Hi Lululemon, I recently got back from visiting a lululemon store in Natick Mall. I'm writing today because I experienced discrimination at this store and it looks like the brand is making an effort to eliminate this type of behavior with in your establishments. Upon arrival I received no greeting even though I stood within 15-20 ft from the register. My grandmother and I browsed te store for about 15 to 20 minutes and no one came to ask if I needed assistance with sizes or styles of any sort. In addition to being ignored my the entire shopping experience; I stood in from of the register to pay I was ignored for 2 mins as the employee didn't acknowledge me while she Removed lint from pants. After 2-3 mins of being ignored an employee also at the register offered to help. I don't think removing lint from pants is more important than assisting a customer with purchasing an item Specially at the expense of making a customer feel ignored and insignificant. One employee was removing lint from pants and I find it really interesting that she couldn't take two seconds to say hello when I stood right in front of her to pay for my item. I'm a woman of color in this type of discrimination is not foreign to me I made her aware how I felt and did not get to purchase my item because this made me upset. I'm a paying customers and a guest at the store. I should be treated with more respect, its basic human decency. It is my hope that employers train their employees to treat everyone with the same respect and dignity we all deserve regardless of how they look and the color of their skin. Before visiting Lululemon I went to Warby Parker and bath and Bodyworks in my experience was the complete opposite upon arrival the employees greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. If you ever wonder why these companies are in business, you gotta wonder if it's their products or customer service that keeps patrons from returning. Frequent lululemon shopper. These leggings are the BEST! Great material, comfortable, durable... You just NEED at least one pair in your life. But this location; the WORST! Avoid this location. You better come in knowing exactly what you need, you better know what size you wear, (I'm normally an 8 in bottoms but a 6 in lululemon sizing), you better know the difference in all the leggings, and DONT even think about asking for help! Also good luck finding the right size in what you want.. I felt like I was going through the bins of a goodwill outlet. So messy! I came into the fitting room 30 min before closing with the goal of quickly trying on 2 pairs of leggings and going to check out as soon as I saw what size fit better. (I already knew what style I had and wanted because I was simply there to get another pair of lulus that I had back home. When I approached the fitting room gal, I had to wait to get acknowledged and then had to wait to get the fitting rooms sanitized. Out of the 8 rooms, one was occupied and the rest weren't sanitized. ‍ All the girls that worked there talked about what time they were leaving and who had to work when. No one offered any assistance and when I DID need a 6 in the joggers I couldn't find in the mess of a wall, the girl seemed SO bothered! When she came back, she brought a 6 in a different color (camo instead of black) and said "the black isn't out there but here's a 6 for you to try on". Not a word about whether they have a 6 in the back or if I can order it. She didn't even call me by name or knock on my door and quickly hung the joggers on the outdoor handle. When I opened the door to see if she was mumbling to me, she again looked annoyed and said "yea I said I hung them on the door". Anywho, I grabbed the pair I was buying and went to the cashier. The next incompetent associate rang me up with absolutely no life in her, and sent me off without even offering a "thanks for shopping with us" or "we'll see you next time". The next morning as I was putting my leggings on to go to the airport (3:45am wake up call for a 6am departure time), I realized the gal never took off the security sensor. Are. You. Kidding. Me??! I bought these specifically for comfort flying out the next morning. Anywho, going in to this location, you're paying for quality of CLOTHES.... definitely not service. it wasn't the stores fault, but i was eaten up and spit back out by an 8 year old gremlin. after an aggressive game of tug of war over the strawberry milk colored define jacket, i won ofc. smacked the kid in the head and when she started crying i told her where to stick it. gentle parenting is not where its at. when i went into the dressing room, i had an employee who looked like a barbie who had done a little too much LSD helping me. i'm trying on my clothes and i heard a scratching on the door. i was dressed and so i opened it. its the monkey looking employee holding a banana colored swiftly tank in her hand; very fitting. when i asked her what she needed, she just swung her ponytail and asked if i was okay. she said my time was up, so she ripped the shirt off me and pushed me into the store. my nips were cold at this point. then i saw ppl from my work and one of them grabbed a titty. ngl a little weird. this made my nips hurt more. read more

After walking around the Natick Collection, I saw the stretchy pants in the window of Lululemon. Normally, I go with waistands that are non-stretch, but after birthing this baby, the tummy section of my body is not as tight as it normally is.... Making pre-pregnancy clothing more muffin top-ish, and maternity clothing too loose. What better to wear than yoga pants, right? Works for me at buffets, so it MUST work for flabby bellies. No one acknowledged me when I walked in the store, which always makes me feel like I don't want to waste my money. I walked around for about 15 minutes, and the sales people were all engaged in conversations with one another, talking about yoga classes they had taken, their favorite instructors, and what sort of diets they were on. It honestly surprised me, since I have a friend who interviewed with them, and customer service was their mantra -- other than "Ommm", of course. Maybe it was Natick, maybe it was the Collection, but overall, this Lululemon left a sour taste in my mouth. Patooey! read more

Over the years I have purchased a couple jogging skirt/short sets and always wanted to get a pair of yoga pants but wasn't sure if I could justify spending $100 on a pair of yoga pants. I finally did here. I purchased two yoga pants and one running crop. I spent just under $300 but I figured these pants would last me at least 4 years. I washed them all as directed. In a cold wash, with only other lulu products, hang dry. After only two washes my charcoal astro pants are are covered in pills. They look like crap and I have only worn them a handful of times. Now I only wear them to clean the house! I brought the pants back to the store with my receipt that proved I had only bought them two months ago and I explained that I had washed them as directed to the manager and she was so rude and dismissive with me. She kept repeating herself "clearly you didn't wash them as directed" ...it was like she wasn't even listening to me. Her name was Bridget. I asked if this happens a lot and she insisted it didn't but by listening to her rehearsed blame the customer excuse and reading reviews online, I'm pretty sure this happens frequently. The charcoal luon they use in particular is very crappy. The light gray luon I purchased still looks new and my running crops are still great. I seriously only got two or three wears out of the charcoal pants before they looked like had owned them for ten years. I have yoga pants from old navy that I paid $12 for that fit just as well, I have owned them for years, and I can wash and dry them with other clothing and they still look brand new. Why can't this place do it right? Also, the VSX line from Victoria's secret is cheaper and good quality. They fit well and look like lulus but you don't have to treat them like a delicate pair of lace panties. Work-out clothes should last more than two sittings in front of the television. read more

I love this store and the complimentary hemming they offer (for those of us too tall for a short and a bit shorter than a tall). I have several pairs of their Groove Pant (so comfortable & flattering), they are the perfect transition pants between a yoga class and grocery shopping. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love a lot of the functional yet feminine apparel and accessories. They also hold free classes each month, I really wanted to try the one offered in July (Barre in Newton) but the 6am start time made it the tiniest bit less appealing. read more

I didn't think the day would ever come. But I am now officially a Lemonhead. In fact, I now wonder how I ever worked out in anything besides Lulu gear. It just isn't the same. Since I've been yoga-ing regularly for the past year and a half, I've become pretty good. Humble brags aside, I have come to realize that no matter how skilled you are, it's kind of distracting when you're praying your yoga pants won't fall down when you're in tree pose, because you can feel the inside of your foot going down your upper thigh, taking your pant with it! I am definitely uninterested in mooning anyone in my class. Enter: the Wunder Unders. WOW! Not only do they make me look fantastic, they have helped my practice, too! Because I don't have to worry about my pants. They feel like wearing nothing, but they keep everything in place. Yes, the price tag is steep. Yes, I cried a little inside when I went up to the registers and pulled out the Amex. But. They're worth every penny. I bought both the pant and the crops, and I've been having a love affair with the long pants -- I wear them over my heels in the yoga studio. I wear them with boots when I'm running errands. They look and feel great for every occasion. Occasionally, they'll also have certain awesome things for sale (though usually not the classic pants, like my new fave Wunder Unders -- though they DO offer complimentary hemming on all their pants). That's how I scored the cozy Yin to my Yang cardi sweater last weekend for 50% off. I'm excited to wear it to class one night when I can wear just that instead of a zip-up sweater AND my fur-lined hooded down jacket. Spring's around the corner, right? But keep in mind that sale items are final sale, so make sure you love it! And if anything happens to your anything (like a loose seam from my beloved WUs), bring 'em in and they'll have their seamstress repair it, and it'll come back looking like NEW. Seriously! All the girls here were super helpful, especially in the fitting room, and they also offer some pretty cool classes for free on the weekends -- call them up for a schedule of events! read more

Unlike the other reviewer, I have always has attentive service when I come in to this store. The employees really do know their yoga, and can make helpful suggestions based on which types of yoga you do and your "cover-up comfort level." The prices leave something to be desired, but the quality of the products is excellent. I think you get better bang for your buck here versus Lucy. And there is definitely a much larger selection at lululemon. read more

I am a huge fan of Lululemon products. Yes, although they are very "mainstream" these days and mocked for the price, I've always found that the quality matches the price. Some of the items names are "trendy" such as "Wunder Unders" and "Run For Your Life" crops, but between running and training, I love the gear! I workout daily and I can definitely say that I've gotten my money's worth out of my Lululemon gear. I wear more of the crops/leggings than anything else since they are so versatile and I can wear them year-round if I want. What's nice is that complimentary hemming is included with your purchase so when I have to get my Groove or Astro pants hemmed, it's never a problem and done within the business week. There have been a few instances where even after receiving my hemmed pants, they need to be re-hemmed. My only complaint is that the complimentary hemming doesn't include the sleeves of some of my favorite jackets. I'm a little bummed about that, but I've managed to deal. The service at this particular Lululemon is awesome despite stopping in while in the midst of a store remodel. Neeley, one of the associates, went above and beyond trying to help me find a jacket that would keep me warm, hooded, and had the thumb-holes to use during running. $120 later ... yeah, it's more than I wanted to spend, but I didn't feel like I was being sold on the gear and I felt like I was being pointed in the right direction. When she asked me what tops I wore for running and training, I told her politely that I'm not a fan of Lululemon tops and rather just wear old t-shirts. So instead of trying to sway my mind, she took it at face value and got back to work on finding me the perfect jacket. I am always pleased with my purchases and the service. Between the Hingham, Prudential, and the Natick locations, I've always been a happy customer and will continue to return. read more

I have become addicted to Lululemon's running gear, especially the leggings! Although on the slightly expensive side I have purchased two pairs of running leggings that worked out well for the back to back half marathons I have done. (Both pairs are coming with me for a destination race.) The only complaint I have is the customer service. Two out of the four times I have walked in here was I actually helped. The other two times the staff were so snobby and didn't even acknowledge my existence. Personally I get really put off when a sales person doesn't even bother asking you if they can help you find something. I am a little on the heavy side but I'm active. And there may be some days I'm not in the mood to slap on make up or sport designer handbags. That doesn't mean I can't afford the clothing in there. Hoping when I am shopping for warmer winter running gear the staff are more personable. read more

Extremely disappointed in their customer service. Went in to ask for a repair of an item where the waistband stretched out and they refused to help. They complained that the product was older and as a result couldn't do anything for me. I have never had such a negative experience with lululemon staff as they are typically very helpful with after purchase service (hemming, etc), but I immediately left after this experience. I am an avid lululemon shopper in Los Angeles, and I am surprised that in such a lovely mall and location they have such awful customer service. I must say I have been quite hesitant to purchase anything from this location as well as their Copley location due to the lack of acknowledgement I have received when entering the store. It is my understanding that this company prides itself on customer service yet I am never acknowledged when I am walking around the store. If I am spotted it is to give a less then pleasurable glance or to say "excuse me" so they may reach another employee to consume candy in the dressing room area. About 6 months ago I purchased a bag that I used while traveling. The seam started to separate causing holes along the zipper. I spoke with Sarah who had gone above and blond to locate a new bag for me. Unfortunately the bag was sold out throughout the U.S. Sarah reimbursed me the full cost of the bag on a gift certificate allowing me to purchase another bag in the future. I was more than happy with that decision. Two weeks later Sarah contacted me to let me know their store had received a new shipment of bags and would hold a few for me if I hadn't bought a new bag in the meantime. I've been a marathon runner for forever. I know how important it is to have clothes that wick and that don't chafe. I'm willing to spend money for quality stuff, like good shoes, bras, and pants. That being said, I visited the Lululemon store today to get some yoga pants. The no name brand ones I bought years back for next to nothing are getting a little faded and I thought I'd treat myself. They're still perfectly fine to sweat in, I just thought, "Let's try out this place for a change." Wow. 108 dollars for a pair of pants to stretch in for an hour a couple of times a week? Then, because I'm short, I'd need the free hemming. But because I live an hour away, I'd have to pay another 10 bucks to have them shipped to me. Grand total of $118. I've never spent that much money for marathon clothing OR shoes. And that's a sport where lack of comfort can destroy months of hard work. Apparently, getting in touch with your inner self requires meditation AND big bucks. Can't believe I've been doing yoga all this time, and in comfortable, cheap clothes to boot. Oh dear. I didn't realize I was supposed to be paying an arm and a leg in order to do yoga properly. People really buy this stuff? Proof that there's a sucker born every minute. You people who are spending that money are being taken for a ride, big time. I'll stick with my TJ Maxx specials thank you very much. I have more important things to spend my money on than filling some corporation's greedy coffers. read more

I had a mat I got a couple years ago that I never ended up using then when I did I realized I didn't like it, they didn't carry the item anymore but they still gave me a sizable amount of money back for it towards a new one, $20 later I walked out with a much better mat than I walked in with, I absolutely love it, and the ladies here we extremely helpful and kind. I don't mind paying more for quality, especially if they can back up the customer satisfaction part of it, hard to find these days. read more

I had a recent experience in which a year old pair of men 's kung fun pants faded badly. They were to the point where I was only able to wear them inside my house because they looked bad. I brought them into the natick lulu and the staff there took care of my problem. After one look at the faded pants they replaced them without any problems. I really applaud the sales women at lulu for how great they were at keeping a customer happy! 4 stars only due to the old pair of faded pants I had. The salespeople at this store are amazing. I came in to buy some yoga-workout clothes, and the woman helping me seemed as excited as I was to get me geared up. She suggested a lot of things, and gave me honest advice, such as which things would not flatter my build and which would. Plus, she waited to watch how each thing looked when i tried it on, and had someone pin the yoga pants -- they do onsite hemming at no charge. Psyched -- and two-day turnaround. Let me start by letting you know I dread having to shop for my wife. I could feel the anxiety start as soon as I saw the front door. I was greeted by a very nice woman who was behind the register. She asked if I was looking for anything special. I let her know my wife was new to working out and was looking for basic work out clothes. Of course the dreaded question was "what size". And being the typical male jerk I replied "about your size". She said no problem and gave me some suggestions. I walked out with a bag within a 1/2 hour. Some of the clothes seemed pricey but I mix it up with a regular priced item and a sale item. DONE. But best of all she loved her Birthday gift. So, I'm giving them two stars based on the fact that the store is clean and the clothes are comfy. However, the staff there is terrible. I went in to try on some men's clothes. After seeing that a pair of pants was $128 I did what any sane individual would do, so I asked if they had any coupons or discounts. When I asked the lady at the front desk she let out this very bitchy giggle and told me that Lululemon didn't do that, and maybe I should try somewhere else. Then I asked another very reasonable question. "Why are they so expensive?" The lady then giggled again and told me that Lululemon has a guarantee that they will replace pants if there is an issue. I was thinking, okay that makes sense that they would be that expensive if there is a guarantee. I asked her what the guarantee covered. She said that if a manufacturer defect happened then they would be covered, but that it would be up to the store whether or not they would replace them. Fair enough. I decided not to purchase the pants. Partly because of the way the staff made me feel, and partly because I believe anyone who spends $128 on pants should have their head checked. I get that Lululemon is trying to market to rich people who do yoga, but your staff should try their best not to make it seem that way. I talked to 2 employees that day, both were douches, and one seemed too busy with her laptop to help me. read more
