I showed up at 7:54pm (store closes at 8) to do a quick size exchange. Even though customers were still in there, a woman working there turned me away saying they had to close early for an employee event. Really unfortunate and poor customer experience. Even after I explained I just wanted to do a quick exchange, she still couldn't be bothered and I felt very rudely treated. I had called as well as been in that area that morning and did not see any sign or message that they were closing early, or wouldn't have wasted my time. read more

She said she was the store manager but would not complete my return even though the items are new with tags because I am four days past the thirty day return policy due to covid. On the day when I am going to pick it up I get an email saying the order is cancelled and while they "know it isn't ideal" there are customer educators that I can chat with. Fresh new location in Legacy Place. Loved that one of the staff greeted me as soon as I walked in . I stopped in for a fresh new mat. I was initially considering a purple and white mat but have had issues in the past with the lighter colored mats getting a little stained and dirty. I found a gorgeous black reversible mat. I was a little on the fence about purchasing it, so I lingered "meditating on the mats" and during that time a total of three staff approached me and asked me if I had questions or needed help. They must have addressed previous complaints about service because these folks were very attentive! I also loved that even though there was only one other person in line, one of the sales staff opened a register to check me out. Yes, this place is pricey, but it's always worth checking in. Sometimes great stuff goes on clearance but it's just mixed in with the regular stuff. I got a yoga mat bag in 2014 for a mere $29 at the Chestnut Hill location which I've been enjoying for six plus years. These mats also do not slip at all! Do not use essential oils on them because that detracts from their tackiness/ hold- just wipe down with soap and water or throw it in the shower. read more

I usually go to the Natick location or Burlington but I have to say I really like this location in Dedham. I recently went on the lululemon website and saw a lot of reviews about how the quality has gone down hill recently. I was a little reluctant to buy anything since the reviews on certain clothing pieces were recent. However, after checking out the clothes in this store, I didn't see any issue with the quality (might be a different story after I wear them a couple times). I only got a workout bra (reversible) and 2 pairs of underwear (one thong and one hipster). I saw a really nice zip up as I was leaving but at $98 I couldn't justify it having just spent ~$86 on a sports bra & 2 pairs of underwear. Be sure to check out the sale section! Great priced cute items. Saw a cute sweatshirt but passed it up as it's not something I need right now. read more

Who ever gave this location a five star are lying. This place deserves a 1 star, terrible customer service. Do not waste your money or time here, I rather go to chestnut hill or copley location. This female manager on duty was not helpful in satisfying customer needs and even tried to complain about how I could not get the replacement for the damaged product. I love lululemon. I was willing to go in and spend some hefty money (because we all know the place isn't cheap). However, upon entering, I was not greeted. At no point did anyone ask if I needed help or anything. In fact, I received suspicious stares, I guess because I'm black I probably would've stole something? Idk, the entire experience was just crap. It's nothing new to me, but this lulu experience just made me feel uncomfortable and as if I couldn't really ask for help without being judged. Popped into Lulu while I was traipsing around Legacy Place this weekend, and as with all my other Lululemon experiences, this one was great. The store is average size, really friendly and welcoming (love the doggie water bowl outside!), and chock full of product. The one stand-out, though with this branch, was the staff. Holy crap. I feel like I walked out of there with 3 new friends. I went in just to browse some new pants, maybe a winter running shirt, and to buy one of those travel pooch things for when I'm out walking the puppy. I ended up chatting with nearly everyone in there for a while. They didn't seem pushy like some can be, just really friendly and wanting to talk about running and yoga. So, thanks ladies! While I have Lululemon right here in the city for me to spend all my paychecks at, whenever I'm down at LP for the Whole Foods extravaganza, I'll definitely pop in! read more

Best retail experience of my life. Ever. I've never actually been inside a lululemon before today. I had only heard about it from friends and the general consensus was EXPENSIVE. I had time to kill and a paycheck so I decided to pop in and I'm so glad I did. While most of their items are expensive ($100 yoga pants, $50 tank tops) they seem to be ultra high end premium quality. There is also a decent sized clearance rack at the back of the store with a ton of 50% off stuff. I was browsing yoga mats and towels and Tony asked if I had any questions. We got to chatting and I found out we go to the same yoga studio. He asked about my mat and I embarrassingly confessed that I got it for $16 at Ocean State Job Lot, 3 yrs ago. He unrolled a new mat and I flowed through a Sun A salutation right there in the store. It was a medium thickness, perfectly squishy, non slip mat. It was hot pink. It was amazing. Tony said I could have it. For free. No catch. After I excitedly hugged him, I chatted with him and his co-worker Britta about running and yoga. The staff here is incredible. Actually, I particularly like going to this Lululemon when I am at the Legacy Place area. While some people may consider it a "bad" thing per se, but although the store is always busy, the staff seem to leave me alone. Maybe they think I'm out of place? But seriously, I like coming here because I am free to browse and be left alone. I've exchanged a few items I purchased online here at this store and have never had a problem. Yes, the clothes are expensive. But if you take care of them appropriately, they will last. Bonus, this particular location has one of the best selections of Final Sale items. Sure, there are no exchanges or returns allowed on these items, but there's always a good selection and worth a look. read more

I stopped by Lululemon while browsing at Legacy Place this weekend. I needed a new pair of running crops, but of course left with a few additional items. Is it possible to buy just one item at Lulu? Their apparel is of exceptional quality and fun to wear. I usually pop into the store at Copley, where I always have a great experience, but the customer service at the Legacy Place store was stand-out, and so here I am... yelping. I was promptly offered a dressing room and was given great advice when trying to decide between a turquoise top and something a bit funkier. I was encouraged to take the risk, and I'm glad I did. Additionally he man working at the check out was personable and engaging, as were the other people working this past Saturday. I love that they've decorated their store windows with Operation Beautiful-esque post-its bearing messages of positivity and self-appreciation. Stopped by to try out the energy sports bra that was highly recommended to me. I saw it online but really wanted to to purchase it in person. The line was a bit long and I could not wait. I just went in with a pair of leggings that I was looking to exchange (due to a defect) fully expecting to be turned away but instead I was welcomed with open arms and all of the educators in the store were extremely friendly and helpful and made my shopping trip extremely pleasant! They not only helped me exchange the leggings, but they even gave really helpful advice on what length would be best for my short legs and which color/pattern to go for with my new pair! If you have a chance to go to this Lululemon store, I would 110% recommend going as all of the employees are extremely sweet and will go out of their way to make sure you leave in a good mood! Ironically, I am single and unfortunately put some weight back on so there is not much I can buy for myself in the store. This is a great Lulu store. The company really cares about sending a good message, making high quality products, and even offers free yoga in their stores. The staff at this location are the nicest of any of the Lulu stores that I've been to. I also really enjoyed the complementary yoga sessions every Sunday morning and drove out to this location although I was closer to the Boston store. Incase you're unfamiliar with Lululemon they make very high quality athletic clothes as well as some equipment- yoga mats, water bottles, headbands, bags, etc. Go to the website to read about goal setting, yoga basics, or join the Lulu community. When you have a question, go to this location- the staff here all use the products daily and can really help you out. I went to return some Christmas gifts (I received from my aunt that lives out of state). I lost the gift receipt, things happen. I wasn't expecting cash. Just a store credit (they didn't have what I was looking for). We'll apparently I expected way too much from this location. The girl working the counter was unbelievably rude. You can't return anything here without proof of purchase (other locations don't have this policy and online doesn't either FYI) as soon as I left the store I called the company directly and they sent me out a return label and are now issuing me a store credit. I wouldn't give this business (they are individually owned) your business they obviously don't care about there customers. read more

I've always had good experiences here; from learning about the brand to buying my first pair of yoga pants. What I like about this store is they take a general interest in you and what your doing to stay active. After struggling to find the right pair of shorts to use for my ballet class, It's nice how they find a way to relate to you and what your doing. For example, one girl told me that " her friend loved the pair of shorts she sold me" After trying them on it was love at first sight. I trust the whole team who works here; they are very knowledgeable about their products and care about you as an individual. read more

Seems like there is fair amount of discontent with the service. I must be either lucky or just so old and cranky that the troops are happy to get me out of the store PDQ. As an aging gym rat of long duration I generally wear Dick's Sporting Goods stuff; fit and finish are not a consideration. My daughter however has higher standards so for my birthday bought me Sewall Sweats which ....can you believe it they tailor. This may not be a big deal for women but this is new to men. These things are super comfortable and it appears that if you wash them do not even over time smell like someone died wearing them. My one star reduction is due to my inability to wrap my head around the cost however given the traffic, 68.75 stock price and 37.5 PE; price for most does not seem to be an issue. read more

Wow, I can't believe that so many people have had a positive experience with this staff. I visit this store frequently, along with Lucy two doors down, to shop for new yoga/gym clothes. I tell you, if the staff was the least bit attentive or nice, I would buy their stuff. I do have some of the pants, once I figured out my size and could get them by myself without bothering anyone. I've been here a few dozen times, and I can count on one hand the number of times that a sales person greeted me. Today was the last straw - no more visits. Lucy's staff and clothes are much nicer. I walked in on a Saturday about a month ago , I was about 1 of 3 people in the store and not one staff member greeted me and of course they all knew I was there, wanted to buy something that day but decided not to because of this, went this Saturday and was looking at the yoga pants , I asked one of the staff members about the style and when I commented she behaved like she had made them herself and got all defensive & snappy, the girl at the register was way too fake, shame they don't employ genuine staff. read more

I was unsure of the fit, and all 3 employees assured me that everything fit fine and looked great. The store was clean, bright, and neatly organized.
