Listen to this. I gave a nice young man my old downhill bike and when he brought it in to get it looked at they accused him of stealing it, and TOOK IT OFF OF HIM AND GAVE IT TO THE POLICE. He is still currently trying to get it back. I called the shop (today) to try to clear it up and POLITELY gave him clear evidence of the boy not having stolen the bike via photos, and they were rude to me too and didn't offer to help at all. It was MY BIKE! I appreciate people trying to keep bikes from being stolen, as I am a big fan of my expensive bikes, but this was ridiculous. The only description they had of the stolen bike was that it was a BLACK Specialized S-works. My bike was a grey carbon fiber 2007-09 Specialized S works with an Austin Texas bike shop sticker on it and pink handlebars and white forks. They profiled the poor kid, took it off of him, and treated him like garbage. Find another bike shop. There's plenty of good bike shops in Edinburgh. Steer clear of this one. Leith Cycles is busy but great.
