff is very friendly and takes the time to help you properly. The range of brands and items is not as large as in other stores (but if you want more choice, their other glasgow store is a bit bigger I think!), but it is still 4 stories of products and as I said, there will be what you are after! (Ok, you can blame me if it's not the case:)) In terms of price, well it's all mainly big brands, so you won't find cheap deals there, but you can be certain it's going to be top quality.
